Chapter 176: Chapter 176: Dragonals

Dra’all was confused at first, as a young master of the Dragonewt race, he has been treated like royalty everywhere he went.

Everybody did all they could to earn his favour, this type of treatment was not something he has ever experienced before.

Then his rage got the better of him. " How dare you?" He growled. A ball of fire the size of a fist appeared on his palm.

The temperature inside the guild spiked, the mercenaries backed off, some couldn’t handle the heat and started sweating.

Annie turned her head and looked at him but there was no fear in her eyes. This angered him even more.

" DIE!" He roared, BOOOOOM, the entire guild shook. A wave of dust spread out covering the entire room.

When the dust cleared a sight none had expected appeared. The arrogant young master laid flat on the floor.

A foot was pressed against the back of his head. The Drallagal next to the young master moved. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

Just as he raised his fist, he met silver eyes like glowing moons. He froze, a fear he couldn’t comprehend gripped his heart.

" It’s okay sweetie, you can let him go." Annie spoke. Adrian looked down at the Dragonewt beneath his foot with disdain.

" If you ever try to touch my woman again, I’ll make sure that’s the last thing you ever do in your worthless life."

Dra’all gritted his teeth, he tried to struggle but it was as if as mountain was pressed against the back of his head.

For the first time he felt fear, something told him this guy meant what he said and he would really kill him.

" I..I am.." boom, he tried to speak, to use his status to threaten him but instead he just had his head pressed on the floor even harder.

" Say one more thing." A cold voice reached his ears making his body shake with fear. He didn’t dare utter a single word.

Adrian lifted his foot and disappeared, Annie looked at them but said nothing. She turned around and walked off.

The Dragonals party picked up their young master and basically ran out the door leaving the mercenaries dumbfounded.

" That was the guild master? He’s much stronger than I expected." One guy whispered but everybody heard him.

" So cool, did you hear when he said, If you ever touch my woman again, I’ll make sure it’s the last thing you do.

That was so cool, if only I could have a man like that, you think the guild master is looking for a concubine."

A woman asked causing the man next to her to spit his drink. " Hey you’re a married woman you know?"

" Oh please, you think I wouldn’t leave you for the guild master?" She asked.

The man shrugged, " I guess you’re right, I mean if the vice guild master asked me to be her man.."

" Huh? What’d you say?" She stood up and pulled up her sleeves.

" I dare you to say that again." She growled.

He didn’t dare and just whistled, the other mercenaries laughed. This was common with those two, they always argued.

Upstairs, Annie laid in Adrian’s arms, " Do you think that was a good idea?" She asked.

" Now, we’ll probably be enemies with the Dragonals as well." She sighed.

" I wasn’t going to let him disrespect you, nobody disrespect my girl."

That warned her heart, " Thank you, I guess we’re fighting them too now. There’s also the possibility of somebody recognising you.

If that happens, it will draw much more attention than we can handle right now, as strong as you are, you’re not ready to deal with those old races."

" I know, don’t worry, it will be fine, we’ll pull through, we always do."

------------------------------------------

Dra’all went back home fuming. The first thing he did was go to his older brother and sister.

Dra’all was the youngest of four siblings, three boys and one girl. His older sister raised her eyebrow.

" You’re back early, was your mission a success? Can they protect older brother?" She asked.

Dra’all gritted his teeth, " Those..those bastards, they refused to take the mission and attacked me instead.

Big sister, get big brother now and we’ll go teach them a lesson." His sister just sighed and stroked one of her horns.

" You go rest, I’ll go talk to father." She left him standing there. Dra’all felt even angrier at her reaction.

He wanted her to be furious on his behalf and teach that arrogant fool a lesson he’d never forget.

Dra’Sul did not go her father, instead she went to her older brother, the second born amongst the four.

He was sitting outside a massive pure iron safe with runes drawn all over it. Inside the safe they could hear roars.

Every now and then the safe would shake as if hit by a powerful force. " It’s getting worse sister."

He spoke without even looking at her. Dra’Sul took a bucket of water and threw the water over the safe.

Tiny white crystals could be seen all over the safe. This was salt, using it they were able to slow down the symptoms.

" How long has it been?" She asked. He turned and looked at her.

" 58 hours, he only has 14 hours left, if we don’t find him help then.." he didn’t dare finish.

She sighed, " Are we sure even dad can’t deal with those things? How about the witches or the church?"

He shook his head, " You know there’s nothing that hasn’t been tried yet, the Grieved cannot be stopped.

That guild is the first to intimidate a Grieved Soul, they must have something that can threaten them or perhaps stop them from entering.

So how did that foolish young brother of ours do? Did he manage to convince the guild to provide refuge for our brother?"

She shook her head, " I told you it was a bad idea to send him, he’s exactly like big brother, he’s too arrogant and impulsive.

He said they just attacked him but I know he was the one to start it." She sighed, " We will need to go there ourselves."

He nodded, " Let’s go right now, we don’t have much time, also bring that stupid boy to apologise."
