["This is not happening!"] Logan said as he watched the family inside being tortured to speak. The boy screamed and cried while the parents struggled to break free from their restraints and save their child but there was nothing that they could do.

Leo and Logan watched, trying hard not to show emotions or anything that would lead the man beside them to suspect that they were but the same as him. They had been told before of how he put silver in the water that the commissioner drank to be sure that he was human. If he was suspicious of the commissioner, he could be suspicious of them too.

["We have to face them,"] Logan said again. The anger he felt could be heard from his voice and Leo could understand just how much he was holding himself back. He is as angry as him but they both have to find some other way to get in there and save their own without exposing themselves.

["Calm down, Logan, we have to be careful too, so t forget where we are,"] Leo said trying to calm him down. He also felt the pain of seeing the pup being tortured like that. He wanted to rush in there and get him out but he had to remember where they were and who had sent them. If they fail, they would just be endangering themselves, they would also let the organization know that Darren was indeed the Alpha supreme that they are so looking forward to killing. They could allow that.

As shifters, their loyalty was to their leaders. Obeying his every command and making sure he was safe enough to protect them all. Hus and presence alone were enough to strengthen even the weakest one of them to head into battle without fear. ["We will find a way,"]

They looked at Jared who was looking at them through their little reflection on the glass wall, he offered a lie to them which they did not react to but looked ahead. This was harder than it looked and he knew that.

Knowing how possessing the shifters were, he was waiting to see how long the two would be able to stand seeing their own tortured like that. If they insist on leaving, the would be a partial confirmation but if they ask to free the family even the child, he wouldn’t need another reason to believe what they were.

Being a child who had just shifted for the first time, his healing ability was so strong si even after he was left for a few minutes to recover, he still bled. The urge to ball their fists and strike Jared’s head was a strong that their hands became itchy and palms sweating. Not from fear but anger.

"It appears they know nothing, Mr. Wills," Leo said calling to his attention and the man turned to look at him with a nod. He studied the calmness in his tone and exuded that they were indeed all humans, except the family being tortured in here.

It has gone on for long enough if they knew, they would have at least said something useful to make the people inside come to him to tell what they had said. "It appears so," he agreed, giving a glance at Logan.

"Didn’t mind him, he has a soft spot for children, seeing one like this... I just couldn’t help it. He hates abuse the most, especially child abuse, you understand how he feels, right?" Leo said and Jared gave a half smile.

Unlike Leo, Logan didn’t look happy about it. Being a lover of children and a hater of abuse, it must have been quite difficult to watch. Jared thought. The two didn’t give him a reason to suspect them, and the reason given was logical. Logan must have held himself back because he remembered that the child was not human.

"I am sorry if that made you uncomfortable," Jared apologized and started walking away from that room. That was enough of a test for them.

Taking silent deep breaths which he released slowly to reduce the rate at which his heart pounded, he influenced his fists. "That is alright, I understand your reason for doing this, though I still think it’s cruel, but it is necessary to end all of these," He tried and felt like killing himself for the words that he had just spoken.

Leo wanted to oat him on the back for his calm reply but he didn’t because Jared was still around and. they were surrounded by cameras that would capture whatever they did.

Silently the follower Jared until the entrance door came into view. Inwardly, they sighed in relief, while they frowned on the outside asking for the reason he had led out.

"Thank you and the Minister for taking your time out to visit us here, I am grateful and would appreciate any help that will be offered," he said but they remained silent waiting for him to tell them. why he was escorting them out.

"I still have a lot to do and I believe you do too. I ain’t be able to accompany you for the rest of the night so one of my soldiers will escort you to your hotel, I hope I don’t come as rude for this," he said looking apologetic. Duty calls and he had to go, they should understand, too were a busy pair.

"No, not at all," Logan said stretching his hand for a handshake, "This was quite an experience, a tour I never thought I would have in this lifetime, it will forever be remembered," he said. Only he and Leo knew that it was as he had said it, they would never forget it and would make sure to replay him for that.

Jared chuckled at his words. "It was a pleasure to have you here," he said and turned towards the door where he heard footsteps approaching. They let go of each other’s hand and started at the soldiers coming towards them. "They are the ones to show to your hotel, gentlemen," he informed.

"We shall take our leave then," Leo said and they started walking towards the men even beforethey reachedh them.
