Book Of The Dead - Chapter B2 C3 - Fall

A number of university students are given a simple survey in which they must watch a number of short films and rank them in order of preference. The reader takes the survey along with them with the short films being told as short stories.

Jay was merely a butcher, living in a small village on the outskirts of a magical world. When humans came of age, they would receive their class from a mana conduit, and begin their lives as adventurers.

“...I'm a Necromancer?!” he was shocked. Looking around in fear, he was glad no one heard him.
In this world, this was a monster class - and one of the more powerful monsters at that.
Jay knew he would be hunted down and killed on sight - he was not just a threat to the authority of the nobles, but to all living things.

Jay now had only one option - to get stronger; building his necrotic powers up so that he may one day become untouchable.
Through plotting, secrecy, and sometimes by sheer carnage, he can only attempt to survive in this hostile world.

My name was Yuan Junyao, a name my grandmother gave me, meaning “beautiful jade”, although I was not beautiful at all. Actually I was ugly.

I tried to find a new job and happened to know about live streaming. I clicked on it and a man was live streaming in an old ghost-haunted house. The ambience was terrifying.

I followed him online and he didn’t see a real ghost even by the end of the stream. But the ambience was so real it spooked the audience. So he had many watchers who sent him lots of gifts while they watched. I was a little inspired by the idea. Nobody wanted to see the face of the host of a ghost live streaming, which suited me very well…
