From what the bandit’s know, the Volcanic Wyrm was an extremely territorial beast that would hunt even the smallest animal that dared to linger on its large territory. It was also extremely sensitive to the earth’s movement and could easily locate the intruders and ambush them from the ground.

The reason why the leader did not dare to confront it was due to the Volcanic Wyrm’s extreme and cruel behavior. The only way to avoid its pursuit when one entered its territory was to get out of it as quickly as possible.

The loud explosion made them realize that the Volcanic Wyrm might have defeated Miguel at this moment.

This was the first time that Aaliyah gained experience points. And the reward provided by the world’s will was more bountiful than the previous times Miguel had experience.

Of course, this also directly meant that the battle earlier was super dangerous.

Even though Aaliyah was a grade higher than the Volcanic Wyrm, the Volcanic Wyrm was already a Level 4 Beast while Aaliyah was only at Level 1 at the moment. It was due to this fact that the Volcanic Wyrm was enraged after sensing Aaliyah’s strength out of its grade.

Normally, the Volcanic Wyrm who was three levels higher compared to Aaliyah, should have won the battle earlier even with the difference in grade. One must note that the higher the level, the greater the difference in power. Level 4 was also like a threshold that most of the beast could not level up to on their lifetime.

The only reason why Aaliyah and Miguel managed to defeat was due to their combined effort of Aaliyah’s overpowered Innate Skill, [Incinerate], and Miguel’s Innate Skill that allowed him to see through the Volcanic Wyrm’s weakness.

And Aaliyah may be lower in level compared to the Volcanic Wyrm, however, her skills and talent were clearly superior to the Volcanic Wyrm.

Jumping levels were pretty common the higher the grade was.

Coupled with Miguel’s flawless order and Aaliyah’s precise execution, how could they not defeat the Volcanic Wyrm who was only 3 levels higher?

Perhaps, the result won’t be the same if they were fighting a Level 4 Gold Grade Beast, unfortunately, the Volcanic Wyrm was only a Silver Grade and it could not contend with these two monsters at all.

Standing in front of the massive carcass, Miguel did not know what to do with it when Aaliyah suddenly suggested something.

"I can actually craft something using my fire. I was also a blacksmith in my previous life," she stated with her soft voice.

Miguel was surprised by her words.

"Really? Then can you make me a sword out of this Volcanic Wyrm’s horns?"

Aside from the hard scales, Miguel noted that the horns were the most valuable part out of the Volcanic Wyrm.

The horns were actually pretty tough. Even with Aaliyah’s [Incinerate] only the outer part of it was slightly corroded. In terms of durability, it was even more durable than his absolute shield at this moment.

If this was made into a sword, it would surely become a Silver Grade Sword at the least, much more stronger than the dagger and the sword he got from Marcel previously.

Aaliyah nodded her head shyly.

"But, I don’t have any smithing equipment at this moment so I could only craft a crude one, are you okay with that?"

Miguel nodded his head as he did not mind it a bit. He would not be the main fighting force anyways and he would only use it during crucial times, or when Aaliyah doesn’t have to take action.

Aaliyah nodded her head as she walked towards the Volcanic Wyrm’s head.

As this was the territory of the Volcanic Wyrm, no beast dared to set foot on this area. Miguel and Aaliyah only moved the carcass a few meters away from where the battle had occurred and ruled it as safe.

As the Volcanic Wyrm had only died today, no beasts should dare to set foot on its territory for the time being.

Miguel and Aaliyah found a safe spot as Aaliyah began to forge Miguel’s sword. As there were two horns, Miguel requested Aaliyah to craft a crude knife out of the other one for now, wanting to use it to dissect the Volcanic Wyrm.

When they stayed at Red Cliff City before, Miguel actually found a book that mentioned all the possible useful parts of a beast. Using that as a foundation, he began to dissect the Volcanic Wyrm’s carcass carefully as Aaliyah began forging his sword made out of the Volcanic Wyrm’s horns.
