I Reincarnated as The Protagonist's Best Friend
Chapter 77: Blossoming Love(For Real This Time)
At night of the same day, Quash and Gabriella lay on the bed, hugging each other. Gabriella hugged Quash from his left side. The room still bore the marks of their long-lasting passion.
The heat of their encounter was still lingering in the air.
Gabriella had her eyes closed. She was resting, drawing in small breaths. No matter how strong she was, this was still her first time. And pleasure from a physical encounter wasn’t something either her mind or body was trained for. But she still held on for a long while.
Quash, on the other hand, enjoyed this thoroughly. Though he was careful with her since this was her first time. No matter how intoxicating the feeling of her body was, he won’t do anything to hurt her.
They both enjoyed each other without a doubt. Quash was still buried deep inside her, neither of them wanting to let go of the feeling. Quash wanted to have a go once again since he had recovered, but held himself back.
He had already conquered her completely. Extreme? Maybe. But who cares as long as the couple agrees. Gabriella did without any hidden intentions, because she was curious about how it would feel to explore everything. And she had no complaints.
A smug smile involuntarily formed on Quash’s face. He slicked back his hair, looking at the ceiling, feeling incredible. He had bragged about seeing heaven, mountains, and valleys in the morning, and hours later, he set out to conquer them.
He was the first and would be the last person to do that.
"Aw, aw, aw, aw, aw! Wha— what are you doing!?"
Quash jolted from his stupor when Gabriella pinched his nipple. He looked down and found her cutely glaring at him, slightly pouting. Her head rested on his shoulder.
"You’re thinking too loud. Dummy."
"You can feel it?"
"Of course I can! You’ve been instinctively feeling my emotions as well, but you labeled it as you reading my expressions. Dummy!"
She said cutely. Her cold Vampire Princess poker face had cracked; she showed more emotions on her face now.
Quash felt that she was right. He had noticed changes by the second round, but he was too busy enjoying her. She was too. She can tell only now because they have stopped.
Which they didn’t throughout the day.
Quash felt her emotions. She was feeling shy and vulnerable. Making him want to hug her tight and never let go. Which he did.
He wrapped his arm around her and rested her on top of his chest, her bare breasts pressing against him. Making his member inside her wake up again.
She moaned slightly when she felt his girth expand inside her. But they didn’t start another round and just lay there, enjoying each other’s warmth. Both relishing the feeling of their encounter.
"Hey Gabby, does this Spiritual Bond have any stages?"
Quash asked something that had been on his mind for a while. The effect of the bond was marvelous to him. They could feel each other better the more they trusted each other?
"You think the Bond is some kind of game mechanics?"
Gabriella said, her usual expression returning. She tried to hide it, but now that they were connected, he could tell that she was trying to hide her embarrassment for showing such a side to him. Quash didn’t comment on either her question or her state.
"There’s no stage which unlocks new features. The bond depends on emotions, dependency, familiarity, time spent together, the love for each other, and many more factors. Not one."
But she continued regardless and answered his question. He started to think about it, and seeing him in deep thought, Gabriella went quiet as well. He put her head back on his chest and continued hearing his calm heartbeat. She felt safe in his embrace for some reason. Even though she was stronger, she felt that if he was around, she didn’t need to fear anything.
’Is this love?’
She thought to herself. She had always wondered what love was. Why were people so crazy to find it? She may have started to understand now a bit. The feeling was vague and messy. She herself can’t understand why she is feeling that way, but she doesn’t hate it at all.
The couple stayed like that for a long while before Gabriella sat up. Her face heating up in the process because she could feel Quash getting bigger inside her once again. She rested her hands on his chest and looked into his eyes.
He looked back into her eyes. Both getting lost in each other before Gabriella snapped out of it. She sat straight, looked down, and gently rubbed her lower stomach where she still felt his warm semen.
"Quash... what will happen if I get pregnant?"
She asked with a bit of vulnerability in her voice. Like she was a bit afraid to hear Quash’s answer. Or maybe she herself didn’t know what she wanted to know?
Quash couldn’t tell because her emotions were in a mess right now. But he had thought about this matter as well. And he had reached a clear conclusion even before she asked. Not just in this life, but his previous life. His principles never changed.
"Aaaa... you give birth?"
He said with a straight face, intending to break the awkwardness.
"Not that, idiot! I’m asking what will you do?"
She scolded him with a small pout. But she saw what he did and appreciated it.
"What will I do? Since you’ll be the one to take care of the baby in your womb, I will support you with whatever decision you make."
He said with a smile. Gabriella gazed at Quash because she lay back on his chest again, and started drawing doodles.
"You don’t like kids?"
"Personally? I don’t. They are annoying. And to be honest with you, no matter how many mental simulations I run inside my head, if it isn’t obedient or is too much of a brat, the orphanage is the way."
Gabriella: "..."
Quash: "..."
"Pfff-hahaha~~."
After a pause, Gabriella burst out laughing. Making Quash smile as well. He gazed at her laughing face with a fond smile.
