A Husband For Killer Mom-Chapter 298 - Jamie Arc part 12 Desperate
298 Ch. 298 Jamie Arc part 12 Desperate
Jamie was used to planning what she would do when she was about to travel. But this time, she had nothing planned when she decided to return to Singapore. Jamie started planning while waiting for the plane’s boarding gate to open, without knowing a group of people was approaching her.
They surrounded Jamie and grabbed Jamie’s both hands, making the poor girl scream and struggle. Alas, no one helped her even though she screamed hysterically. That’s when Jamie realized the men who arrested her were wearing police uniforms!
Why? Why did the police arrest her? What criminal acts has she committed? Google search 𝐟r𝑒ℯ𝘄𝐞𝙗nov𝚎𝙡. 𝑐𝘰𝘮
People looked at her with sympathy because she was heavily pregnant and being pulled away by the police. But when they believed she was a criminal who had committed murder or robbery, they no longer felt sympathy for her.
Jamie cursed the day she was born. Why can’t she talk and stand up for herself? Her panicked heart grew when she realized the police didn’t take her out but headed to the boarding gate. No matter how much Jamie tried to escape, she couldn’t. Plus, her body got tired easily because she had to support her baby’s weight.
Jamie was seated in one of the big chairs, and to her surprise, she was brought into the VIP class.
“Our apology, young mistress. Master Deke Shu sent us to bring you back to China. The baby you are carrying is the master’s grandson, and he wants his grandson to live in his house.”
Jamie turned pale at this announcement. Would Deke Shu take her son from her?
Now she understood why Loraine wanted to keep Anxia’s birth a secret. Her friend didn’t wish Deke Shu to suddenly appear at their house and take Anxia back to China.
.....
Jamie bit her lip until she drew blood to hold back her tears. Why is her fate so unlucky?
Jamie was still lamenting her fate that she would never be able to live in peace. Even when she faced Deke Shu, who she thought was a good-hearted person taking care of his men, Jamie still felt the same sorrow.
“From now on, you will stay here until you give birth to my grandson. After that, you can go or stay here with your son.”
Jamie didn’t want to live here, but she didn’t want to be separated from her baby. Ultimately, she had no choice but to obey Deke Shu.
When she gave birth to a baby girl, Deke Shu didn’t hide his disappointment that the child she gave birth to was a girl. Deke Shu even interrogated her about whether Loraine had a child, to which Jamie immediately answered that she was sure that Loraine had no children.
It was enough that Deke Shu had taken her daughter away from her―she didn’t want Loraine to go through the same misery as her. Even though Deke Shu wasn’t too happy about having a granddaughter instead of a grandson, Deke Shu still loved the baby girl and provided her with everything she needed.
Jamie herself had to endure because every night, Lawrence would come to her room and fuck her until she fainted from exhaustion. The difference was, this time, she would be taking the morning-after pill because she didn’t want to become a child factory for him.
If Deke Shu wanted a boy, Jamie would never let herself get pregnant again. She also prayed that Loraine would not have a son without her knowing that at this time, The old man Zhou had a heart attack due to other bad news because of Yu Long’s actions.
Jamie and Loraine didn’t know each other’s condition was so complicated and thought their friend’s life had improved. No one knew who started first, but they decided not to contact each other.
One day when Mei Yin was three, Loraine finally reached her after a long time. She said she was currently in a mental hospital, and based on the woman’s voice, Loraine was desperate to the point she had no hope.
Jamie, who still loves Loraine like her sister, immediately flies to Hong Kong to meet her friend. She felt shocked by the news that spread in this place.
Jamie rarely reads or hears the news from Hong Kong because she is busy as a maid and a mother to Mei Yin. She didn’t expect old Zhou to have died of a heart attack, followed by the kind-hearted madam Zhou who also died due to great desperation. Meanwhile, Zhou Yu Hue depreciated in prison while someone unknown put Loraine in a mental hospital.
Jamie never thought Loraine’s life could change drastically like this and couldn’t help but wonder the little Anxia’s whereabouts.
Jamie came to the mental hospital to meet Loraine and was surprised to see Loraine’s hand movements. Loraine deliberately communicated not through sound and through hand movements that were so fast that people barely caught what Loraine was talking about.
‘I’m not crazy. They forced me to take a bunch of pills, making me hallucinate and act like a madman. They set me up!’
‘Who?’
‘Who else, if not Yu Long!?’ replied Loraine with fiery eyes making Jamie hold her breath.
If Jamie’s obstacles in China were Deke Shu and Lawrence, then Loraine’s enemies in Hong Kong were Yu Long.
‘What can I help you with?’
‘Please look for Qin Zheng at this address.’
Jamie took down the address Loraine gave her, then asked, ‘Where’s Xiao Xia?’
Loraine didn’t move to answer her question, but Jamie could see Loraine’s hands clenched so tightly. Loraine’s fingernails were digging into the skin of her hands.
“Yu Long got her.”
Jamie’s eyes widened at that. Yu Long caught Anxia?
Jamie didn’t have to worry about Deke Shu holding her daughter because she knew the old man wouldn’t hurt his own granddaughter. But… what would happen if Anxia was held back by Yu Long?
‘Who is this Qin Zheng? Can we believe her?’
‘I don’t know. But she’s my only hope to get me out of this place. I don’t have a choice. If I keep taking pills from them, I will really go beserk for real.’
‘Loraine, why don’t you ask your father for help? I’m sure he can get you out of here.’
‘…’
‘It’s better to rely on your own family than someone who won’t necessarily help you.’
‘You think my father will help me?’
Jamie didn’t know if Deke would help Loraine, but she nodded confidently.
