It was too good to be called a dream.

Not that she wanted it to be a dream, because right in here she found everything she had ever wished for.

There was Zaiden,and also there was peace.No one to bother her. She is loving every moment with Zaiden as she is having right now.

There was nothing stopping her,nothing stopping her love for Zaiden.There was no holding back this around, and no uncertainty that this wasn’t what she wanted.

To be happy.

To be free from worries that occupy her mind day in, day out about the time the truth would be revealed about what she was.

What she’s feeling now with Zaiden by her side,who wasn’t looking at her differently even while knowing that she was going to have her surgery today.

Yes,today was supposed to be the day, she proves to him that she’s going to work through all things, and come back successfully back to him.

But for the fact that she’s here with Zaiden,who hasn’t been able to utter a single word to her,while only smiling at her made her nervous.

This isn’t Zaiden,it wasn’t her Zaiden!

He won’t be acting as if he’s some toy that has been controlled with some remote,but he is acting like one right now.

He was behaving differently,and it was just as if he was reading her mind to see that she was starting to have doubts about who he was.

So,he ended up talking to make the act believable,to make her stay which seemed to prove successful after finally hearing him call her.

"Hey baby girl"He called with a smile while still making himself busy with what he’s doing. He seemed to be having some problem peeling the fruits for her,so she approached him to help.

"What exactly is taking you this long....

"Hazel asked,coming over to pause briefly when she saw what was on the plate that was supposed to be the fruit she asked.

There was blood everywhere.

Too much blood that she didn’t even look closely to know what exactly he was cutting,to have such a huge amount of blood soaking the floors while coming over to where she stood.

And right now,she was scared.

Real scared for her life,and too scared for Zaiden too.She wanted to wake up,if this was some dream or some joke or probably some movie, then she was fed up already.

"What are..you,who ..are you?"She stuttered,her leg moving back bit by bit as she saw his shoulder flexed at her words.

"Who am I?"He asked,and this time around it wasn’t Zaiden’s voice she heard,it was something else.. definitely not a human being’s voice, not after the gurgling sound that was coming from that sound.

Where is Zaiden?

She wanted to know.

Then suddenly she remembered that she was having her surgery,her mind was in a mess as if every piece of memory she had,was having issues at being kept locked inside her brain.

A shrill cry left the creature’s lips,and when she looked back to see who it was that pretended to be her sweetheart,what she saw ,her mouth was not able to define it.

A monster!!

"No!"She yelled,running out of the room..

Well it had to be a room onto the hallway that had no doors.

What the fuck!

She was confused yet scared of her life, because the approaching step’s of the monster inside the room she ran out from was heard.

Hazel ran.

She ran with all her might, searching for an escape route before she ends up being killed in this. ..dream.

It had to be a dream,yet it felt so real that the thoughts of it being real and coming to hurt any of her loved ones made her feel uneasy.

She had to live...no,she was determined to stay alive at all cause, but for the fact that she had crossed the same hallway for over twenty good times, without seeing no door or a window made her feel like she had finally gone crazy.

It was just like a void..an empty void that had no shape,and she was just stuck there. Trapped there for humanity because she got thirsty and brought her hands to her lips, only to realize how old and wrinkled they were.

She was flabbergasted,she touched her hand...hands that are old enough to her that of grandpa and now it belonged to her.

Luckily enough she found a spot along the void that was translucent for her to see herself,and when she looked there...she saw herself.

She saw Hazel...an old Hazel who looked back at her.

The shock it did give her was strong enough to knock her out,but she found herself going crazy at how she was able to hear the voices.

The voices that belonged to no one in particular,but maybe ghosts,this has to be a haunted house but the big question was how she managed to get in here.

She was supposed to be in the hospital room,with doctor Sam confirming that she’s good to go after the surgery.

But maybe that was another dream, because right now she doesn’t know what to believe anymore.

The only thing that was in her mind right now was meeting Ziaden,she had to fund him at all costs and get free from this madness she was in.

She’s going to die!

Die Hazel!

What else are you waiting for?

Ziaden is gone!

You won’t ever see him again!

"Noo! It’s not true"She refused to listen to the voices,maybe this was her hell?

Maybe she had died and gone for real,but this wasn’t going to stop her from believing that all these things were not real.

Your contract is up Hazel,it’s time to go.

This time around,it was the fairy godmother’s voice calling for her,to take her to God knows where.To take her away from reality.

But she refused to go...she refused to believe that she would die,not without going to the Eiffel tower with Ziaden,not without having her pillow fights and playing video games with Zaiden.

Oh! There was still a lot to do,and now it was obvious that a year was not enough,it isn’t enough to spend with the one soul she doesn’t want to be apart from.

"It’s time to leave now princess"The godmother said,this time her voice was so close that she looked around to find her standing beside her.

A wall was formed,a wall between two worlds,as she looked to see herself in the hospital with Docker Sam,it also revealed the worried faces of everyone that was waiting for her.

They were all waiting for her,if only they knew what’s going on right now.

"You are dying Hazel,the contract has come to an e..."

"No, I’m not dying! I want to live"She interrupted the fairy,who only sighed.

Humans?

"That’s not possible girl,you signed a contract and you can’t cheat destiny"

"That’s not my destiny,my destiny is out there"She said pointing at Zaiden, with tears rolling down her face,"He’s waiting for me,he’s calling me"

"I don’t have time for this human,the time between the two worlds is going fast and soon the bridge would be closed"

"I’m not leaving with you,I can’t leave without him fairy godmother,I don’t think i can do...that"She broke down in tears,moving on to hold her legs.

"I want to live,so please..."

"That’s not a matter for me to handle anymore Human,I’m nothing but a messenger"

"Then tell whoever is in charge that I’m not willing to go,I want to live please"She cried,as it left the fairy godmother stunned at what she seeked for.

All her years of being in this world,she had never encountered someone like her,the other had been greedy to find wealth,gain popularity and also to have power.

But this Human right here,Hazel was different; she only wanted to be back to reunite with her lover.

But who says she can fight against her destiny?

"Then make a difference Human,be the author and finisher of your faith "She said,this was going against the order but yet she was doing it,helping her if only she’s smart to figure out the puzzle.

But Hazel proved to be smart,the moment she looked into the fairy’s eyes,She knew what to do.

So she stood up and ran to her heaven,as the fairy godmother stood and watched, would she make it?

Everything started to disappear,the world she was in started to cease to exist while she fought not to be carried along with it.

The bride was closing,as she inched closer..so closer to leave,but she was pushed back by a heavy force that restricted her movement.

"I have to get to him!"She cried, fighting off the bond on her,as she ran but her feet were tackled by the same creature drawing her back,as the bridge was getting tiny as the second passed.

So, with all strength left in her,she gave a swift kick to the face of the force that released her,using this opportunity she jumped.

Hazel jumped in before the bridge was sealed,into darkness not knowing whether she made it or not.

But whatever it was,She’s going to see Zaiden soon and that’s what matters.
