"Ladies and gentlemen. We are well aware that you are all busy, and we are sorry for the emergency call of a meeting," Guild Leader Dawnseer said. "But it was necessary, considering what you are all about to witness."

Everyone knew from her tone that whatever she was about to show them was serious. The moment she spoke, a large holographic screen appeared in the hall for everyone to see. The screen revealed several chaotic beasts heading out of the western mountain range of the city. The western mountain range of the city was the part of the city that connected directly with the Castellan District.

Everyone knew what this meant. As some of them expected, the Castellan District of Richtchard City was about to experience a chaotic beast tide.

Dawnseer’s eyes scanned several in the hall. She continued, "As some of you already guessed, yes. The Castellan District is about to experience a beast horde. And we need the help of everyone to keep the district safe. We will be working together with the Law Enforcement Agency and the mercenary groups in the district to deal with the chaotic beast horde."

She added, "Of course, we are not telling anyone to risk their lives for free. This can be considered as a mission from the guild. Depending on the number of chaotic beasts each person is able to deal with, they will be awarded a certain number of contribution points by the guild. The usual contribution points awarded for the kill of a particular chaotic beast will be multiplied by two. If you manage to do extremely well, you can even replace those on the premium ranking list with your contribution points. Those on the premium ranking list can also climb higher on the rankings."

Several glints of greed flashed through several eyes. This was a very great opportunity.

At the moment, at the front seats, several people in the premium ranking were gathered, seated. Most of them were members of the top 50 of the premium ranking list. They were all very strong among rank 2 novice-stage transcendents.

"It seems I need to do my best to maintain my rank," the first person on the rankings, a white-haired vampire who had the Principle of Darkness, thought. Although they were all among the cream of the crop among rank 2 novice-stage transcendents in the guild, this fellow had completed more high-level difficulty missions than them. However, they could attempt to bridge the gap through this chaotic beast tide.

At the back of the hall, where Kailen was seated, Nyxin and Westeria looked at each other.

"This is an opportunity we can’t pass up."

"Indeed. But I’m afraid trying to overtake the top 20 won’t be easy. We can only aim for the top 30 on the premium ranking list."

"Mmm."

Kailen was quiet in thought. "It seems this is the perfect opportunity to get on the premium ranking list. The top ten on the ranking list, including the first person on the ranking list, turned out to be at the rank 2 novice-stage transcendent level."

He tapped his thigh gently. He decided. "Getting in the top ten will be quite difficult. Looks like I should aim for the top 20 then. I can take on some missions later and earn more contribution points to climb the rankings. I can also hunt for more chaotic beasts with the Principle of Space in the future to get principle fragments to increase my strength."

Dawnseer added, her tone more serious, "One last thing. We advise no one tries to eliminate another guild member."

Her words sunk in. Several harboring such thoughts against one another, and some of those on the premium ranking list who wanted to kill those of higher ranks so that they could easily scale the ranks, advised themselves against it. This woman and the guild higher-ups had really taken all this into consideration. Damn! Several thought.

Kailen nodded. He expected nothing less from the guild leader. Someone who could lead a guild was not stupid.

Dawnseer added, "Grudges can be settled after the beast tide is quelled. Of course, none of these grudges can also be settled on guild premises. Let’s move out, ladies and gentlemen."

After her words, everyone left the guild premises. The guild members numbered 2,000. Very soon, they arrived at the edge of the Northern mountain range. Everyone stared at the approaching horde. The numbers were staggering.
