Wen Xiao was naturally supportive of Tang Li wanting to focus on her career. Neither of them was the type to get lost in romantic sentiments. They were both shining in their own fields, mutually admiring and helping each other succeed. What could be better?

While Tang Li was monitoring the production schedule on set, the film starring You Li received a nomination at an international film festival. Director Liu’s team, well-versed in these matters, handled the overseas operations, so there was no need for Tang Li to rush around.

Director Liu muttered, "So that’s why you were being so careful today. It was because of this. If you have a little one as talented as you, that would be truly incredible."

Tang Li gave a dry laugh. "I’m not going to force the whole talent thing. As long as the little one is healthy and safe, that’s all that matters."

This was a mother’s most sincere wish for her child: not for great wealth or status, but simply for a long, healthy, and peaceful life.
