In the rose-scented yard, Trevor and Janelle’s mother simultaneously opened their car’s passenger door, casting their gaze onto Janelle Mills.

The fact that Trevor was also opening the passenger door left Janelle Mills shocked yet delighted. Was he going to take her away?

"Get in the car?" Trevor spoke first, his lips softly parting.

Janelle Mills immediately stepped forward, took his arm in hers, and then glanced at her mother, "Mom, you head back to the hotel first, the room card is in your bag."

With that said, she turned and got into Trevor’s car, wanting to spend some time with him simply because she liked him.

Trevor helped her close the car door, nodded to everyone, especially to Janelle’s mother, as a gesture of acknowledgement.

Then he circled around the car and took his seat in the driver’s seat. Trevor always had that gentlemanly and polite air, yet somewhat distant and cool.

Carlotta Sterling closed the passenger door, bid farewell to Mrs. Mills, and got into the car.

The two cars drove off almost simultaneously, with Trevor slightly in the lead and Carlotta following behind.

Inside the departing Maybach, Janelle Mills sat in the front passenger seat, once again occupying a relatively small space with him, feeling as if the very air was sweet.

Trevor kept his eyes on the road, driving seriously, the sunlight streaming through the window made his face appear more handsome and defined.

The girl secretly glanced at him a few times, "Today... thank you so much." Remembering that kiss, she couldn’t help but blush.

"Mm." Trevor did not look at her.

From just one word, one couldn’t discern his emotions.

After a brief silence, Janelle Mills found a topic, "By the way, how much do I owe you?"

"Forget it," Trevor still looked ahead and said, "Such a sum doesn’t mean anything to either you or me."

"But I don’t want to owe you a favor!" The girl blurted out, "It’s ultimately still my debt."

Only then did Trevor glance at her, "Are you trying to settle accounts with me? That kiss earlier, you didn’t ask for my permission. How should that be calculated?"

"..." Janelle Mills was slightly stunned, blinking her large innocent eyes, he’s still remembering that?

"Can it be settled clearly?" Trevor asked again, then retracted his gaze.

The girl pondered, "Why don’t you... kiss me back?" She was caught up in the moment and blurted it out.

"You really have quite the imagination." Trevor said, not sounding angry.

That deep, magnetic voice, that tone, made Janelle Mills feel warm inside, unable to resist smiling.

She turned to look out the window, suddenly feeling that the scenery along the road was much better.

After a while, Janelle Mills broke the silence again, "Thank you so much for today. You must be very busy, right? Just drop me off anywhere convenient."

"Your mom’s car is right behind," Trevor’s lips parted slightly, asking, "Are you sure you want to get out?"

The girl’s chest tightened, quickly peeking at the rearview mirror, oh my! It’s true!

"No no no! I’m not getting out!!" Janelle Mills took a deep breath and exhaled long, puzzled, "Do you think my mom believes it or not?"

"Do you hope she believes it or not?"

"Of course, I hope she believes it! Then I won’t have to suffer through any more matchmaking!"

"Julian put on quite a show with you, not even considering his own feelings. How could your mom not believe it?" Trevor couldn’t help but tease, "Even I almost believed it."

In the yard, in front of everyone, her arm almost hurt from holding onto him! Almost pulled off by him!

"Julian is actually a nice guy," Trevor said.

Janelle Mills told him, "But I don’t want to be with him."

Trevor turned and asked, "Then who do you want to be with?"
