Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations
Chapter 1474: Everyone’s Here
"There’s snow on the road, drive slower, safety first." Everett Morgan sat in the back seat. As anxious as he was, he was still worried.
"Don’t worry, Dad." Finn Morgan was a very steady driver too.
Everyone’s hearts were in their throats, yet finally relaxed as well. After so many days of searching, so many sleepless nights, they finally had news of Jocelyn. This was the best news before the New Year.
Jasmine clasped her hands tightly together, wishing she could rush straight to Jocelyn’s parents’ graves and tell them this good news.
The pregnant Hailey Hale was being taken care of by the servants and the butler. She couldn’t go out, but her heart had already flown over.
"Young madam, please don’t worry too much. The young miss must still be alive, she’s still updating her novel." The butler was very happy too.
"Mm-hmm." Hailey finally let out a sigh of relief. "Go tell the nutritionist to make all of Miss’s favorite dishes for lunch."
"Yes, I’ve already arranged that."
Hailey stood in the heated living room, looking out at the vast stretch of white outside. "The south suburbs are a bit far. I don’t know if the road’s iced over."
"Don’t worry, there are snow chains in the car."
On the edge of the city, inside a limited-edition Lamborghini, the driver was at the wheel.
Justin Kingston and Mia Lane sat in the back seat. They hadn’t gone to the office today; Justin had even postponed an important meeting. Once he got the address, he headed straight here.
"Our son really has some skills." Justin felt gratified. "If we train him well, he can definitely become a world-class computer genius."
"Of course, just look at who his parents are." Mia teased with a smile. "The tiger father never has a dog of a son."
Of course, as soon as Ian Shelby received the location Finn Morgan sent, he immediately drove over as well.
Ever since seeing her novel update, Ian had been so excited he didn’t sleep a wink all night.
On this snowy morning, everyone’s hearts were tied to Jocelyn Morgan’s, only their mood was different from the last time they went to the ancient town.
Everyone was full of hope and very excited.
In Finn’s car, Jasmine gripped her husband’s hand tightly and said heavily, "I will never agree to Jocelyn being with Ian again."
There was a brief silence in the car.
On this matter, Finn didn’t comment. He felt the most important thing now was to find her and make sure she was physically okay.
After all, she’d been pushed from such a height...
Everett Morgan’s expression darkened a little as well. "We do value being democratic, but Dr. Shelby really isn’t suitable."
Jasmine added, "He’s a good doctor but not necessarily a good husband. With how busy he is all year round, he can’t possibly be a good father either—he can’t even give the most basic companionship."
Just then, Trevor’s call came through on Mia’s phone. She glanced at the caller ID and picked up. "Hello, bro."
"Stella, we ran into Jocelyn at a welfare home. She’s fine, just has partial amnesia." Trevor reminded her, "You can call off the search and rescue over at the ancient town."
"Okay, we’re heading to the welfare home too, we’ll be there soon." Mia said, "Jocelyn updated her novel last night. Gigi tracked the IP address where she posted it."
"Got it. You all be careful on the road."
About five minutes later, Finn and the others arrived first.
Harlan Quinn brought the children into the classroom and found a seat for Ethan Dalton, even specially arranging for him to sit in the front row.
"Dianna, lead the new text for everyone once through." Harlan Quinn instructed, and as he turned his head he saw the car that had just parked in the courtyard.
"Okay, Director."
Before leaving, Harlan Quinn set a book down on Ethan Dalton’s desk. "Ethan, do you know how to read?"
The textbook was very simple, third-grade level. Ethan had had a tutor recently, so he nodded. "I know how."
"Good. Turn to page thirty-two and read along with Dianna." With that, Harlan Quinn encouragingly patted his head, then finally walked out.
