365 Days To Love-Chapter 10 - TEN:Are You Gay ?

Zaiden came down from his car after the gate to the family house was opened for him,he recived a call from his dad to return home immediately when he was driving to the hotel. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

Meanwhile,Nathan dropped at his parents house leaving him alone and his thoughts to himself,as he refused to open up to him what was bothering him.

He sighed while coming down from his car because he knew his mom was not going to give him a breathing space once he’s in.He entered the living room and met the chief head of security who wanted to announce his arrival but he declined by shaking his head.

Zaiden climbed the stairs to his room,switching on the lights to find his room as usual bored of human existence,it’s been a week since he’s been home to the family house due to his mom’s pestering of him to get married.

He dropped his suitcase ontop of the bed,took a shower and came down to meet his dad in the sitting room pressing his phone,when he took notice of his presence,he called with a smile.

"Zaiden,you are home"Mr.knights said with a warm hug."When did you came in?"

"A while ago,how have you been dad?"Zaiden asked his dad who sat down crossing his leg.

"Well apart from your mom’s constant whinnying of you ignoring her call,I’m good"

"I knew it"Zaiden muttered to himself,settling himself down in a couch beside his dad.

"Where’s mom?"

"She’s upstairs,apart from that,we need to talk son"Mr.Knights told him making his expression to hardened at the moment already figuring out what the discussion was all about.

"Tell me what is the problem?"

"Problem like what dad?"Zaiden denied the fact that he didn’t knew what this was all about.

"You know what am talking about son,you do not need to pretend,if there’s something wrong with .."Ezekiel paused for a minute inclining his eyes towards his son’s groin that was when Zaiden cut in ,not believing his dad at all.

"Dad seriously!!"

"Are you gay son?"

"What! gay!!"Zaiden stood up now fed up with the discussion,he could not believe his parents at all,at first,his mom then his dad who thinks his sick down there,and also think he’s gay.

"Why so tensed up son,clearly if you aren’t you should tell me what’s wrong so that i can help you"Mr. Knights told him not caring about the look on his face .

"Your grandfather is coming back tomorrow,and you know what it means"

"Father I’m perfectly fine,there’s nothing wrong with me at all,and besides grandpa’s not harsh with me anyway,so I know how to deal with him"Zaiden bragged to his father,not scared an inch about the arrival of the chairman tomorrow,well he has been grandpa’s favourite son,so he has everything under his control or did he ?

"You know it’s not all about grandpa alone,the shareholders are becoming antsy about this whole issue"Mr.Knights explained to his butt headed son of his,that the shareholders were becoming impatient with him,but he choose to be nonchalant over the whole issue.

"Seriously,when did you start listening to those old greedy ants and their silly ideas"

"They are part of the company Zaiden and i won’t tolerate you mocking them"Mr .Knights told him in a serious tone ,the guts he had to call his elders greedy ants,his son’s attitude was not something he was proud of ,he knew Avery pampered him to the wits when he was young,but it was now much as he grew up.

"Father,I have everything under control ,so relax"Zaiden told his father crossing his leg in a not so concerned manner,and then he told his dad when he remembered something."By the way dad,Nathan is back"

"Wow,when?"

"Today,he came by the office"

"The family house is going to be busy tomorrow"Mr.Knights declared with a smile,happy for his brother Elijah about his son’s arrival,he came out of his though when he heard his wife’s melodious voice calling him while she climbed the stairs to the sitting room.

"Darling,I can’t wait for tomorrow to come"Avery told him with a cheerful voice,the joy she had in her heart about the dinner tomorrow can’t be told,as she had had invited Hazel .she didn’t tell her husband about how her day went with the young lady,she only told him she had a surprise for thier son.

"Mom"Zaiden called her smiling ,trying not to feel ashamed of himself for not picking up her calls lately.

"My baby"Avery cried in excitement as she rushed and pulled him in a heart felt hug,although she was mad at him for not picking her calls lately,she still missed him alot.

"Mom,I’m sorry for not picking your calls lately"Zaiden apologised holding her hands.

"I forgive you sweetheart,when did you arrived?"Avery asked him checking him out as it’s been long she saw him,she could say he looked nice.

"This evening,you look lovely mom"he told her earning a smile from his beautiful mom.

"Well,you came at the right time sweetheart,dinner is served"Avery told Zaiden drawing him to the dinner table ,totally forgetting about her husband.

"What about me? Aren’t you going to invite me to dinner too?"mr.knights asked surprised,Avery totally forgot he existed after seeing her son.

"Whatever"Avery told him as Zaiden chuckled towards his parents,they are one lovely couple and he could boast he has never seen them fight since growing up.

"Seriously"Mr.Knights said in a sullen mood walking to the table as Avery served her son almost serving him everything,petting his hair as if he was some Chinese doll that was going to break anytime soon.

"Thanks mom"Zaiden said looking at his mom,quite surprised at her behaviour,he was totally not expecting the warm welcome from her after what he did to her,but he had this sick feeling inside of him that something was wrong somewhere ,he suspected that his mom was pretending and was up to one of her silly games again.

"Mom,what are you up to?"Zaiden thought looking at her as she continued petting his hair encouraging him to eat more to the detriment of his dad,who has a sullen expression throughout the whole dinner.
