A Dragon against the Whole World-Chapter 106: Wrestling with the Giant
Galos’ Dragon Eyes slightly contracted.
Where the white beam passed, it disassembled the air into a vacuum trail, even bending the light, and it was extremely fast.
If hit by it, it wouldn’t feel good at all.
The Diamond Giant was stronger than any opponent he had encountered before.
Killing it required the right timing and the right strategy.
Galos suddenly folded his Dragon Wings, his body rapidly spinning in the air, the beam brushing past the wing membrane, while those attacks like rocks and fireballs were directly smashed apart by his brute force.
However, being disrupted by these attacks inevitably slowed his speed quite a bit.
Whoosh!
Galos opened his mouth and let out a Flaming Dragon Breath.
Thick fiery flames churned and were highly concentrated, shooting in a pillar shape towards a young Stone Giant.
The young Stone Giant stood there sluggishly, watching the Dragon Breath approach.
The Granite Giant pushed the tribesman aside, forming a thick rock Giant Shield in his hand to block in front of the Dragon Breath.
The heavy and tall body was pushed back step by step by the Dragon Breath, plowing a long furrow in the ground, and the rock Giant Shield could visibly be seen melting into glass.
Suddenly, the breath stopped.
Galos twisted his body, dodging the spear thrown by the Diamond Giant.
Seeing Galos not using the ground impact attack method again, the Diamond Giant muttered a deep spell to use a Heavy Spell on him, trying to slow his speed and maneuverability.
However.
Galos was already prepared.
With a flap of his Dragon Wings, he gained altitude, leaving the spell’s range.
The Diamond Giant’s spell fell into emptiness, wasting magical energy.
"This young Dragon is not simple."
The Diamond Giant watched the Dragon Race circling high in the sky with a solemn heart.
It wasn’t his first time dealing with the Dragon Race, he had even stained his hands with their blood.
In the Diamond Giant’s mind, the Dragon Race was a creature that couldn’t restrain their irritable emotions during battle.
They could fly, but very few Dragons could use this advantage well.
Often, when heated in battle, Dragons would choose to brawl with the enemy on the ground, especially Red Dragons who enjoyed the feeling of close combat and bloody battle, rather than leveraging speed and flying skills to outmaneuver their targets.
The young Dragon before him possessed Red Dragon Blood.
The spines on his body, his sturdy physique, and the sulfur-like smell all proved this, yet he gave the Diamond Giant a feeling completely unlike the dumb and reckless Red Dragons.
Under the deep night sky, the battle continued.
Galos fully exerted his dominance over the sky. After killing the young Stone Giant with a fierce crashing method from the first sneak attack, he never landed again.
Using Dragon Breath and Explosive Scales and other long-range means, he controlled the range, repeatedly bombarding the Stone Giant Camp.
Since he could accumulate power for each attack, Galos, as the attacker, held the initiative, making it inevitable for the Stone Giants to make mistakes after being on the defensive for a long time.
When Galos dove in again, the Granite Giant used a Heavy Spell on him.
It was not when Galos slowed down to ascend, but when he was diving and accelerating, completely mistiming the use of the spell.
Under the dual effects of the invisible pull from the earth and the surging fiery flames, Galos’ body tore through the night sky, almost becoming a straight line as he swooped towards the Stone Giant Camp.
He spread out his Dragon Wings like guillotine blades.
The tall stone houses, the Granite Giant’s arm, and the head of another young Stone Giant were all neatly severed simultaneously.
The Diamond Giant strode up to Galos, raising his arm.
Galos didn’t flinch, dodging the heavy punch with his speed, crashing into the Diamond Giant’s strong, solid chest.
Boom!
The ground dented and cracked.
At the moment of impact, some of the spines and fine scales on Galos’ body shattered; Explosive Scales burst out, while the Diamond Giant’s heavy body tilted back and rolled on the ground for dozens of times, crushing numerous Demon Race members and collapsing several houses, eventually embedding into a high wall on the camp’s outer perimeter, buried by rubble.
In pure strength, Galos was no match for the Diamond Giant at the moment.
After all, he was too young, with a life level not high enough.
Yet, after speeding up, Galos, with his body enveloped in immense kinetic energy, managed to knock the Diamond Giant flying, and even though he felt a dizzying sensation due to his long-term adaptation and evolution, there wasn’t any major injury.
He spread his Dragon Wings.
Before the surrounding mobs could gather, Galos ascended, leaving the ground battlefield.
The Diamond Giant stood up from the pile of rubble, his chest bearing noticeable dents and cracks, but the surrounding earth and stones quickly gathered to heal him.
His natural defense was fearsome, and he could continually repair himself by absorbing earth and stone.
Even standing still, it would take a long time to kill him.
In his current state, Galos didn’t really have a good solution for the Diamond Giant.
And the Diamond Giant was equally helpless against Galos.
Galos’ speed was too fast, and filled with stamina, maintaining his terrifying speed and power, yet until now hadn’t shown any signs of fatigue or weakness, with no obvious flaws.
Both sides found each other incredibly troublesome.
"He can’t kill me, but the other clan members are in a dangerous situation."
The Diamond Giant’s gaze swept over the other giants as he thought this.
The Granite Giant was pressing the young giant’s head back onto his body, suturing the wound with earth element energy, making it stand up again. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
Stone Giants weren’t flesh-and-blood beings.
Beheading wasn’t a fatal blow to them.
But the feeling of brushing with death still made the young Stone Giant tremble slightly, filled with anger and fear towards the Dragon above.
The younger giants were similarly terrified, shaking behind the Granite Giant.
"We can’t continue fighting him in the camp."
"Each attack of his causes damage to the camp, and I can’t fight freely because I have to care for my kind."
With this thought, the Diamond Giant raised his head, cursing and provoking Galos.
"You hybrid mutt."
His roared, shouting angrily: "Only dare to stay in the sky, afraid to come close to the ground, you coward, you’re not even as good as these worthless Rock Lizards!"
"You fear me, fear me tearing your Dragon Wings, pulling off your Dragon Scales, skinning you, and breaking your bones!"
"No Red Dragon is as cowardly as you, you lack any Dragon glory, making me disdain you!"
First, insult to attract hatred.
The Diamond Giant noticed the young Dragon’s face showing anger.
Heh, still just a young Dragon, though more steady than other Dragons, he couldn’t hold back, unable to withstand provocation.
Considering Galos was steadier than other Dragons.
This kind of taunt might not sufficiently attract hatred.
The Diamond Giant casually snapped off a section of his own finger, throwing it into the sky: "Come on, cowardly hybrid lizard! This little scrap is enough to be heirloom treasure for your beggar’s nest, don’t you Dragons just love shiny garbage?!"
He gathered the light from his body, converging it onto his left chest.
In his chest, a radiant light appeared.
Pure, gleaming, bright.
Like a small white sun.
It was the heart of the Diamond Giant, a supreme Magic Diamond nurtured over hundreds of years by the Stone Giant’s body.
"You don’t even have the right to touch real treasures, you scum!"
The Diamond Giant, after insulting, used the greed of the Dragon Race to lure.
Galos’ eyes flickered, staring at the Diamond Giant, showing appropriate anger and greed on his Dragon face.
"I will use my claws to open up your stone body and dig out your heart."
He said.
"Heh, come if you dare."
The Diamond Giant bent his knees slightly, then leapt, leaving the Stone Giant Camp, running towards the rear highlands.
The Stone Giant Camp was situated on a highland.
The ground here sloped gently upwards, generally flat, with few obstacles; it ran at a good speed, gradually distancing from the camp.
Galos, like he was attracted by provocation and treasure, abandoned the attack on the Giant Camp.
A barely noticeable curve graced the corner of the Red Iron Dragon’s mouth.
"Finally... fell into the trap!"
He whispered joyfully in his heart, flapping his wings and flying high, chasing after the Diamond Giant.
