Father Miller and Mother Miller haven’t left Eastern City these days; they must see Eva Miller and Luke Land get their marriage certificate and live together before they can be at ease.

Eva Miller feels like she’s about to explode. That damn Luke Land, what kind of mind-altering drug has he given her parents? Now they’re both on his side, insisting she marry him.

She doesn’t even dare return to her own apartment; whenever she goes back, her parents urge her to get the certificate with Luke Land, and want her to move out and live with him...

She takes out her phone and makes a call to Luke Land.

"Hello, Little Chili, what’s up?" On the other end, Luke Land’s voice sounds cheerful.

"Come find me at the Imperial Court Hotel immediately."

"You have a home and yet you’re staying at a hotel?"

He even has the nerve to say that. If it weren’t for him, would she be in this situation where she can’t go home?

Luke Land quickly arrives at the Imperial Court Hotel; for Eva Miller, he’s always on call, ready to help.

As soon as he enters the room, Eva Miller can’t resist ’bossing around’ Second Young Master Land.

"Remember to help me buy food later. Because of your issues, I haven’t had a decent meal in two days."

"Sure, what do you want to eat? The usual dishes from that restaurant?" Luke Land asks while taking off his suit jacket. He rushed over too quickly; there’s been a lot going on in the company, his third brother only cares about his own romance, honeymooning with Sophie Smith, leaving all the work to him...

"I don’t want to eat there anymore, let’s change it up, I’m tired of it." Eva Miller frowns, seemingly thinking about something. She takes out her phone to check, "Oh, right, there’s a great dessert shop on Ring Road, I want to eat their desserts, and over by Lytton Square, there’s a famous Italian restaurant, I want to eat their pasta..."

As Eva Miller speaks, Luke Land notes it down, but...

"Are you sure you want to eat dessert and pasta together? Because they’re in completely opposite directions..."

"I just want to eat them, otherwise, what do you think I called you over for?" Eva Miller is slightly irritable; Luke Land naturally understands, as pregnant women tend to be cranky, plus her parents are keeping a closer watch on her right now.

"I’m just worried you might be hungry by the time I get back. If you can wait, I’ll go buy them now. Don’t worry, I’ll be back as soon as possible."

After saying that, Luke Land picks up the car keys he had just set down and heads out again.

Hearing the door close, Eva Miller is dazed. Oh no, what has she done now?

She didn’t actually want him to go buy things; she has more important things to discuss with him.

But as soon as she saw him, food was all she could think about; who asked him to be responsible for her meals recently?

Luke Land first goes to the dessert shop on Ring Road, buying some of Eva Miller’s favorite sweets, then turns the car around and heads towards the Italian restaurant by Lytton Square.

Midway, someone from the company’s secretarial department calls him.

"Mr. Land, there’s an urgent document that needs your signature. Do you think you could..." 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

"Just leave it there."

"But Mr. Land, the document needs to be sent to the European Headquarters tomorrow. You must sign it today."

Luke Land glances at his watch, it’s five ten in the afternoon...

"Leave the document in my office. I’ll head back to the company a bit later." No matter what, he has to sort out Eva Miller’s dinner first.
