My father sold me to the Mafia King
Chapter 191/Sins of the Father
Chapter 191
Thomas’s Point of View
I watched that bastard Morgan leave the house with his provocative strides; he came only to spite me and strike me with the fact that I’ve become crippled and confined to this cursed chair.
I exhaled in frustration, gripping the weak armrests of my chair with my frail hands. If only I had killed him that day, it would have been better for everyone.
My mind drifted to the past, and I clearly remembered when I placed the muzzle of the gun against his head twenty years ago.
Sweat was pouring from his forehead, but he looked at me coldly and said, "Really, Thomas... you never listen to reason."
I backed down then, lowered the weapon, and handed it back to him, saying in a cautious tone, "Don’t threaten me again, Morgan... Elizabeth cannot find out anything."
"You’re insane," he replied as he walked away.
He left the room and left me alone. I sat next to Violet on the edge of the bed; she was drenched in sleep like an angel.
I ran my trembling hand over her delicate face and said in a low voice carrying a dark promise, "You will be mine... neither my marriage, nor my children, nor anything in the world will stop me from taking you."
In the morning, Violet woke up, pulling the bedsheets toward her body in terror, looking at me with lost eyes. I was sitting on the sofa watching her in silence. "What happened?" she asked in a trembling voice.
"You fainted," I said calmly.
"Really?" she muttered, lacking comprehension.
I pointed to a bag beside me. "There are clothes in that bag. Change your dress... I’m going out."
I stepped out of the room to find Morgan waiting for me with suspicious looks. He approached me and said, "Did you spend the night here with her?"
"Don’t start again, Morgan," I said, trying to hide my confusion. "All there is to it is that I stayed sitting on the sofa."
"You need to come to your senses, Thomas," he said seriously.
I sighed in annoyance, looking away from him. "Enough, please."
Suddenly, Violet walked out of the room; she was wearing a purple dress that highlighted her beauty, her hair cascading softly over her shoulders. My mouth fell open, stunned by her charm, and I felt my heart pounding and Morgan’s state was no different from mine.
"I have to go home now," she said shyly.
"I’ll drive you home," I said immediately.
"Let’s go then," Morgan said helplessly.
We dropped her at her house; she thanked us and left with delicate steps. "The story of this girl ends here," Morgan said as he started the car engine.
"Yes, we helped her and that’s it," I replied, watching her shadow disappear.
He looked at me with suspicion. "I didn’t expect you to agree so quickly."
"I’m a married man," I said with artificial coldness. "I won’t do such things."
But I was lying. Only two days later, I couldn’t bear it anymore.
I took out my phone and sent her a message I had taken her number stealthily while she was sleeping. I typed with trembling fingers: "Hello Violet, it’s Thomas... you’ll wonder how I got your number, but I took it while you were asleep. If you have some time, could we meet?"
After five minutes of waiting that felt like five hours, the phone vibrated in my hand, and her message arrived: "Hello Thomas... yes, we can meet."
An indescribable joy washed over me, and I felt my blood rushing warmly through my veins. I wrote immediately: "I’ll come to pick you up right away."
Suddenly, I heard my wife Elizabeth calling me: "Thomas, honey."
I shoved the phone into my pocket quickly, like a child caught red-handed. "Yes, darling?"
She approached me with dreamy eyes. "Can we go out tonight? It’s been a long time since we went out alone, just you and me."
I stood up from the sofa coldly before she could touch me. "I’m busy today, dear."
She frowned in disappointment. "You’re always busy. When will you find time for me?"
"You know how work is, darling," I said as I headed toward the door.
I gave her a short, fleeting kiss on the lips and hurried out of the house. "Sorry, Elizabeth..." I muttered as I got into my car and gripped the steering wheel tightly. "I have to see the girl who changed my heartbeat the one whose name my heart now beats for alone."

Julie’s Point of View
I was in the office about to finish those damn files. I had spent the entire day here, and Robert hadn’t shown up yet. Damn it! I can’t stop thinking about him; he has completely taken over my mind, making my heart flutter every time I remember his touch.
Suddenly, the door opened and a man entered the office. My mouth fell open in total shock as I saw him before me; his tall, well-proportioned body, the light beard giving him an overwhelming charisma, his blonde hair, and those enchanting gray eyes. Damn! Am I dreaming?
He approached me and said in a calm tone, "Hello, miss. Mr. Robert told me to wait for him in his office."
I wasn’t really hearing what he was saying; I was just staring at him in a daze that paralyzed my movement. Then I whispered in disbelief, "Sebastian Fine? Is it really you, or am I dreaming?"
He smiled a smile that melted my heart and said, "Yes, darling, it’s me."
I suddenly screamed without realizing it, saying with hysterical excitement, "I’ve watched all your movies! I’m a huge fan of yours; I can’t believe you’re actually standing in front of me right now!"
"Thank you," he replied with a humility that only added to his handsomeness.
"You look even more handsome in person, believe me," I said, my eyes scanning him with admiration. "The camera cannot show all your good looks."
