Ye Qing Huan really was unstoppable when it came to this training hall.

It didn’t seem like anything that the training hall could throw at Ye Qing Huan could stop her.

So far, they had already gone through five rounds of these training dummies and there wasn’t a single time where she had been stopped by them. She just simply raised her weapon to face them and crushed them all each time.

The third round had the training dummies using actual sharp weapons.

Unlike the previous two rounds where they had used dull weapons, the training dummies were now using weapons that they could easily kill with. At the same time, their physical stats had also increased as they moved stronger and their attacks were stronger.

But even then, it didn’t seem like they could stop Ye Qing Huan.

For the fourth round, it was a second element that had been added to the training dummies.

Though it wasn’t as simple as just simply adding a second element.

With the second element, they were able to use combination attacks that were far stronger than the ones that they used previously. It wasn’t just a simple addition of the power between the two different elements, it was as if the power behind them had been multiplied by each other.

Even so, it was easy for Ye Qing Huan to crush through them.

For this fifth round, it seemed like they received another upgrade in terms of physical strength.

But when Ye Qing Huan faced them, none of that seemed to matter.

The power that Ye Qing Huan used seemed to allow her to control everything that was around her. It seemed like as long as it was inside of her range, she would be able to take control of it.

Lin Fan already knew what cultivation technique she used, but it was different seeing her use it for the first time. It was honestly his first time seeing her fight with her actual powers.

Before this, the only thing that Ye Qing Huan had ever used were other techniques that weren’t considered her main technique.

A wry smile appeared on Lin Fan’s face when he heard Xiao Sheng say this.

She had been silent this entire time, so Lin Fan was a bit surprised that Xiao Sheng would suddenly say something like this. However, he knew that she had been watching all this through him the entire time since he had asked her to remember what she could about this place.

But before Lin Fan could respond with anything, there was a voice that suddenly rang out.

"Stop, stop, you pass. That’s enough of that, there’s no need to keep wrecking my puppets."

When this voice rang out, the training dummies that had been moving forward to surround Ye Qing Huan suddenly stopped. Then as if they received an order, they all moved away from her.

With the way that they positioned themselves, it was almost as if they were creating a path for her to take.

At the same time, there was a door that opened on one of the side walls.

This was different from the doors that had appeared previously since it had always appeared at the end of the path. This door seemed like it was a door that led to a completely different place.

Since it was a different situation, neither Lin Fan or Ye Qing Huan moved forward.

The two of them looked at each other for a moment as if asking each other what they should do now, but neither of them really had an answer.

It was the same voice as before that gave them the answer in the end.

"What are you standing around for? You think that I’ll play tricks on you kids now that you’ve torn apart my training hall? Do I really seem like that much of a petty person?"

Other than that, it was what this voice said afterwards that moved them.

"Besides, you have the sensation of an old friend. Since you have that old friend’s flame, there’s no need for you to worry."

Lin Fan immediately knew what this voice was referring to.

There was a part of him that had already suspected that this was the case since that voice spoke as soon as Xiao Sheng said something. Though it was hard to confirm this, if not for the voice confirming it for them.

After a moment of hesitation, Lin Fan decided to trust this voice and take this path.

Ye QIng Huan just silently followed behind him as she trusted him to make this decision. Though from the way that she still held her weapon in her hand, it seemed like she was ready to destroy anything that came at them.

This was also part of the reason that Lin Fan decided to trust this voice.

He had faith in the strength that Ye Qing Huan possessed.

She was strong enough to protect them if anything did happen.

In the end, there was nothing that happened as they made their way through the door that opened for them.

The only thing that was waiting for them was this narrow passage. With the way that this passage was designed, it was clear that this was some kind of passage that was used by the people that had built this place.

It was only for those that were involved in the functioning of this training hall to walk through.

In fact, the way that the path was designed was clearly meant for whoever took it to check on the different parts of this training hall. If they followed this path, it was likely they might even reach the place where the others were still struggling against the training dummies.

It was unknown how far they had gotten, but Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan didn’t think that they would have gotten far enough to actually come close to where they were.

Though this path should have taken them all over the training hall, it seemed like there was only one path that was open for them. It seemed like the owner of the voice was guiding them to a specific place.

After walking for a while, it seemed like they finally arrived at the end of this path.

Once they saw the end, Ye Qing Huan stepped forward as if she was going to take the lead.

Lin Fan didn’t say anything since he had already seen the kind of power that she could release. He knew that it wasn’t his place to say anything here since she was more suited for clearing the path forward.

In the end, there was no need for that.

The room that was waiting for them at the end of the path wasn’t a normal room, it was a room that was filled with bookshelves and different books. It didn’t seem like a place that should have been in a training hall.

Other than this, there was one other thing that was in this room.

It seemed like a training dummy that was standing in the middle of all the bookshelves, but one could easily tell that this wasn’t any normal training dummy. From the looks of it, it seemed like there was something that was inhabiting this training dummy that turned it into something special.

"It’s familiar."

That was all Xiao Sheng had to say in the end when she saw this training dummy.

Only she didn’t get a chance to remember anything else about the training dummy since something came out of it all of a sudden. Once this thing came out, it was clear what this thing was.

After all, they had seen something similar in the past.

It was another remnant soul just like the old man from the alchemy hall.

"Now, who are you two?" That was the first thing that this new old man said after seeing Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan.

After a while, it seemed like his attention was drawn by Lin Fan alone.

With the way that he looked at Lin Fan, it seemed like there was something about Lin Fan that really caught his attention. It even seemed like this was something that he was familiar with based on how he looked at him.

Lin Fan didn’t know what the old man was looking for, but he did have a guess.

After all, it was most likely related to what had led them here in the first place.

"I can sense the flame of Old Duan on you, but I can’t tell how you’re related to him."

When the old man finally said this, it seemed to confirm what Lin Fan was thinking.

So even if Xiao Sheng didn’t want to come out, he still called Xiao Sheng out to meet with the old man.
