Chapter 86: Caught in the act 2

Trevor took a deep breath before he finally continued along the lines he had planned.

"Well, thank you so much for allowing me to at least use your toilet. It was really bad," Trevor said, holding his tummy and pretending to be genuinely surprised to see Miss Silvia there.

But Miss Silvia was no fool at all. She immediately knew that something was wrong, and almost instantly, things started to add up.

It became clear. She had seen through everything from the start. She noticed how Miss Bella had been sweating so much and how untidily she was dressed, as though she had hurriedly put her clothes on. At first, she thought maybe it was just the heat in the room that caused all of that.

But then, when she entered the room, she caught a certain smell that lingered after people had been intimate - a mixture of sweat and something more. Even then, she chose to overlook it.

Now Trevor was suddenly coming out of her toilet.

The dots had to connect. There was literally no way all of this was just one big coincidence.

But it really wasn’t her problem after all. She couldn’t care less. She had explicitly told Trevor not to see her again after the day they met.

"Well, it is really okay. Sorry you were having a hard time. Hope it’s better now," Miss Berry said, her voice trying to fake concern.

But as bad as it sounded, it was obvious she was terrible at putting on an act.

Miss Silvia couldn’t even speak anymore. Her hands kept tapping furiously on the table, her teeth clenched so tightly it seemed like she could snap at any moment.

"Well, why couldn’t you go home immediately, Trevor? Or at least use the school toilet? I mean, we all know the school has good toilets, don’t they?" she said, forcing a laugh.

Berry laughed along awkwardly, still trying so hard to stay in character.

"Um, well, I was actually trying to submit our class books when I came here, and seeing my condition, she decided to help me instead of letting me suffer by going back down to the toilets," Trevor said calmly, playing along.

At this point, it was already very clear to Miss Berry that something was off.

"Well, Miss Berry must be really kind, because it’s quite hard these days to see teachers letting students use their personal toilets when there is an active and functional one just a few steps away," Miss Silvia said casually, still trying to laugh it off.

But Miss Berry was no longer laughing. Sweat dripped down her body instead.

She was quite sure these two knew each other.

But at the same time, she wasn’t completely certain. It could also mean Miss Silvia was just looking out for him. She couldn’t quite tell yet.

Still, the way Silvia’s hands moved rapidly along the table said a lot.

"Well, so tell me, Trevor, are you just being a pervert? Because we both know the restroom is actually less than five minutes from here. Don’t take advantage of Miss Bella, please," Miss Silvia said calmly. Her reasoning was valid, and her act was flawless.

But what Trevor said next shattered her composure almost immediately.

"Don’t say that, please. Miss Berry and I have been friends for some time. She values my friendship and trusts me. I was really in need, so she helped me because she values me - something I would always pay back," Trevor paused before continuing.

"And guess what? She wasn’t ashamed of it, and she would never try to deny that again, because she knew I would have done the same - unlike some other people," Trevor said with a smile.

Trevor’s message was unclear, yet at the same time, very clear. It felt like he was speaking directly to Miss Silvia beneath the surface.

Miss Silvia calmly excused herself from the room, pretending to take a call, and Trevor did the same.

Miss Bella, at this point, felt a little uneasy, but she brushed it off, praying that Miss Silvia wasn’t actually aware of what had happened.

Deep down, however, her feelings were mixed. She knew very well that she had enjoyed every moment she had spent with Trevor. Finally, she was sure about her feelings for him. She wasn’t sure if it was because of what they had just done, but she knew she liked him.

She remained seated, replaying everything in her mind - the way he had held her, the nice things he had said.

She knew it was wrong for her to have done that, but she couldn’t do anything about it now. She just needed rest.

She had been thinking about Trevor for so long that it didn’t even seem to matter anymore.

Trevor quickly walked past Miss Silvia in the hallway without saying a word. It was as if they were strangers.

But it was very obvious to him that Miss Silvia was furious.

She couldn’t explain why, but for some reason, she was deeply angry at Trevor.

She had genuinely thought he would take the opportunity outside the office to explain things to her or at least say the usual "it’s not what you think."

But to her surprise, Trevor had simply walked past her without sparing her a single word.

Miss Silvia was stunned by his actions, but she said nothing. After all, she was the one who had told him to stay away.

Yet deep down, it hurt her more than she could express.

Meanwhile, Trevor was all smiles.

He had finally gotten his crush.

The smile wouldn’t leave his face. All he could think about was how to make her one of his harem members. The thought kept growing - were there other ways he could control his harem?

He couldn’t wait to see what the system had in store for him.

Trevor walked out of the school proudly, his posture straight as a sense of triumph surged through him.

Right now, he didn’t care what Miss Silvia thought. Deep down, he did, but he couldn’t show it.

Trevor ordered an Uber through his app and waited patiently. In less than ten minutes, the ride arrived. He calmly opened the door, entered, and left without expression.

He didn’t even look back.

Meanwhile, Miss Silvia stood there, watching, hoping he might turn around or say something.

She thought he would at least speak to her outside the office.

But he didn’t.

He simply walked past her as if nothing in the world mattered.

Maybe it had all been an act from the beginning - just to get close to her.

Miss Silvia felt frustrated, almost wishing she hadn’t said those words to him.

But she had her work on the line, and even if she could go back in time, she would probably still make the same decision.

Trevor was indeed a good and caring person, but she wasn’t about to jeopardize everything she had worked for just to be exposed.

Her life was already complicated enough. As a former aviator, even having this job required her to use fake identities and live as quietly as possible. It was nothing like the life she used to have.

And that alone was already too much for her.

She just wanted to survive.

Miss Silvia watched Trevor’s Uber disappear down the road until it was completely out of sight.

Thinking back, Trevor was the only man who had ever shown her what it truly meant to be cared for.

That was the only reason she had even allowed him into her life.

But maybe Trevor wasn’t as genuine as she thought.

What if he had just been using her, and she had fallen for it?

Miss Silvia returned to her office and calmly picked up her bag, preparing to go home. Since Trevor and Mr Austin had challenged each other, she couldn’t risk staying.

Mr Austin had always used threats - expulsion or worse - to manipulate her, forcing her into situations she didn’t want.

She had tried reporting him many times, but nothing was ever done. It wasn’t as if the principal valued her work anyway.

At least the principal didn’t threaten her directly, unlike Mr Austin.

Miss Silvia picked up her bag and slowly began walking out of the office. Deep down, she couldn’t bear to watch Trevor get expelled or targeted by Mr Austin, so she convinced herself it was a sacrifice she had to make for him.

Just as she was about to leave, a text message suddenly appeared on her phone.
