A Child Turned Into A Soldier-Chapter 37: Reality (3)
Chapter 37: Reality (3)
'How can someone be that much stronger than me when we look to be almost the same age? Even though I'm at point blank range I have nothing and can do nothing to kill her. Not to mention she also speaks the human language, what in the world is happening?' I thought to myself as I stared dead into her eyes.
"Human, I know you can understand me. That Elf did nothing to harm you so why did you kill him?"
"Why are you Elves on human soil."
"To keep an eye on what you humans are planning, did you think we'd forgot what your race did to us all those years ago? You humans can't be trusted."
'This is nonsense, in what world do these Elves fucking live in. Do they look down on us so much that they think they can do whatever they want while thinking they're in the right?'
"You're the ones who are pushing your limits, what you alone are doing right now is enough to start another war. Is that what you Elves want because that seems to be the case."
"We Elves despise war, it's your race that loves war. Greed runs through your veins and you lack the self control to stop it. All your race does is take, never give. What you have is never enough and you always want more, tell me am I wrong?"
"Humans take? Do I need to remind you that you almost brought us to extinction? Your lands have never once been invaded, you people are always the one invading. For people who hate war so much you sure are good at it."
"That is only because you never had the capabilities to invade, do you even know why the great war started? Probably not since humans are so secretive, well anyway answer my first question."
"I considered him a threat. There you fucking happy now, let's just get this over with."
"A threat? The man did no physical harm to you, yet you considered him a threat. All he did was observe you and you think that's enough to take someone's life away?"
"The way you're looking down on me is the same way your race looks at my own. You have zero respect and push your boundaries. You being here is enough to get you killed, until there is a day where we are allies then that will not happen. If you want to be here and observe us so badly sign a damn peace treaty and do it legally."
The woman just stared at me and finally let go of my jaw. The amount of bloodlust she had never went down. It seemed she had enough of our conversation.
As I was waiting for my death the women simply waved her small hand and started to walk. In that moment she vanished, as if she wasn't even here to begin with.
'She controls the space element? No wonder the difference is that large, that's one of the most powerful elements you can wield. It seems she's spared my life, but at what cost...' I thought to myself while feeling extremely tired and defeated.
I've had quite a long day once again and it seemed like a break was never going to come.
.....
POV: Willam Hunt
'Man I haven't fed the poor kid in eight hours, hopefully he isn't to pissed at me. Well I'm sure he's used to not eating for long periods of time, after all he was trained into a war machine.' I thought to myself as I was driving, this backroad was always peaceful and never had any other cars.
I was hoping that this forest would be able to help the kid deal with his problems mentally. Being alone while not being able to see truly forces you to see your own problems.
With how much the kid seemed to think, I knew problems would arise for him, so I wanted to do it in a safe environment rather than having it come up for the first time at the academy.
I pulled over on the side of the road and got out of my vehicle. I grabbed the kid's dinner and started my walk into the forest.
The kid was pretty far into the forest, so I decided to run. I was already pretty late, there was no need for me to make it worse. I began to dash through the trees and bushes while making sure the plastic bag in my hand wasn't breaking.
In less than 10 minutes I made it to the kids' location, but he wasn't there. I noticed the blindfold on the ground and immediately heightened all my senses. I dropped the plastic bag and began to search for him.
I picked up the kid's scent and took off into its direction. In less than a second I managed to spot the kid, but his condition didn't look so good. Blood was all over him and still leaking very slowly from his temple.
I also noticed a dead person to his back, when I looked at the person's body, I saw that it was an Elf.
"Azrail what happened! Can you speak? Are you okay?" I asked the kid in a loud tone. This wasn't supposed to happen and I was worried about his condition.
"I'm fine, just tired.... We have a serious problem though." The kid said in a very low tired tone.
"What's the problem? Here just explain everything that you can and I'll simply listen."
As Azrail was telling his story I began to patch up that wound on his temple. The kid spilled everything to me and I couldn't believe what transpired here while I was away.
I was shocked, but for the most part I was enraged. I couldn't believe the Elves would not only be able to speak the human language but do it fluently. Being able to control the elements with their eyes is also new. Yet the worst part has to be that they have a young Elf capable of wielding the space element.
"You did a good job Azrail I mean it, being able to kill an Elf and attain valuable information is very difficult. The government will reward you for this and don't worry about you conversation with that girl. You did the right thing, now let's go back and have you get some rest."
I meant every word I said to the kid, he truly did an amazing job and honestly I felt proud. He did this all by himself, I needed to make sure his work didn't go to waste. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝑐𝘰𝓂
As Azrail was getting up he suddenly stopped and fell down. I appeared next to him and check his vitals which showed that he was alive, just simply passed out.
I grabbed a cell phone from my pocket and dialed in a certain number.
"How may I help you sir?"
"Code green, emergency level five, requesting use of the reaper core. Also send a medic to my current location immediately."
"Yes sir." The male responder said, I hung up the phone and simply looked up at the sky.
'We have been far too lenient on them, it's time to start truly hunting them down. '
