Flash Marriage: My Penniless Billionaire Husband
Chapter 86: I Don’t Want To Hurt Janice
Janice agreed. She didn’t know how to cook, and Christopher was too busy. It wouldn’t be good if they kept like this.
She said, "Then I’ll go to the housekeeper market tomorrow."
Christopher said, "No need. I’ll ask Rob to do it. You just tell me what kind of food you want to eat."
Janice asked, "Can I make such choice?"
"Of course."
Christopher said.
"Then I want her to be omnipotent. I can change my taste every day."
Janice said.
Christopher said, "Okay, I’ll ask Rob to find according to your wishes."
He then got up.
Janice remembered Benjamin’s words then she pressed the pause button and asked, "By the way, I have something to ask you."
Christopher stopped and turned around. "What?"
"Do you know why my reporters’ certificate was revoked?" Janice asked.
Christopher was slightly surprised. He stared at her, wondering if she had already known or just asked him. He felt inexplicably guilty.
"Why do you ask?"
Janice wouldn’t say that was because Benjamin who asked her to ask. She said, "Well, I just thought that you said you would get someone to deal with it. I thought you knew the reason."
Christopher’s eyes darkened. He didn’t want Janice to know about this.
After all, it was a great harm to her.
Seeing that he had no respond, Janice frowned, "What’s wrong? Is it hard to say?"
Christopher shook his head. He stared at her and said, "No matter what the reason is, I will let Rob handle it as soon as possible."
"But..." Janice was about to say something while the doorbell suddenly rang. Christopher interrupted, "The takeout is here. I’ll get it." As he spoke, he walked towards the door. Janice could only swallow the words.
When Christopher brought back the takeout, she continued.
"But, I still want to know why my reporter’s certificate was revoked for no reason."
Hearing her question, Christopher said, "Let’s talk about this later. Eat comes first."
Since Christopher had said so, it was not appropriate for Janice to continue asking.
"All right then."
She blinked her eyes and stared at the food which was quite exquisite, and her appetite was immediately aroused.
"Where did you buy it? It looks delicious."
She looked like a greedy cat.
Christopher chuckled, "If you like it, I can ask them to send frequently."
Janice shook her head while saying, "Forget it. You say that you’d like to hire a housekeeper. I’d better look forward to housekeeper’s cooking."
Christopher put the food on the plate and then he said, "You shall eat first. I’m going to take a shower."
Janice said, "Then I’ll wait for you."
"No need, I’ve eaten it."
Christopher walked up the stairs.
Janice glanced at the sumptuous meal on the table, which she couldn’t finish on her own.
Christopher went upstairs and called Rob.
"Take care of the reporters’ certificate as soon as possible. Tell those people to keep their mouths shut. Also, find a housekeeper with good cooking skills."
"Yes."
Christopher put away his phone and narrowed his eyes. No matter what, he didn’t want to hurt Janice.
Not even a little bit.
Janice, who was downstairs, was eating happily. In the end, she felt that it was a waste to have so much left.
She planned to put these leftovers in the refrigerator. Therefore when she was hungry, they could still be her snacks.
When Christopher came down from upstairs and saw her putting something in the fridge, he walked over and asked.
"What are you doing?"
...
Janice said, "Oh, it’s a waste to throw them away. I just want to put them in the refrigerator and maybe they can be snacks.
Christopher chuckled, "Just leftovers. You don’t have to save it for your husband."
However, Janice said, "I know you are rich, but you also make great efforts to earn the money. Besides, being frugal is our traditional virtue."
As she spoke, she continued to place the leftovers in the fridge. Christopher stood there and watched, suddenly feeling very moved.
Although he knew Janice was very simple and honest, he was still moved by her words.
She was a good wife who was worthy of his love.
He couldn’t help stepping forward and hugging her from behind.
As soon as Janice put the things away, she was held in Christopher’s arms.
His chin was pressed against her shoulder, and the warm breath blew into her ear. It was as if there were feathers scratching on her heart, making her itch.
It seemed that some desire had been aroused.
Janice couldn’t help but blush.
The man, who had just taken a shower, still gave off a pleasant smell. Hormones made her a little absent- minded. Her heart beat faster, and she unconsciously swallowed a mouthful of saliva.
"That... Christopher, I..."
Before she could finish her sentence, a warm kiss had fallen behind her ear. The warm and humid touch made Janice shiver unconsciously.
"Janice..."
He called out in a low and seductive voice.
Janice felt as if her whole body was numb.
The kiss was still going on, gradually stirring up the fire in her body.
She closed her eyes unconsciously, and her breathing became heavier and heavier.
It wasn’t until the kiss fell on her lips that she reached out and hooked her arms around his neck.
The temperature in the room was rising and seemed to reach the boiling point.
Janice also forgot to be nervous and scared.
Soon, she was lost in his gentle and seductive kiss.
She was gently carried up him. They went upstairs, went into the bedroom, and lay on the bed. He took off her clothes. She gradually realized that something was about to happen.
The nervous mood once again occupied her mind. Janice slowly opened her eyes and touched Christopher who was right in front of her. She pursed her lips and said, "Christopher, I’m scared..."
Christopher looked into her eyes, which looked a little pitiful.
His heart softened. He gently kissed her forehead to comfort her.
"Honey, don’t be afraid."
Although he said so, Janice still felt a little nervous.
She tightly grabbed the hem of his shirt.
She knew that she shouldn’t be like this.
But she couldn’t help but feel scared.
If she had known earlier, she would not have done those damn interviews, which left a psychological shadow on her heart.
Boohoo...
What should she do?
Janice was filled with regret.
Christopher felt a little uncomfortable to see her frightened expression. Although he would be much uncomfortable if he stopped now.
he still couldn’t bear to see Janice being so scared.
Finally, he restrained himself and kissed her on the forehead. When he was about to get up and leave, his arms were held by hers.
Christopher turned around and met Janice’s shy eyes.
She bit her lips tightly, and the hot temperature of her palm passed on his arm. Her lips moved soundlessly.
She knew that this was too unfair to Christopher, so she might as well grit her teeth to complete this thing.
Many women must have the same experience.
She silently persuaded herself and stared at him with her big wet eyes.
"You... don’t go."
...
After saying this, she almost used up all her courage.
Christopher stared at her red cheeks, turned around, and rolled his Adam’s apple.
"You... you should be gentle."
Then she covered her hot face with the quilt, not letting him see her embarrassment.
Christopher chuckled and turned off the light.
Suddenly, the room was dark.
A few moments later, a cry broke through the dark night.
"Boohoo, you liar, get out..."
"Okay. Stop crying. I’ll go out right away."
The light was suddenly turned on, and the room was bright again.
Upon hearing her crying, he couldn’t bear to continue.
Although there was only one step away, he still stopped.
He then got up, put on his clothes, got out of bed, and walked out of the door.
Janice buried her face in the quilt. After sobbing for a few minutes, she gradually revealed half of her face.
What should she do? She couldn’t hold it back even she had forced herself to hold it back. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Too painful. She had been afraid of pain since she was a child.
<What a shame!
How was she going to face him in the future?>
Thinking of this, Janice’s eyes turned red again. She quickly put on her clothes and locked the door of the room.
Christopher came out of the bathroom, only to find that the bedroom was locked from the inside. He knocked on the door for a while, but Janice didn’t come to open it. Then he said, "Janice, open the door. Good girl, I promise I won’t touch you."
Janice covered herself under the quilt, trying to hide her embarrassment. She didn’t want to see Christopher at this time.
"You... You’d better go to the guest room tonight."
After that, she wrapped herself tightly in the quilt.
Christopher stood outside the door and coaxed her for a long time, but she didn’t
open the door for him. There was nothing he could do.
He had no experience in this kind of thing either, so he did not know how to do.
Later, he went to the guest room with a frown.
However, he couldn’t fall asleep at all. In this case, he wouldn’t be at ease to let her stay inside alone.
Then he got up and went out.
At this time, Janice was hiding in the quilt and texting to Yvonne.
"Yvonne, what should I do? It hurts so much. I can’t help it."
Yvonne sent a few question marks at first and then she seemed to realize what Janice was talking about and sent a "puff" emoji.
"Janice, you’re really a funny guy. Wait, I have something good for you."
A few moments later, Yvonne sent another message to her. "I’ve sent you something online. Turn on your computer and have a look."
"What?" Janice asked.
Yvonne sent a grin emoji. "Of course it’s a good thing."
"Good thing?"
Janice was a little suspicious. She turned on the computer, and opened the net.
There was indeed something new inside. She clicked on it.
The next second, she quickly turned off the computer.
"What the hell. Why did Yvonne make it clear that it was that kind of film?"
Just as Janice was in a state of shock, Christopher knocked on the door again.
"Janice, open the door."
When Janice heard his voice, she was so frightened that she quickly turned off the computer.
"What... what are you doing?"
"Let me in, I promise I won’t touch you anymore."
Christopher promised from outside the door.
Janice bit her lips. She was still embarrassed at this moment. She knew herself well that she would be even more embarrassed if she saw him.
"You... you’d better sleep in the guest room."
