At Screaming Castle, the forest which had calmed down started to twist uncontrollably.

The sharp noise made Gu Xi feel a bit uneasy.

"Take down those bodies."

While arranging the troops to enter Screaming Castle, Gu Xi ordered.

The Ghost Squad, transformed into White Impermanence, was tasked with handling these corpses.

Just as they were about to take the bodies down from the roots, the roots twisted slightly.

"Shoot!"

After arranging his troops, Gu Xi began to examine the interior of the castle before him.

As the castle had collapsed when it was abandoned, there was not much dust inside.

The hall before him was roughly the size of three large blocks, surrounded by various stairs and big doors leading to different places.

Since the interior had not yet been fully explored, Gu Xi was not in a hurry to enter but carefully observed the part he could see, calculating how he would operate the Screaming Castle ahead.

Demolishing Screaming Castle and rebuilding a village would be the lowest choice.

Even building a village in the mountain forest on the ground would be better than this option.

However, at this moment, Gu Xi had the idea of whether he could reactivate Screaming Castle.

If possible, Screaming Castle would surpass Blood Sacrifice Ridge, becoming the most important outpost under Gu Xi.

Their level was roughly at Level 6.

Their combat power was ordinary, only holding out a few hits against Skeleton Soldiers, and if blunt weapons hit them, it was a severe blow, sometimes dismantling them with one hit.

As the armor disassembled, red liquid flowed out from within them.

Evidently, these were a type of unit similar to Ghost Knights.

As Gu Xi observed the battle here, the fight was nearing its end.

Even though the barracks were still operational, the number of dark red armor that came out to fight wasn’t large.

Only around a hundred, surrounded by Skeleton Soldiers, dismantled by three to five strikes.

Soon, all the enemies here were killed.

When the Skeleton Bosses rushed into the barracks before him, there was a ding sound in Gu Xi’s ear.
