No one had been able to take ownership of this conduit for many years until Marvin came into contact with it. Marvin met the requirement to use the conduit. This allowed him to begin his journey towards immortality. The journey begins from transcending the first mortal coil at Body Forging to transcending the second at Energy Gathering, passing through the subsequent mortal coils, and hopefully to becoming a true immortal with eternal life.But the conduit is far more useful than helping a dying business tycoon gain another lease at life. It is also a conduit of great power. This power and many more will be his as long as he continues to sit on his mountain and grows the mountain into a colossus. The mountain will bring him to greater heights and greater power. This is the story of the Mountain Sitting Immortal.

An alien race invaded the Earth on June 6, 2128. At the midst of this war, many nations allied with the alien threat and the war nearly wiped out the rebelling humans of the planet. At the edge of mankind's survival, the United Nations Army launched its forces to eliminate the immediate stellar threats that loomed over Earth.

General Seeker Carlean, commander and leader of the mission, risked and gave his life to destroy the immediate stellar threat. The battle was won though Earth lay in ruins. Perhaps mankind will live to see a few years of peace before the alien threat returns to wipe out their existence.

At the immediate aftermath of the stellar battle, the fallen Seeker Carlean awakens and finds himself at aged 17, living the peaceful life he lived 16 years before he died.

So begins a new game in the battle for humanity's survival.

On that day, the fog blocked everything.

On that day, he became the captain of a ghost ship.

On that day, he stepped through the thick fog and confronted a completely subverted and fragmented world—the old order had vanished, strange phenomonoms dominated the endless seas beyond civilized society, and isolated island city-states and fleets of ships challenged the sea that had become the last ember of lights for the civilized world. All of this while the shadows of the old days were still stirring in the deep sea, waiting to to devour this world that was about to die.
