Building Interstellar Empire With Universal Synthesis
Chapter 154: The Celestial Fishing River (3)
Neo decided to take Zestia and Noir with him. He would have loved to take more people with him, but he could only manage two.
Already the risk was incredibly high. He would need to protect Zestia and Noir with his aura while doing such a massive leap across the void.
If anything went wrong, they would forever be lost in the infinite void.
Even though the skill’s name was [Journeyman Of Void], he did not have complete authority over that Forbidden Dimension...
So they had to be careful.
When the time of departure came, Noir practically glued herself to his chest, pressing her massive bosom against it.
"Darling~ Darling~ I am ready..."
"This succubus..." Zestia muttered, also wrapping her arms around his waist.
Mrs. Godson and Nina watched this scene with amused smiles.
"Wow brother, that is the way to go. Just make sure they do not suck you dry!" Nina said teasingly.
Mrs. Godson twisted Nina’s ear. "Do not tease your brother. They are going on a very serious journey."
She turned to Neo, offering a worried expression.
"Son, take care of them. You must not let them get hurt, alright?"
Neo could only offer an awkward nod.
He then looked at the three Elven Commanders and Leon.
"Vaelar, Aeliana, Nyxaris, Uncle Leon, please handle everything while I am away. I have instructed Ghost to maintain tight radar detection around the Solar Sector."
"Do not worry, Your Majesty," Vaelar vowed. "I swore on my shield that I will not let any harm befall Zenith and your family."
Uncle Leon added,
"Yeah, go worry-free, boy. Just take care of Zestia for me."
Neo gave him a nod. "Will do."
With his farewells completed, Neo turned his attention toward the vast open sky above Zenith. He took a deep breath, circulating the massive reserves of energy within his body.
"Hold on tight. Do not let go of me under any circumstances. The void is completely unforgiving."
Noir giggled, wrapping her arms even tighter around his neck and pressing her soft curves tight against his back.
"I would not dream of letting go, My Emperor."
Zestia simply nodded, her cheeks slightly flushed, but her grip on his waist was incredibly firm and resolute. She pressed her face against his black Imperial battle suit, bracing herself for the unknown.
Satisfied that they were secure, Neo closed his eyes and locked his mental focus onto the exact coordinates provided by the System.
"Activate [ Journeyman Of Void (S) ]."
[ Skill Activated: Journeyman Of Void. ]
[ Target Coordinates: Sector X-77, Vicinity of the Celestial Fishing River. ]
[ Warning: Distance is too great for a single leap. Two consecutive void tunnels are required. ]
[ Deducting 10,000 Cosmic Force for the first tunnel... ]
Instantly, the space directly in front of them violently shattered like a giant mirror struck by a heavy hammer.
Buzz!
All of a sudden, a massive vortex of absolute darkness materialized before them.
The sheer gravitational pull of the tunnel threatened to rip the very ground beneath them into pieces, but Neo stood firm like an immovable mountain.
He unleashed his immense 2,000 plus Vitality and his Mana Shield, projecting a dense, glowing spherical barrier of pure silver energy that completely enveloped himself, Noir, and Zestia.
"Here we go," Neo declared.
With a single, explosive step, he propelled all three of them directly into the dark abyss.
The sensation of void travel was entirely disorienting. The natural laws of physics, time, and gravity completely ceased to exist.
They saw flashes of distant galaxies and dying stars at impossible speed.
Outside his glowing silver barrier, lethal currents of void storms raged relentlessly, violently scraping against his aura as the void tried to tear their bodies into atomic dust.
Zestia squeezed her eyes shut, her knuckles turning pure white as she clung to him. Noir, despite all her usual arrogant seduction, went completely speechless. Her demonic instincts were screaming at the horrifying danger surrounding them.
Thankfully, her darling was there to protect her. She felt blessed in his embrace.
Seconds felt like entire centuries.
Then, with a ethereal pull, they were expelled from the first tunnel.
They emerged into the cold, dead vacuum of deep space.
Around them, floating asteroids drifted aimlessly, illuminated by the eerie glow of a distant red dwarf star.
Neo did not give them a moment to catch their breath.
The celestial event was already underway, and he could actively feel the terrifying cosmic signatures of countless other powerful beings converging on their final destination.
Cosmic Force: 10,200 /20,200.
A single pathway cost him 10,000 cosmic force. He could perform it one more time, or rest for a few hours to recover his energy.
Finally, he made his choice.
"System. Initiate the second jump."
[ Activating Journeyman Of Void. ]
[ Deducting 10,000 Cosmic Force for the second tunnel... ]
Once again, the fabric of space brutally shattered. Neo launched them into the newly formed vortex, braving the chaotic spatial storms for a second time.
This time, the pressure on his protective barrier intensified greatly, cracking slightly under the overwhelming cosmic friction, but his Primordial Demon Physique aggressively funneled raw power to keep the shield completely intact.
Finally, a blinding, majestic golden light pierced through the absolute darkness of the void tunnel.
They burst out of the spatial rift, leaving the chaotic darkness behind.
The cold vacuum of space was immediately replaced by an incredibly breathtaking heavenly phenomenon.
When their vision finally adjusted, what lay before them completely defied all mortal logic and scientific understanding.
It was not a planet, nor was it a simple star system. It was a literal infinite river flowing endlessly through the cold vacuum of space.
The water itself was not made of liquid. It was a torrential roaring flow of liquefied starlight, raw cosmic force, and shimmering golden threads of universal destiny.
The scale of the phenomenon was unfathomable. It stretched out across millions of miles, winding like a glowing, celestial serpent through the dark cosmos, its source and end completely hidden in the unknown depths of the universe.
