The light diamond race moved around like they couldn’t be concerned with anyone else. It wasn’t arrogance, but full minded focus. Most of them that passed by Walker didn’t even have the mind to look at him as they moved around him.

Even the mercenaries were ignored for the most part which was something that seemed to be normal as well. They didn’t pay any mind to it, just proving that they were used to it when they visited here.

More so, they didn’t seem to find it odd that this well developed place didn’t seem to have places to purchase food or even lodgings. It was all seemingly just materials areas to trade materials and places to forge or craft goods. It was clear that the light diamond race was entirely focused on their crafting and nothing more.

This sole focus was good though. Walker could reinforce the idea that he had about the light diamond race and would be able to make a connection based purely on their need for crafting items.

The materials he could provide would be sure to cover their interests. Especially since he would be able to offer materials that could not be gained from the elemental planes at all. He would also be able to connect them with other crafters working on unique crafting methods that they had not seen before.

Of course this was all depending on the fact that he was actually able to build a relationship with them. Then again, it might be easier than what he was expecting. But it could also be harder than anything else if he was not able to get past the fact that they were harder to get the attention of.

As the mercenaries took him around, Walker realized that there were well armored guards around. Some of the light diamond race had their sharp white metal armors on watching carefully. But they didn’t appear to be watching for invaders or fights. Instead, they were watching the material stalls trading and buying materials.

Clearly, they would have more strict rules and laws about the materials they valued more than anything. But that still made sense.

The drinks that Walker was offered to sip while the group of mercenaries kept splitting up more and more to go to their favorite spots were good. Some were light affinity herbs that were brewed together to make alcohols with bright and dense light mana within them. Others were deeper in amber colors causing the light mana to be weaker but also enhancing the flavors from the plants and herbs used.

The alcohols of the elemental planes would always be different from the world, however, Walker had truly never studied these things before. Not because he didn’t enjoy a little here and there with the food his mother brilliantly created.

It was simply that he didn’t continue to get drunk or feel the effects. Meaning that it was already better he did not worry about drinking in general. But the flavors that could be added or created through making wines and higher concentration alcohols were amazing.

He had seen some medicines made that also used the alcohol to bring out certain effects from herbs. So, Walker saw a lot of value in this form of crafting, he just didn’t know if all of these were made within this village or if they were just used as traded items to get more and more materials.

"This damn wine is used to cool their swords! They heat them using light mana and they glow that bright white before they plunge them into the light essence wine causing it to become wasted. Something about aligning the, mana within or something. A huge waste!" a few of the mercenaries started to go on about this, it seemed they truly felt strongly about this.

"I said not to drink in the streets like hooligans!" the sapphire eyed mercenary leader returned and easily caught up to them. She looked at Walker and appeared to breathe a sight of relief seeing that he was not also under the influence. Yet, she also noticed he had a few cups in his hand from being given drinks which was even more surprising.

"I have gotten our payments procured and now we can discuss any agreements with another client." Her words clearly kept Walker as the hiring client, but it also showed her tact.

She was not willing to put full trust in him even though he had helped them in a tough spot. Instead, she was offering a chance to be able to share a job and see how a potential contract might go. How they may be able to benefit and also Genesis benefit in turn. If everything went the way she believed it would, she would have not needed to worry at all about anything.

On top of all this, Walker also spotted a few rolls of paper in a waistband. "These are future job offers. They always have several prepared for us before they leave for their workshops or to find materials. We could remain here without traveling." This was her way of saying, if the job you offer us is not good enough, then we will not take it.

"I understand what you are saying. I believe that the materials I can offer you and the equipment would be ideal. However, I also can offer more than that." Walker showed some things he had brought. A few light elemental materials he knew couldn’t be found within the light elemental plane. A few books that described fighting styles or even techniques based on specific weapons.

"We have a lot of information and work that happens within Genesis. Because of that, we are always recording what we find. We have plenty of tactics, techniques, scrolls, materials, and even places to relax if you all would wish to see them. Out of your group, there are only seventeen that need to train resistances to be able to safely travel to the world and see what we offer. I can give you methods to train and mana crystals with the manas you need to train resistances against."

Seeing that Walker was prepared to offer them all this already, those listening halted their steps for the briefest of moments.

That all understood that he was willing to drop a significant investment in just bringing them to the world and his alliance. That was abnormal for sure!

"Please stop making me look like that. It is normal for us to offer good things like this. We have many and we have so very many people working together to gain what we have. It is all because of the hard work that happens every day that we can offer this. We wish for people to unite rather than to separate or isolate."

He was speaking sweetly, but the sapphire eyed leader also saw his focus shift to a few of the light diamond race members frozen on the spot seeing materials they did not recognize. Walker also was somewhat shocked by this, he didn’t expect just taking out a few items would stun them to such a massive degree that they had halted in the street and made a spectacle of staring him down.

"Boss, I am sold. That fruit he has looks good." One of the mercenaries made a comment and Walker tossed him the white and green speckled fruit he had shown off. It was called a green spotted pear. It had the smallest of water affinities but primarily light affinity. It wouldn’t harm any of the mercenaries, and would actually help the one who snatched it to acclimate and adjust to water mana. It was good subconscious training for them so that they would more easily be able to travel in the future.

Seeing as Walker gave it away like nothing, they were immediately surprised again. "I have a multi dimensional storage skill. I have quite a few of these fruits and even have some work to do to store living plants that grow fruits like that in one of my storages." He didn’t hide the fact that he had more and had the skills to grow more. It was only good for him to share.

"What materials can you sell us? We can buy them. We have crafted goods to trade." Three of the light diamond race approached without looking at anything but what Walker was showing off.

"I am making an arrangement with the light sworn mercenaries to visit the world and to form an alliance with us. We need some valuable people to go on quests within the light elemental planes. I would ask you to communicate with them about what materials you may wish to purchase." This was it, the end all be all of his offer. The perfect way to forge a strong relationship with both groups.
