Seeing my Guardians actively interacting with each other even after our trip ended showed that the plan was a success.

Well... I’m not sure if we would be able to do this actively afterwards since we might start getting busy once everything has settled down and we start actively clearing rifts around the world.

Still, I suppose we should make use of this time that we have right now as much as we can.

We’ve done quite a lot today so everyone called an early night and went back to their rooms.

Well... Ava tried to accompany me to my room but Olivia stopped her, saying that my rest should not be disturbed tonight after spending the entire day accompanying us.

I didn’t really mind but... I knew if Ava came with me, we won’t be doing any sleeping tonight so I didn’t protest.

As for me... I went to my mediation room after my bath and began my usual meditation to absorb the Qi from the air to cultivate myself.

As I closed my eyes to awaken inside my illusory world, I tried to look around to see if there was any difference.

Hmm... Everything looks the same here... Aside from the fact that everything was getting bigger and bigger which was something I was already used to anyway so that didn’t really count as something worth mentioning.

But as I was getting ready to meditate under the tree, I heard a soft ’pop’ sound that I almost missed as background noise until I stopped and realised there should be no such thing as ’background noise’ in my own illusory space.

I spun around to see a small platform had appeared in front of the building that was just big enough for a person to stand on.

Just as I was wondering what that platform was for, light started to gather around it before it coalesced to start materialising a statue right in front of me.

I watched as the statue started forming from the feet upwards and I wondered if it was going to be a statue of the god I was supposed to be until I realised the statue was wearing a dress.

I held my breath as the rest of the statue finished forming itself and I realised I was looking at a statue of Ava who was in the same exact pose and clothes as the illustration of her in my Jade Book.

Ok... Err... What is this thing doing here? And what does it mean for this to be here?

I reached out and tried to touch the statue and paused when I felt there was something akin to life energy emanating from the statue.

It felt like the energy was trying to push through a wall or something but was being held back so I tried focusing on that stream of energy.

Closing my eyes, I found myself looking at a stream of light that was being stopped by an invisible wall in front of me.

When I tried to see where the light originated from, it seemed to just stretch endlessly towards the void of space with no end in sight.

Hmm... Seeing that this was a statue of Ava... I’m assuming this stream of light had something to do with her... Maybe this was her life energy that was trying to connect itself to me?

In that case... Maybe I should try letting it through this invisible wall to see what would happen if it was connected to me...

I reached out my hand and felt the wall that was blocking the light from reaching me.

Though it felt solid, I had a feeling that I could make it disappear if I wanted it to.

Thus, I imagined a hole opening up for the light to pass through and sure enough, the light managed to penetrate through the invisible wall and flow towards me, the light forming a trail towards my chest.

I opened my eyes and found the statue in front of me glowing again, this time the entire figure turning back to illuminate itself.

A great amount of energy then coalesced into the space that the statue was occupying before it scattered with a ’pop’.

Where there was supposed to be a statue of Ava now stood Ava herself in the flesh.

The elf blinked and looked around the place, her gaze sweeping over the courtyard, the walls, the tree and the sky before she finally lowered her gaze to realise that I was standing in front of her.

She smiled at me, "Ara, ara~ Hello my Divine~ It is I, your wife~"

I blinked at her, wondering what this elf was talking about.

Actually... Is this even really her or just simply just a remnant consciousness of hers that materialised from our connection?

Without waiting for my answer, she stepped off the platform and cupped my cheek with her hand, her lips still maintaining her usual smile.

"Come now, my husband~ The day is getting late~ We should retire to our bed for the night for me to fulfil my nightly duties~"

H... Huh? What?

I couldn’t follow the sudden change in the topic so I was a little late in reacting.

Ava then took my arm and she waved her hand in the air as though trying to change something.

But... Nothing happened.

She frowned and tried to wave her hand again but aside from a gentle breeze blowing through the courtyard, nothing else happened.

She then looked down at her hand for a moment before she perked up and turned to me, "Ara, ara? My Divine~ Are you also a lucid dreamer?"

I blinked at her, "Ava? Is that you? Like umm... Actually you and not just a memory fragment or something?"

"Ufufufu~ Yes, it is me, my Divine. I am currently dreamwalking right now and I tried to connect myself to your dreams. You are also dreaming right now, are you not?"

I shook my head slowly, "Umm... No... I’m meditating... Wait... Umm... I think you are mistaken... This is not a dream... I am currently inside my illusory world."

She paused upon hearing my words before she looked around again, taking a moment to inspect everything around before turning back to me.

"This is your illusory world? You created this space, my Divine?"

"Well... I guess you could say that? I just found myself in this space one day and things have been appearing and growing each time I grow stronger. Before this, it was a completely empty white space and the only thing around was this tree. And even back then, the tree was just the size of a sapling and was in no way this huge."

"I see, I see~ And here I thought I had managed to dreamwalk into my Divine’s dream world... When in actual fact, all I did was to be allowed entrance into my Divine’s illusory space~ As expected of my Divine!"

I don’t know what’s so ’expected’ from this but ok I guess?

There is one thing I wanted to know though...

"So what was all that thing about earlier? The one where you mentioned about you being my wife?"

"Ara? What might my Divine be talking about?"

"I mean you were telling me earlier that you were--"

"I do not remember anything like that happening, my Divine~"

"No, you definitely--"

"That did not happen at all, my Divine~"

...

She’s just going to pretend that never happened at all I see...

I let out a sigh, "Well... I guess I would just ask what you are doing here then? No wait... I can already guess... Olivia stopped you from coming to my room physically so you thought it would be a great idea if you could come to me through your dreams which would render her prevention meaningless, right?"

"Ara, ara~ Look at that, my Divine~ There’s something up there~"

I knew she was just trying to avoid answering the question but the fact that she was doing that pretty much confirmed I hit the nail on the head.

I decided to just humour her and look at what she was pointing at, giving her the chance to change the topic before I turned back to face her.

"There’s noth--"

She leaned forward and captured my lips with hers, kissing me deeply with her tongue entwined with mine.

We enjoyed the taste of each other’s lips for a moment before she pulled away, the elf licking her lips in satisfaction before she pulled me into her embrace.

"Fufufufu~ Should we get started right away, my Divine? After all... There’s no one here to watch us, right?" 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Without waiting for an answer, she reached up and pulled off the straps of her dress, letting the fabric cascade down her arms to drop down onto the floor, leaving her completely nude aside from the white stockings that she wore.

Umm... I wonder if she would be ok with just waiting for a while for me to absorb some Qi first...
