 [This is just a theory but I’m suspecting he’s run out of mana.] Snow spoke her words echoeing in Kyle’s ears like a divine message.
 If he’s run out of mana then why am i still sensing mana oozing around him. Kyle frowned clearly seeing the blue mana smoke emitting from troy.
 [It’s a trick. I don’t know how but some how he’s trying to absorb mana rapidly. Which is being rejected by his body as per his limit. Resulting in the mirage you’re witnessing.]
 Woah! Kyle exclaimed not expecting to hear such at all.
 The great ruler of lumia kingdom depleted his mana? It was questionable how much mana he contained in the first place as it also seemed infinite. No matter how hard he struck or how many skills he used. Troy had an answer to all his attacks!
 Haha! Cheeky bastard. Kyle smiled like a maniac his suspicions confirmed. So he’s basically sitting duck.
 Hey! Troy! Kyle called out a few meters from troy. The ever calm expression lingered on Troy’s indifferent face.
 I dare you to try and come at me if you’re man enough! Kyle yelled with a conceding look.
 He planned to get into Troy’s head like before during their first fight. Pushing him off reasoning into a path of blind range. Which he’d capitalize on noting he was without mana.
 ’How is is will power this strong.’ Amongst all the creatures, beasts, and people he’d faced. None was able to amount to the mind-blowing mental fortification troy possessed.

 ’i can use shadow walk but it’d be my last for today.’ Weighing his options, he planned on using shadow skill to get close to troy.
 Yes, snow confirmed the former was without mana, and he sensed it. It couldn’t be denied troy was a dangerous person. Resorting to other means, than just relying on his abilities.
 "What’s wrong? Scared I’ll break your legs?" This tike it was troy whom threw shade at kyle.
 "Ohh.. i didn’t think the all so ruthless king had any humor left." Kyle flashed a sly smile at troy.
 ’This is tricky.’ kyle frowned at the situation. His demon energy pool was low, so he had to be conservative. Dark flames being the primary demon skill was his best bet.
 It’s a shame i can’t use sonic blast.
 Having fought lynn, his genes were altered thanks to snow. And he used mana for some brief monents, untill the trap reverse effects.
 ’Guess there’s only one way.’ shaking his head he crouched his stance a bit. His aura seeping out from him, excluding a mix of red and black hue.
 "Seriously? This is your best-" Troy’s words caught in his throat seeing kyle suddenly disaopeared from spot.
 "Where is he?" Troy wondered looking round, not seeing any signs if kyle.
 He’d seen the latter attempt a sprinting stance, but it was pointless. As a dual ability user h8s speed and overall stats far surpassed kyle.
 But never for once had he completely lost visual of him until now.
 ’Swoosh!’
 The air above him suddenly became hot above the level of normal. On instinct he took a big leap back, knowing exactly what was bound to occur.
 ’Bam!’
 The next moment a jetski of dark flames, burning with a shade of red. Descended to the spot where troy once stood, forming a small hole. The surrounding floor not spared, scorched black by the terrifying flame.
 "What’s with that attack?" Troy muttered sensing a flaw in Kyle’s motives.

 Seeing no way of blocking or retreating, the attack connected to the ruthless king. The dark flames rapudly eating away at his skin. Engulfing him in flames.
 ’It worked?’ There was a shocked look plastered to Kyle’s face. Seeing his plan had actually worked.

 He’d planned on utilizing his speed, closing the distance between troy. Without mana he seemed less dangerous, and he could take a few hits if need be.
 [Use flash kill.] Snow calmly spoke in his head. Thinking a bit he finally recalled there was a sub skill below the light combat skill he received.
 [Flash kill(basic): grants user the ability to utilize muscle group towards legs region. Amplifying speed to generate explosive force for a short duration of 5 seconds.]
 The description alone sounded really good for a skill in the basic stage. Kinda like a speed buff except leaning towards a more amplified version.

 Standing in place, kyle indifferently gazed at troy engulfed in dark flames. Amongst the fies he’d faced in Lumia kingdom troy was the deadliest.
 Having a cold and ruthless personality, toppled with his dual elemental abilities. Made him an unmovable force to be reckoned with.
 [Something’s not right.] Snow’s word caught his attention.
 Not denying he had his suspicions as well. Though he hadn’t used flashed kill during his first fight with troy. He’d not only gone all out, using all his trump cards. But still ended up loosing to troy with little injuries.
 ’If it weren’t for Lynn’s timing, i would’ve died.’
 Staring at troy most of his skin were peeled off by the flames. Furiously melting his body like acid. But neither fir once was there a scream, curse, nothing.
 ’This is too easy, it’s like he wanted me to do this.’ kyle couldn’t place his finger on it, but he could tell this was far from over.
 Stumbling in his tracks, the blazing humanoid figure came to a halt. It’s eyes locked onto kyle calmly standing in line.
 Snapping his fingers, an item materiaized in Troy’s hand. It was round in shape, not a complete circle or oval. Wrapped in a thick white linen cloth, some parts dyed red.
 ’Blood?’
 There was no doubt about it, blood leaking from the item in troy’s clutch.
 ’why do i have a bad feeling about this.’ familiar with death and bloodshed, kyle could tell that was none other than a body part in Troy’s possession.
 If he were to take a guess than it would be a head. But who’s?
 He knew troy was a cold murderer with a broken past just like him. But he never killed without reason, judging based on his instincts.

 There was a hugh possibility this was probably another doppelganger from the mysterious vampire. Creating a diversion to make him let his guard down like before.
 Though snow assured him the vampure was long gone, he couldn’t be too sure.
 [Wait.. oh no!] Snow uttered with a heavy tone, her voice becoming grim.
 ’What do you mean ’oh no’? This must be the vampire right?’ Kyle questioned prepared for the worst.
 [No, much worse than the vampire kyle.] Snow spoke making kyle raise a brow.
 Intrigued by the sudden downcast change in her tone.
 [That object, i wasn’t sure at first but it’s a real human head. And that isn’t all~] she paused as if trying to process her own words.
 [The aura, it didn’t seem right before but now i can clearly tell. That isn’t just any human head, but his daughter!] Snow spoke her vouce a bit high pitched.
 Stopping in his tracks kyle was left stunned in place. "Y- You’re not saying he killed his own daughter in cold blood right?"
 The thought itself was absurd knowing how deeply troy cared for both lumia and lynn.
