I Transmigrated Into A Goddess Body In Another World: But I'm a Man
Chapter 1: The Goddess Awakens
Pain did not arrive gently, It tore through Mason Michael’s consciousness like shattered glass scraping against his thoughts.
One moment he was standing inside his laboratory, surrounded by humming servers and glowing monitors filled with complex simulations, and the next thing silence swallowed everything.
Only endless darkness stretching beyond imagination. Am I dead? The thought surfaced slowly, strangely calm compared to the chaos he remembered. Fragments returned as they moved through the argument; his colleagues laughing across the research room.
"History shows civilization began with matriarchal structures," one had insisted.
"And biology proves male dominance came first," Mason had argued back, refusing to yield.Logic mattered to him and evidence mattered too. He could not accept assumptions disguised as truth.
That stubbornness had driven him further than anyone expected, further than science should have allowed. He had built the Temporal Origin Algorithm;a simulation designed to trace humanity’s
developmental origin through probability timelines... not time travel though just data reconstruction. At least... that was the intention.
Until the system reacted, the screens had flashed, numbers collapsing into symbols.
Energy readings climb beyond measurable limits and then boom extreme blinding, devouring light escalated.
Mason felt something pull him downward, weight returned violently.Air rushed into lungs that did not feel familiar.
He gasped because the first breath burned like fire. Sound flooded his ears;whispers, distant chanting, metal clinking against marble floors.
His eyelids fluttered open, trying to adjust to the golden light that greeted him,it wasn’t electric light but firelight.
Hundreds of flames flickered from towering braziers surrounding a vast chamber carved from white stone. Massive pillars rose toward a domed ceiling painted with constellations that slowly moved as though alive.
Mason blinked repeatedly, this... isn’t my lab. His body felt wrong...heavy yet powerful.
Every breath carried strange warmth through his veins, like liquid lightning flowing beneath his skin.
He tried to move his hand but silk brushed against his arm. Long fingers; slender and elegant lifted into view.
He froze at what he saw
Those were not his hands; They were smaller, smooth, graceful and feminine.
Feminine? Shook immediately ripped through him, a cold realization crept into his chest.
"No... no, this is a dream."His voice escaped. It was soft and melodic, undeniably female.
His heart stopped,he gently sat up abruptly to be sure of what’s happening.
Long silver hair cascaded over his shoulders, sliding across bare skin adorned with intricate golden markings glowing faintly like living runes.
His breathing quickened. What the hell happened to me? Before panic could fully take hold, footsteps echoed across the chamber.
Two figures rushed forward and dropped instantly to their knees.
"My Goddess!" one called, voice trembling with relief.
He stared widened and confused at them.
The speaker was a tall man dressed in layered ceremonial robes, dark hair tied neatly behind him. His posture radiated discipline and reverence.
Beside him knelt a woman clad in black armor, her sharp eyes scanning Mason as though guarding him from invisible threats.
"My Goddess Athlian," the man continued softly, bowing his head. "You have awakened."
Athlian? The name struck Mason like a foreign memory trying to force itself into his mind.
"I..." he began, then stopped.
Even speaking felt unnatural.
The armored woman stepped closer. "We feared the divine backlash had claimed you. The ritual nearly destroyed the palace."
Ritual? Divine backlash? Nothing made sense. Mason opened his mouth to ask questions but suddenly pain exploded inside his skull.
A scream echoed within his mind.
’WHO ARE YOU?!’
The voice was not heard with ears. It thundered directly inside his
consciousness, ancient and furious.
He clutched his head as images slammed into him; armies kneeling, storms splitting skies, cities bowing before a radiant woman standing upon a throne of light...she’s powerful, had authority and also filled with Divinity and behind those memories stood her.
A presence vast and overwhelming.’You are not of this body’, the voice hissed. ’You dare inhabit me?’
Mason staggered mentally, struggling to breathe."I...I don’t know what’s happening!" he thought desperately.
Silence followed, then rage followed the voice ’This body belongs to Athlian, Goddess of Sovereignty. Remove yourself’.
A crushing pressure bore down on his mind, attempting to push him away, erase him.
He felt himself slipping as if drowning beneath an ocean of divine will but
Instinctively, he resisted.
Years of analytical thinking anchored him. If this is consciousness, he reasoned, then dominance depends on mental stability.
The pressure intensified, the goddess’s presence surged like a tidal wave.
But Mason adapted.
Instead of fighting emotionally, he analyzed the attack. He adjusted his thoughts like recalibrating an algorithm.
The crushing force faltered and for a brief moment; balance formed. The goddess’s voice shifted from fury to shock.
Impossible...
Mason felt her pull back slightly and relief flooded him.
"I’m not trying to steal anything," he thought carefully. "I don’t even know where I am."
The presence lingered, watching him.
’You are human’.
"Yes."
’Weak.’
"Probably."
A long pause followed. Then cold realization filled her tone.
’You have fused with my soul.’
Mason’s stomach dropped. Fused?
Meaning he wasn’t leaving.
Outside, the robed man; Saleem, lifted his head cautiously.
"My Goddess... are you in pain?"
Mason returned to the physical world, realizing he had been frozen in silence.
Two pairs of concerned eyes watched him.
He tried to respond."I’m... fine."The words came slowly, carefully.
The armored woman; Ura, tilted her head slightly. Something in her gaze sharpened which was suspicious.
Athlian’s voice whispered inside him again.’They sense change. Control your expression.’
Mason nearly laughed despite the situation. The goddess giving him instructions inside her own body felt absurd.
But he followed instinctively.
He straightened his posture. An unfamiliar confidence settled over him; as if the body remembered how a goddess should move even if the mind did not.
Saleem exhaled in relief. "The kingdom rejoices at your return."
Kingdom? Goddess! servants kneeling before him, reality finally struck.
He transmigrated, not a simulation or a hallucination,he had crossed into another world and the worse of it all is that he was inhabiting a divine ruler.
Athlian spoke again, her voice quieter now, calculating.’You will release control.’
Mason hesitated."I don’t think I can."
Anger flared instantly.’You dare defy a goddess?’
"I’m not defying you," Mason replied internally. "I literally don’t know how to leave."
Silence answered him, then something unexpected happened.
Athlian tested control of their shared body, Mason felt her attempt to move an arm.
For a split second, his vision flickered but his consciousness remained dominant.
The body did not obey her fully. Shock rippled through her presence.
’You... hold the upper will.’
Mason swallowed, he hadn’t meant to.Yet somehow, his mind stabilized the body better than hers.
Outside, Ura suddenly placed a hand on her sword.
"My Goddess," she said carefully, "your aura... feels different."
The chamber grew tense.
Mason realized this was dangerous.
If they suspected possession,he could be killed before understanding anything.
Athlian’s voice turned cold.’Speak as I would and command them’
Mason took a breath. Then he did something unexpected; even to himself.
He smiled gently."I have returned from deep meditation," he said. "The experience has... changed my perspective."
Saleem immediately bowed lower. "Divine enlightenment."
Ura studied him longer, then slowly knelt again, tension eased.
Mason nearly collapsed from relief.
But inside his mind, Athlian watched him closely, not with rage now but with curiosity.
’You chose mercy in your tone’ she observed.
"That’s normal where I come from."
’gods do not reassure servants.’
"Well," Mason thought dryly, "maybe gods should try it."
Another long silence followed.Then, faintly
amusement came
The goddess did not laugh but her hostility lessened.
Suddenly a surge of power awakened within their body.
Energy flooded Mason’s senses, he felt the palace beyond the walls,The city outside, thousands of lives moving under his awareness. It was overwhelming.
"What is this?" he whispered.
’Divine perception’ Athlian answered. ’You are feeling my authority.’
Mason staggered slightly. Being human moments ago... and now sensing an entire kingdom felt unreal. Just then a sharp disturbance pierced the awareness.
Athlian reacted instantly. ’Assassins.’
The palace doors burst open immediately.
Guards shouted as steel clashed.
Ura leapt to her feet, drawing twin blades."Protect the Goddess!"
Saleem raised glowing sigils in the air.
Mason’s heart pounded."I don’t know how to fight!"
’Then allow me control,’ Athlian demanded.
Mason hesitated.
Trusting the voice trying to expel him moments ago felt dangerous.
The doors exploded inward. Masked figures charged through divine barriers.
One assassin launched directly toward the throne.
Instinct took over as Mason moved, not from knowledge nor training but because the body remembered.
His hand lifted as light erupted from his palm like a newborn star. Time itself seemed to slow.
The assassin froze midair, suspended by invisible force.
Shock filled the chamber.
Mason stared at his glowing hand."I... did that?"
Athlian’s voice echoed softly. ’Yes.’
The assassin screamed as divine energy crushed him into ash.
Guards knelt instantly.
Saleem whispered in awe, "The Goddess’s power has evolved..."
Ura watched Mason with fierce admiration.
But inside Athlian realized something terrifying.
’You wield my power naturally.’
Mason exhaled slowly, staring at the fading light. He didn’t understand this world.
He didn’t understand this body and he certainly didn’t understand the ancient goddess sharing his mind, yet one truth became clear.
He wasn’t just surviving inside Athlian,he was becoming her just in one day of transmigrating into her body...the thought dreaded him.
Outside, thunder rolled across the sky as if the heavens themselves reacted to his awakening.
Far beyond the palace, unseen divine beings turned their attention toward the Syrian Kingdom because something impossible had occurred.
A human soul now sat upon a goddess’s throne and destiny had begun to change.
Inside the shared consciousness, Athlian whispered one final thought.
’Human... What are you becoming?’
Mason had no answer but deep within, he felt it.
This was only the beginning.
