My Mother is the Villain
Chapter 55: Holy Light Sect
"Are you serious?" Victor asked.
"My father’s blood. You won’t find anything better."
"Oh..." Victor almost forgot that this woman was the daughter of the last World Monarch.
World Monarch blood was extremely precious. Not much was left behind, as it could even trigger heavenly backlash.
Only a small amount remained, and it was usually used up within one era for cultivation.
As for injuring a World Monarch to obtain their blood—such a thing didn’t exist even in legends.
A World Monarch’s blood would naturally contain all kinds of emotions. They must have experienced anger, and even a trace of their anger surpassed all other forms, surely embedded within their blood.
"Where is it?" Victor asked.
"At the Holy Light Sect. It’s sealed and cannot be moved," Alexandra replied, causing Victor to frown.
"Will I be safe there?" he asked.
He couldn’t view the Holy Light Sect the same way he viewed the Heavenly Thunder Sect.
"It should be fine. Besides, that sect isn’t the type to kill someone casually—especially you. That could cause major problems if you were killed," Alexandra answered.
"Alright..." Victor smiled.
If the Holy Light Sect dared to act recklessly, they would have already broken the engagement agreement first to prevent Alexandra from being taken by an outsider.
But they weren’t that bold.
They indeed had many powerful cultivators, but to oppose his mother, they would likely need to unite. Conflict would bring great losses to the sect unless it was for something like the World Crown.
"Let’s go."
"Now?" Alexandra was surprised.
After all, Alex and William were still fighting.
And they were just going to leave like this?
What about Victor’s promise to whoever defeated Alex?
"We can’t waste time on training," Victor replied.
Hearing that, Alexandra could only nod.
She glanced at Lily, who seemed to send a special signal.
Moments later, Alexandra’s carriage arrived, landing beside their table.
Victor immediately stood up and pulled Alexandra into the carriage.
BANG!
That caused William to lose focus, and Alex’s punch landed on his face, instantly sending him flying into the formation wall surrounding the stone platform.
The previously balanced battle fell into chaos.
However, Alex did not immediately attack again.
He stared at the carriage that suddenly departed.
His expression turned gloomy.
William’s expression was even worse, yet he seemed to forget he had just been punched.
"Go! Quickly!" William shouted, losing his heroic demeanor as he called his subordinates.
They arrived with a flying vessel.
William guessed Alexandra was heading back to the sect based on the direction of her carriage.
Of course, he would follow.
If not for her, he wouldn’t have come to this city in the first place.
Inside the carriage, Victor pulled Alexandra onto his lap.
The carriage was incredibly fast—faster than Victor expected. He could no longer see the land below clearly; everything turned into a blur of green. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Even at this speed, he felt it would still take time to reach the Holy Light Sect located at the center of the continent.
Alexandra blushed slightly as she fell onto his lap.
Naturally, she did not resist.
Victor wrapped his arms around her waist and brought his face close to hers.
Even though they had already been intimate more than once, she was still nervous.
Then, Victor kissed her lips.
Of course, he wouldn’t miss the chance to be affectionate. It was far more enjoyable than just sitting quietly.
Eventually, Alexandra responded—she also enjoyed Victor’s presence.
They embraced tightly, kissing passionately.
And just like that, the journey felt short.
Suddenly, Alexandra stopped and quickly stood up, fixing her dress and hair.
She immediately looked embarrassed.
"We’re almost there," she said.
The carriage began to slow down.
Victor looked outside and saw land glowing white—everything radiated light, from the ground to the trees.
Even the rivers glowed.
"Where does all this light come from?" Victor asked.
"There’s a source beneath our sect, left behind by the Holy Light Monarch. No one can touch it—even a World Monarch—unless they’re as strong as him. The closer you get, the easier it is to cultivate light power. Just being there grants you Earth-Class Power Affinity with light, and it can keep improving. Reaching Saint Class is almost guaranteed."
"Oh... but it must not be easy to get there," Victor said.
"I’ve only been there once... It requires very high qualifications, and even staying there consumes enormous resources."
Soon, a massive mountain appeared, radiating gentle light.
Five rivers of light flowed across it, filled with large fish.
Victor also saw countless white pillars throughout the mountain.
From afar they looked small, but he estimated each to be around a hundred meters tall and twenty meters thick.
They seemed to absorb light from the sky.
Victor’s instincts told him they were extremely dangerous weapons.
Perhaps one of the sect’s trump cards.
Since she brought an outsider, Alexandra had no choice but to head to the sect’s main gate first.
Several senior disciples guarded the entrance.
They immediately recognized the carriage and stood up.
Alexandra was someone well-liked by the younger generation, and it was impossible not to respect her—she was the daughter of a World Monarch.
Her wearing a dress was normal.
But when they saw her face clearly, they were stunned.
Her beauty exceeded their imagination.
However, they froze when they saw her step out holding hands with a black-haired man.
He held her hand tightly, as if unwilling to let go.
Alexandra felt embarrassed—too many seniors were watching.
They were people who had seen her grow up.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t bring herself to reject Victor.
To her, his clingy behavior seemed oddly charming.
"Miss?" one of the senior disciples approached awkwardly.
Alexandra grew even more embarrassed.
"Senior, this is Victor Russell. Please inform the Sect Master that I request permission for him to enter," she said gently.
Permission was crucial.
Without it, Victor could not enter.
It wasn’t that Alexandra couldn’t force it—but that would cause major trouble.
She didn’t want that.
The senior disciple was about to nod when the air suddenly trembled.
A flying vessel arrived aggressively.
William Holylight jumped down and landed near Alexandra.
"Junior Sister, may I ask why you brought this man into our sect?" he asked calmly.
"Senior Brother, I only want to help Victor’s cultivation with one of my personal items," Alexandra replied.
"Personal item? If it requires bringing him here instead of taking it out, then it must be extremely valuable. Even if it belongs to you, it is your father’s legacy—you should use it yourself, not give it to someone else."
"So you consider me an outsider to Alexandra?" Victor interjected.
"Your engagement has already ended. You were the one who ended it," William replied.
"Yeah..." Victor didn’t deny it, raising their joined hands.
Alexandra’s expression twitched.
"Would an outsider do this?" Victor asked casually.
William’s lips trembled, unable to respond.
At that moment, the senior disciple spoke, "Miss, I just received word. Young Master Russell is permitted to enter."
"Thank you!" Alexandra immediately ignored William.
"Let’s go," she said to Victor.
They stepped through the gate.
Suddenly, an invisible force separated their hands.
Victor was surprised. Alexandra was even more shocked.
"What is this?" Victor asked.
Alexandra lowered her head, blushing.
(It seems my father’s consciousness still remains within the sect. I thought it had long disappeared.) she transmitted telepathically.
Victor didn’t know what to say.
So that consciousness was the one who separated them.
What the hell?
Did that man really dislike him being with his daughter?
But this one was a World Monarch.
Even if it was only a consciousness, who knew what terrifying things it could do?
Victor chose not to provoke it.
"Let’s go," he said to Alexandra, no longer holding her hand and simply walking beside her.
Naturally, news of their arrival had already spread throughout the sect.
The mountain had a grand staircase, with many smaller paths branching off on each side.
From those paths, numerous sect disciples appeared.
Some had white hair, and they seemed to carry greater prestige.
Unlike in the Heavenly Thunder Sect or the Heaven Emperor Academy, no one suddenly approached to offer themselves as a servant.
Victor realized that his mother likely had no subordinates within this sect.
She was simply too powerful—so powerful that the sect preferred to avoid conflict with her.
Victor acted as though he didn’t notice the many disciples staring at him.
He wondered whether trouble would arise again when suddenly—
"Hmph! Hmph!" A soft snorting voice echoed.
"Even a Heavenly Woman is still filled with desire for a handsome man. Alexandra, how does it feel to be fucked by a handsome man? It must feel amazing, right? Did you moan loudly? How many positions have you tried with him?"
Those vulgar words came from a beautiful young woman with long white hair.
Her beauty was not much inferior to Alexandra’s.
She appeared slightly petite, yet she was actually quite tall among women, charming in a luxurious short white dress.
From her expression, Victor could see a strong aura of mockery.
Her lips curled into a sneer as she looked at Alexandra, who was utterly shocked by her words.
