Building Interstellar Empire With Universal Synthesis
Chapter 155: MYRIA
Seeing the majesty and scale of the Celestial River, both Zestia and Noir were speechless.
"Umm, is this really a river, Neo? How are we supposed to do fishing here? Would we not just be lost in eternity by touching those waters, or whatever the hell they are?" Zestia echoed.
Noir smiled beautifully. "My dear Zestia, be patient, will you? There has to be some way. For now, let darling recover his energy, then we will go near there. Oh, look, there are already some guests gathering there."
Zestia and Neo looked ahead and saw clusters of Beyonders, some in groups, some solo, already gathering near the shore.
They were also trying to find ways to catch fish.
Neo, recognizing the urgency, quickly began to absorb Cosmic Force from S-grade Mana stones and other natural resources using Universal Synthesis on his palm.
While his cosmic force was being replenished rapidly, Zestia and Noir stood guard.
"HUMMMMMMMMM!"
All of a sudden, a deep ancient hum echoed.
They looked to the source, only to see a Colossal Warship making its grand entrance.
However, this ship was not a regular Titan Class ship. This one was made of Celestial Ice, shimmering like a fortress of the Frozen Era.
Above the deck, a massive triangular flag was raised high in space.
The symbol it bore was: A Crescent Black Moon.
The symbol alone contained superiority, nobility, and eons of history.
Some of the Beyonders nearby frantically fled from its path.
Others, however, began to gossip.
"Hey, is that not the famous Eternal Ice Fortress from the Dark Moon Empire?" one asked.
"Yeah. I can see that too. But who could be inside?" another asked back.
"Maybe Princess Myria? I heard she had attained the forbidden knowledge of the Past and Future. Maybe she can show us the way around here," a young man said excitedly.
"Princess Myria? Are you out of your damn mind? She would freeze your very soul just for looking at her the wrong way."
"But it is true. I heard she broke through her Ascender rank just a few months ago. Standing at Type 4 Legend rank, her mastery over the Absolute Zero laws is simply terrifying. On top of that, she is also Dominator, how terrifying is that?" a female warrior chimed in awe as the colossal ice warship cast a massive shadow over the glowing pink nebula
Another mercenary said,
"Forget her power. Have you seen her face? They say she is the supreme beauty of the entire Norsemen Galaxy. She is like a true goddess of ice."
"Keep your voices down, you fools. If her Moon Guards hear you, we will all be turned into permanent ice sculptures decorating their hull."
Listening to the distant whispers, Zestia crossed her arms, looking annoyed.
"Dark Moon Empire? They sound terribly arrogant," she scoffed.
Noir laughed a little, "Oh, but the strong always are like them, little Zestia. Still, this Princess Myria sounds like she commands quite the presence. I wonder if she is as beautiful as me."
Neo remained silent amid their bickering, while the S-grade Mana stones in his palms suddenly dissolved with his body.
He them slowly lowered his hands, looking up at the black crescent moon flag waving in the cosmic winds.
Myria.
Just hearing that name caused a unexplainable ripple deep within his chest.
It brought a wave of old memories, and lingering bitterness.
"So, she came as well... But she is not the Moon I know. She is now the untouchable Princess of Dark-Moon Empire. Maybe the future empress as well. She might have completely forgotten there was a person named Neo Godson once inside her heart.
"So, she came as well... But she is not the Moon I know. She is now the untouchable Princess of the Dark Moon Empire. Maybe the future empress as well. She might have completely forgotten there was a person named Neo Godson once inside her heart."
High above the bustling crowds, aboard the Eternal Ice Fortress, the air was perpetually frozen.
Princess Myria stood on the grand balcony of her flagship, her expression as unreadable and perfect as carved glacial glass.
Her long silver-white hair cascaded down her back, like ethereal glow of moonlight.
She looked down upon the chaotic gathering of Beyonders near the nebulous shores of the Celestial River with absolute indifference. To her, they were nothing more than noisy insects clamoring for treasures they could barely comprehend.
"Princess, we have secured a prime docking point," her lead Moon Guard reported, kneeling respectfully on the frosted deck behind her.
Myria replied in her cold and melodious tone, "Good. Ensure no one approaches within a hundred miles of our vessel."
As the guard bowed and retreated, Myria allowed her gaze to wander across the glowing pink and violet clouds below. Her eyes, pale and luminous like twin moons, scanned the scattered crowds with detached observation.
Then, her gaze suddenly froze.
In a quiet isolated spot far away from the noisy groups, stood a young man with void like eyes and a strong aura of suppressed power.
He was flanked by two striking women, but Myria did not even register their presence.
Her entire world narrowed down to that single face.
Neo Godson.
Something throbbed inside her chest.
It was a sensation she had not felt in months.
The Absolute Zero domain that constantly protected her heart wavered for a second.
He was here.
The Tyrant of the future. The man who once occupied her future heart.
"We meet again, Neo Godson. Even though the timeline has changed, and you never walked the path that led you to become that ruthless tyrant, you’ve still managed to come this far.
Was it because of that One Core?
Or was it simply your unyielding will?
Whatever the reason, it no longer matters.
You and I are enemies now.
We are Dominators.
We are conquerors destined to seize the Infinite Universe.
In the end, only one Dominator can claim the Heaven’s Mandate and stand above all creation.
And that Dominator... will be me.
Everyone else, including you, must fall."
