Wizard: Starting With Synthesized Gems
Chapter 442: The Destroyed Dormitory
Wizard Sphendis and Locke arrived at the student dormitories located 15 kilometers away.
Out of prejudice against commoner wizards, Wizard Sphendis furiously came to the dormitory entrance. At this time, the student dormitory clearly had not anticipated the arrival of two First Circle wizards at all.
Those students bowed in salute to Locke and the others, and quite a few people had strange expressions on their faces. Locke keenly noticed this point, while Wizard Sphendis, trapped in his anger, completely failed to notice.
The two walked into the entrance corridor of the 15-kilometer level student dormitories and headed toward Leopold's dormitory. Before they had gotten close, they were already frowning.
The corridor floor was completely covered with furniture and beds, as well as fragments of clothing and low-level magical materials. When the two walked to Leopold's dormitory location and looked, they saw a complete mess on the ground.
The entire dormitory had been destroyed, from walls to floor, and furniture, everything had been completely demolished.
On the wall was also a line written with a quick painter's magical pigment, "Get out, commoner!"
That was magical pigment, one of the alchemist's creations, difficult to automatically remove. Only through specific means or after experiencing decades of time might there be some fading.
Leopold and several other students from his research group were cleaning inside the dormitory. They were obviously very angry too, just holding it in without speaking out.
Around them were quite a few first-class wizard apprentices watching this scene, making cold ridicule, sneering and mocking.
And the arrival of Locke and Wizard Sphendis clearly exceeded everyone's expectations. Those first-class wizard apprentices' mocking voices came to an abrupt halt.
Wizard Sphendis frowned. Seeing this scene, he became even more contemptuous of this group of commoner wizards. "How did the student dormitory area in the White Dragon Tower's highest level district end up like this? Lord Locke, I'm not questioning you, but first these wizard apprentices stole money, then as soon as they arrived at such a good place, they made it a complete mess and corrupted all our good students."
"This area was originally only accessible to students from prestigious families. It's the highest level apprentice area in the Land of Six Towers, yet they actually destroyed it to look like this. No, I must send them to wizard prison!"
When Leopold and the others heard Wizard Sphendis's voice, their faces immediately turned pale. They fearfully glanced at Wizard Sphendis, afraid of causing trouble for Locke, and also afraid this liquefaction stage formal wizard would really send them to wizard prison.
And the surrounding family wizard apprentices watching the show, hearing Wizard Sphendis say this, immediately seemed to have found a backer, and mocking expressions toward Leopold and the others reappeared on their faces.
Leopold hurriedly said to Locke and Wizard Sphendis, "Both teachers, we didn't cause this destruction. We just returned to the dormitory and then saw this scene."
Wizard Sphendis coldly swept his gaze over him. "If you didn't do it, then who do you say did?"
Leopold opened his mouth to speak, but he suddenly realized he truly didn't know who did it.
Ever since the research group entered the finals, the family wizards' targeting of them suddenly intensified, even becoming increasingly uncontrollable.
They had reported to Wizard Montgomery several times and couldn't get a good resolution. Wizard Montgomery could only tell them to endure it.
They were people doing great things and couldn't lose their rationality over a little provocation from those people.
But unexpectedly, today they would encounter such a situation. Even some relatively precious apprentice-level magical materials he had kept in the dormitory had now disappeared without a trace. Some materials related to the research group that had been placed in the dormitory were also missing. Fortunately, those materials were just data from some unimportant experiments, so even if lost, it didn't matter much.
Wizard Sphendis sneered. "I knew you couldn't say. Because there simply aren't any other people. It was you who did it." ππ£πππππππΌππ²πΉ.ππ π
Wizard Sphendis was full of prejudice. "Before you entered this area, the atmosphere here was very good. After you entered, it became like this."
"As long as we get rid of you, order here can be restored."
"Thinking about complex problems simply, one can reach this conclusion. Am I wrong? Leopold, return the nine magic crystal cards you stole to me!"
Immediately, some students in Locke's research group turned their gazes to Leopold, their eyes showing doubt.
And Leopold, besides being puzzled, was frightened by Wizard Sphendis's targeting. Nine magic crystal cards?
One magic crystal card, even if they sold him, he couldn't pay it back.
And there were nine!
Leopold felt like he had fallen into a troublesome vortex. Today, unlucky events came one after another, and each time misfortune arrived so suddenly that before he could react, things had already happened.
He began to fear for his future and destiny.
But just as Leopold felt helpless, Locke indifferently swept his gaze over Wizard Sphendis, then gave Leopold a reassuring look.
Locke said, "Wait a moment, Sphendis. I'm his research group guidance wizard, so he's actually under my management. I remember he's not under your management, right?"
"Sphendis."
Wizard Sphendis felt the cold magical pressure transmitted from Locke's body. He involuntarily felt some fear arise in his heart.
Locke snapped his fingers, and immediately a magical radiance enveloped the entire floor of the student dormitory. With Locke's feet as the center, one wave after another struck the ground.
Locke collected the surrounding negative energy particle field, gathering all the information of everything that had happened from one day ago until just now, and transformed it all into phantoms.
This was a mixed spell of historical projection and Summon Tomb Spirit.
Although this was only apprentice-level archaeological magic, it was just investigating matters between apprentices and didn't involve complex magical pressure influences, so it was indeed sufficient.
"Actually, there's an even simpler method for this matter, Sphendis. I can directly restore what just happened." Locke snapped his fingers, and immediately all the furnishings in the room completely returned to their original state.
One by one, objects reappeared in the dormitory in the form of phantom particles.
All the students were greatly shocked seeing this scene.
Wizard Sphendis said in surprise, "This is... archaeological magic? Lord Locke, you're also an archaeologist?"
"I remember archaeologists have a special status on the black wizard side... many of their magics were obtained from ancient ruins..."
"You're actually an archaeologist."
Next came something that shocked him even more. Phantoms walked into the bedroom, and as soon as those phantoms entered, they began smashing and looting, putting document materials into their astral rings, and also taking away some rare apprentice-level magical resources that had been placed in the dormitory.
Then they began using quick painter's pigment to smear on the walls.
What shocked Wizard Sphendis was that among the wizard apprentices committing these evil acts, one was actually his first-class wizard apprentice student, and appeared to be the ringleader.
"Barnaby Cooper?"
Wizard Sphendis looked at Barnaby. In Locke's historical projection magic, he stood at the dormitory door with his hands on his hips laughing, even making an obscene gesture afterward. His face immediately darkened.
"How dare he? The Cooper family is at least a mid-grade prestigious family. How could they produce such a direct family heir? As a prestigious family heir, he actually publicly made such an obscene gesture, such an immoral thing!"
The Land of Six Towers still had morals. The various wizard families still valued etiquette and face to maintain their own nobility.
And clearly, Barnaby Cooper's actions in the historical projection, as well as his completely different demeanor from usual, left many family wizards watching the show astonished, and even feeling dissatisfied, displeased, even resistant and disgusted.
Locke looked at Leopold, "Who are all these people?"
Leopold pointed at Wizard Sphendis, "That Barnaby Cooper is Teacher Sphendis's student."
Locke immediately looked at Wizard Sphendis and said calmly, "Wizard Sphendis, your student took materials from my research group. Can you have him return the materials to me? Also, does this count as theft or robbery? Should he be locked in wizard prison?"
Wizard Sphendis swallowed, immediately feeling utterly ashamed. He had come aggressively wanting to catch those commoner wizards' weaknesses, but now he discovered his student had just done something absurd here.
This student dormitory area was the White Dragon Tower's highest level apprentice area. Being unbridled here was unacceptable to begin with, yet his student actually dared to destroy it here, which was equivalent to directly destroying the Plutarch family's assets.
Sweat covered Wizard Sphendis's forehead. "This... this... Lord Locke, I truly knew nothing about this. If I had known he would do something so stupid, I wouldn't have dared to accompany you here today."
Wizard Sphendis immediately thought of how his student had also taken materials from Locke's research group. His heart suddenly turned ice cold, because he discovered that the way Locke looked at him had already completely changed. It was bone-chilling coldness.
"I truly didn't know about this matter."
"This..."
