Demon Slayer: Rise of The First Werewolf
Chapter 175: Arrogance Vs Arrogance
The full moon went by, the twins and Sanchez turned as well. Just like her parents, Annie made them Beta.
This of course aroused the envy of the other werewolves with the exception of those like Sam who didn’t care much about anything.
Sanchez was directly turned into a Gemma by Adrian, this made her and Amanda the only Gemma amongst the main lineage.
Annie had the twins spend another day with the pack, she wanted to awaken their esper and have them train their abilities.
Adrian assisted with the training, Sanchez joined them as well. As a Gemma she had two abilities.
The first was a weapon type ability which was quite common, it was the second ability that took everybody by suprise.
She awakened an ability that made even Adrian envious. Body splitting, Sanchez could separate her body into three parts.
Each with 1/3 of her power and each able to use her weapon which was a whip made of lunar esper.
What made this ability so impressive was the fact that she wasn’t creating clones but splitting her body.
Each body was her real self and to kill her, you would need to kill all three bodies unless of course the ability wasn’t active.
By the end of the day, all three of them had largely figured out how to use their abilities so the twins left with their parents.
Sanchez also chose to go back to Legos, Adrian gave her a ring and told her to keep a low profile.
If she wants to come here she should make sure nobody was watching her, he didn’t want her leading his enemies to them as of yet.
She nodded and left the black market back to Legos. Her plan was to resume her work, with her new strength.
She figured she could solve more cases, help more people. Adrian didn’t stop her, as long as she doesn’t bring back trouble, he didn’t care what she did with her time.
Just like that, two days went by, during those two days, the guild continued receiving missions but none related to this new thing.
That was until near the end of the second day. A group of people walked into the guild led by a young man.
The man had twisting red horns and folded dragon wings behind him. His presence made all the mercenaries stand up.
Behind him was entourage of servants following behind catering to his every demand.
Adrian went upstairs and watched everything through a computer. The man stopped in front of the receptionist.
" Hello, how many I help you?" She asked with her usual smile but things did not go as usual.
" HOW DARE YOU ADDRESS THE YOUNG MASTER DIRECTLY!" A lizard looking man shouted.
He was a three metres tall humanoid lizard that had some dragonish features. He was from a race known as Drallagal.
Drallagal were part of the Dragonals, those races with the blood of dragons. They were strong.
Even the weakest of them were equal to a baron, the strongest were even as powerful as a count.
Adrian expected the receptionist to flip out but she continued smiling. For a werewolf to not immediately attack in this situation was impressive control.
" I would request the guest refrain from shouting inside the guild, if you continue, we’ll be forced to kick you out."
Her voice was soft and calm but the mercenaries could sense the storm brewing inside her.
They all knew she was a level 4 Fayera, while they didn’t know her race, they suspected she was from a physically powerful race.
They were right, werewolves can be compared to Dragonewt in terms of pure physical strength.
Dragonewt were the highest members of the Dragonals. This Drallagal was nothing in comparison.
At least not on the same level and grade, unfortunately this guy was at level 5 and stronger than her.
" Kick me out, I’ll like to see you try." He growled, then clenched his fist and attacked.
BOOOOOM, the air shattered in front of him assaulting the receptionist like a tsunami. Everybody froze, they had not expected him to attack.
Suddenly his fist slowed down and so did the wind it generated. He felt like he was punching through thick mud.
Then two magic circles lit up on the roof and floor of the first floor of the guild. This development caught even Adrian by surprise.
’ When did she draw these ones?’ he wondered. He had seen this magic circle before, after all he was the one to test its power.
Upon closer look, he noticed the two circles were slightly different. They had been altered by her.
In a blink of an eye the Drallagal found himself unable to move. ’ I see, she changed the trapping circles to immobilisation circles.’
He wasn’t sure if she really altered the magic circles herself or just used another magic circle he didn’t know about.
But one thing he did know, what was used to draw these circles was his own blood and surely there were other things to complete the ritual.
He might not be knowledgeable about occult magic but he can recognise ritual magic when he sees one.
There were pillars inside the guild, he figured those pillars had the other material used to cast the ritual spell inside them.
Considering the positions of the pillars had changed, he was positive she had used them to hide those material.
Annie appeared through the computer screen, walking gracefully towards the counter.
" I don’t appreciate people attacking my staff, if you do that again, I’ll to ask you to leave."
The Drallagal tried to struggle himself free but it didn’t work. The only part of his body that can move were his eyes.
Annie turned towards the mercenaries present and her gaze turned cold. " And you lot, a woman is attacked in front of you and you just sit there."
Meeting her gaze the mercenaries looked down with shame. She turned towards the new party.
She ignored the struggling Drallagal and looked at the Dragonewt. " How may I help the young master of the Dragonewt?"
Unlike the receptionist there was no smile on her face, everybody could tell she didn’t have a good impression of them.
" Let my subordinate go now." The Dragonewt finally opened his mouth and his voice was filled with nothing but arrogance.
As soon as those words came out, Annie turned around ignoring them, " You can see yourselves out."
This caught him by suprise, nobody had ever spoke to him like that before. So he just froze and watched her go.

In the human world, Athanathi’s friend went to meet up with her brother.
" Guess what? I found the perfect girl for you, big brother Cyrus."
