A Dragon against the Whole World-Chapter 55: Vera, Dragon Race Classification

Vera is an Elf Dragon, born in the Immortal Spirit Wilderness.

This is a domain full of various magic and wonders, mystery and beauty, not belonging to Bernardo Planet.

While in the Immortal Spirit Wilderness, Elf Dragon Vera lived with some other sprite-like creatures, such as Pikachu, Forest Fairies, etc., at the top of a singing eucalyptus tree, finding joy every day in plucking Unicorn manes, and the gentle Unicorn never troubled them, indulgent and kind, like an old sage, and at the same time their Guardian.

Until one day.

Having lived in the Immortal Spirit Wilderness for over twenty years and grown accustomed to the same scenery, Vera suddenly had a wild idea, wanting to see the outside world.

The thought took root in her mind the moment it appeared and grew daily.

So, taking advantage of the Unicorn’s nap, Vera secretly slipped away from her habitat, wandering alone in the beautiful and vast Immortal Spirit Wilderness, enjoying the feeling of being free.

The sea of flowers was full of all colors, rivers flowed endlessly, and the gentle winds blended with the dazzling radiance of the fairyland. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Vera was so enchanted by the beautiful sights of the fairyland wilderness that she unconsciously forgot the Unicorn’s warnings, driven by curiosity, she ventured into the dark and decayed depths of the forest, encountering the fallen and terrifying Sad and Angry Fairies.

Fortunately.

During her escape, she entered an unstable space channel and was swept to the Sel Wilderness, and after a period of acclimatization, she settled in the Sel Wilderness, living by a stream outside Needleleaf Valley, with a group of ill-tempered Violent Bears as neighbors.

She had secretly observed the Violent Bears.

Noticing these big dull creatures were slow to react and not sharp, she would divert herself by weaving toys from their fur or using magic to turn invisible and blow into their noses, satisfying her playful nature when she was idle.

After a period of hibernation, having woken up once more.

Vera felt her nest had become cramped, so she decided to go to Violent Bear Ridge to pull some bear fur and expand her little nest, while also playing pranks on the stupid bears.

As night deepened.

Vera took action, using the Invisibility Technique to render herself undetectable, lowering her presence as she stealthily moved through the lush tree canopy, eventually reaching Needleleaf Valley.

But unlike usual.

She hadn’t found the silly bears yet, but Vera heard a dull, crashing sound at the edge of the valley, and driven by her curious nature, she couldn’t help but go closer to investigate.

Arriving at the scene, Vera was astonished.

She saw a Giant Dragon with iron-like scales and an incomparably strong body repeatedly crashing its sensitive parts against a sturdy tree trunk, as if feeling no pain.

So frightening.

So terrifying.

Even scarier than the Sad and Angry Fairies.

Vera didn’t dare to breathe or blink, afraid that her movement might catch the terrifying Giant Dragon’s attention.

She intended to quietly leave but couldn’t help being curious about Galos, so she cautiously observed from the shadows.

This dragon might be in heat and without a partner, so it vented its anger on the innocent Needleleaf Pines, and judging by its appearance, despite its peculiar look, the traits of a Red Dragon and Iron Dragon were faintly visible, likely making it a hybrid of Red Dragon and Iron Dragon.

A hybrid of the leaders of the Five-Colored Dragon and Iron Dragon would naturally be an intrinsically evil Dragon Race.

It’s said that Evil Dragons have intense desires, and indeed, even though its size appeared to be that of a young dragon, it still did not spare the trees.

If I were discovered, with my small build, being struck by its terrifying weapon........ when Vera thought of this, she couldn’t help but shiver with fear at the thought.

At the end of Galos’s final fierce crash, it forcibly snapped the tree trunk as wide as several people, holding hands, into two halves.

The Red Iron Evil Dragon abruptly turned its head, looking fiercely over, staring directly at her.

Vera was struck stiff.

"Elf Dragon."

At the first sight of the Elf Dragon, Galos was slightly taken aback, somewhat surprised.

There are many different kinds of dragons, and they are classified and categorized based on certain characteristics.

Five-Colored Dragons.

—— Red Dragon, Blue Dragon, Green Dragon, Black Dragon, White Dragon.

Metal Dragons.

—— Gold and Silver Dragon, Brass Dragon, Bronze Dragon, Red Copper Dragon.

Gemstone Dragons.

—— Purple Crystal Dragon, Sapphire Dragon, Jade Dragon, Yellow Jade Dragon, Crystal Dragon.

These three major categories are the most numerous and relatively common Dragon Race, also called the main class of dragons.

Iron Dragon, Cobalt Dragon, Chromium Dragon, Nickel Dragon, Tungsten Dragon —— although the Iron Dragon is a large class, it is much fewer than the three major categories.

There are still quite a few Dragons like this.

Sun Dragon, Moon Dragon, Star Dragon —— Cosmic Dragon.

Elf Dragon, Abyssal Dragon, Star Realm Dragon, Hell Dragon —— Plane Dragon

Earth Dragon, Sea Dragon, Forest Dragon, Celestial Dragon, Imperial Dragon —— Emperor Dragon

Time Dragon, Power Dragon, Rainbow Dragon —— Legendary Dragon

Plutonium Dragon, Blue Diamond Dragon, Illusionary Dragon, Star Dragon, Thirty-Eight-Winged Dragon —— Dragons of Hatred

Cosmic Dragon, Iron Dragon, Plane Dragon, Legendary Dragon, Emperor Dragon, Dragons of Hatred....... these all belong to the subcategories of dragons, differing from the main class dragons primarily in that their numbers are extremely scarce, so scarce they almost seem like rumors, with strength levels varying greatly, ranging from weaker than a White Dragon to even stronger than a Golden Dragon.

It’s worth noting that beyond the subcategories of dragons, there are sub-subcategories of dragons.

For instance, Sea Emperor Dragon, Multi-Headed Dragon, Rock Dragon, Mithril Dragon, Spinal Ancient Dragon, Sharp-Toothed Giant Dragon...... these are all true dragons but cannot be uniformly categorized due to the lack of common traits, thus referred to as sub-subcategory of dragons.

Similar to subcategories of dragons, sub-subcategory of dragons also vary in strength when compared to the main class of dragons.

Elf Dragons, like this subcategory Plane Dragon, are rarely seen on Bernardo Planet, maybe there’s only one on the entire planet.

Galos was somewhat surprised to see an Elf Dragon.

But beside the surprise, due to his privacy being intruded upon, a dangerous glint appeared in his eyes.

"Elf Dragon, you......"

Galos said in a deep voice, preparing to question the Elf Dragon about what it had seen.

But before he could finish, the Elf Dragon rapidly shook its head, almost shaking out an afterimage: "Didn’t see it, Vera didn’t see anything."

Galos fell silent.

Two seconds later, he looked at Elf Dragon Vera, a cordial expression squeezed onto his dragon face.

"Vera? I’ve remembered your name."

"It’s my first time seeing an Elf Dragon, your delicate and small form amazes and intrigues me, let’s be friends, don’t be nervous, don’t be afraid, I’m not an Evil Dragon."

Galos said with a smile, while walking towards the Elf Dragon.

"Oh no, oh no, oh no! Oops, I’ll definitely not be curious next time!"

Across the way, the Elf Dragon let out a shrill cry, and its butterfly-like Dragon Wings suddenly unfurled.

Whoof! Flashing Magic Dust exploded from her body, blinding white light instantly filled Galos’s vision, turning everything into a sea of white, losing sight of the Elf Dragon.

Galos decided to drop the facade.

His massive wings swept, stirring up a fierce wind.
