Chapter 370: Astral Dungeon: Demonic Incursion

As Traytora made her way through the almost unbelievably blue forest, she completed her [Demonic Transformation].

A pair of sharp and sinister dark crimson horns formed a crown atop her head as her skin turned a similar colour. Her teeth going through a similar process as they became weapons in their own right.

Her scales grew thicker and grew sharp fins atop them alongside her entire body becoming larger than before.

And while it may not be as menacing as the giant tentacled creature, or the Atral Helixion that then started attacking it, she was still an intense threat in her own right regardless thanks to her breaking the limitations placed upon this place.

These restrictions were placed there by beings unknown to anyone except the most powerful in existence and those that made them in the first place.

The restrictions being to only allow a fraction of a percent of any power that isn’t related to the element of [Space].

Yet she was defying it, using more of her power than intended.

It’s unknown how or why. It’s unknown if the creator intended this, is aware of these events or is even alive currently.

Either way, Traytora was making her way towards where she felt her father appear, hoping that it would take her to the ring he gifted her, or better yet, the bastard who stole it from her.

As for the man in question, he was currently hobbling towards his master’s abode, and whatever it was that had harmed him was clearly more potent than he had first thought, as no matter what he did, his soul would not heal at all.

His body was fine, but his soul was still cracked. And the infernal power from that higher being clung to him like a fly in a spider’s web.

This hindered his progress as it constantly wailed upon him like an annoying itch that never went away no matter how much you scratched it. Except this was worse in every way as it was basically like he was being lashed at with serrated metal whips constantly.

He trudged on regardless though, determined to get the rings to his master, even if it might kill him.

Some time had passed and it was now getting dark. The shine of the sky slowly faded into obscurity as a cold, uncaring darkness soon followed.

Up in the sky of this miniature realm, a dreadful and baleful orb of pitch-black darkness rose up, sucking in all the light from the lands below it.

At this point, Traytora had reached the location where she felt her father’s presence. But there was nothing to be found, nothing except some blood.

Pure, red blood. And it seemed fairly new also. Even if it was a few hours old. And it led out towards

She wasn’t exactly sure what she was expecting, but red blood was not it. She hoped to find either her rings, or the man who stole them. But not a pool of slightly dried out blood.

Still, this was good for her, as now she could use this to track this person, if it was indeed theirs.

Using all her skills, she used her [Apex Predator] as well as all of her vision and detection related skills to see if she could use them to trace this trail.

And it worked. Not only did her senses allow her to follow along the trail, but also trace the ever so faint magical power within.

With a renewed vigour, she set of to hunt down the person that dared steal from her.

Unbeknownst to her however, her body was starting to heal up faster than before thanks to not only her breaking the laws of this realm, but for another reason also.

That she would figure out soon enough. Currently though, she wasn’t paying attention to her body, or how it was slowly getting better.

(Traytora POV)

Much time had passed since I left the village, and I’m now guessing that the giant desolate orb of darkness in the sky was meant to herald night time, given how it disallowed for any light to remain for long as it sucked it all up.

As for me, I could tell that I was getting close. The blood was less dry and didn’t stain the ground anywhere near as much as before, and the mana was also getting thicker. All signs pointing towards the fact that I was now closer to getting back what’s mine.

For another couple of hours or so, I kept on following the trail, slowly inching my way closer to this bastard. That was until I heard him.

It was faint, but it sounded like he was in pain.

’GOOD.’ He deserves to suffer.

I don’t really care what hurt him, as I’m grateful since it’s likely what allowed me to find him.

However, now that I was close, I wanted to make sure that he couldn’t get away. And to do that, I needed to get just a little closer, lowering my Aura’s so that he would hopefully not notice.

And just a short while later, I was close enough. Then, with a crazed smile and deranged shaking eyes, I activated my [Spatial Domain].

In mere seconds, a huge area was wrapped up in my mana and then shrunk back down, condensed into a sealed are withing which I had now entrapped the bastard within my domain.

"Hahahahaha..." I then started to laugh like a lunatic as my power went wild. "Hahahahahahahaha!!"

Space cracked and ignited with searing flames that threatened to destroy everything within my domain.

Before I had even finished solidifying my domain, the man whom had stolen my rings had turned around and shouted at me.

"Y-YOU! You’re supposed to be dead!"

"AHAHAHA!!! How stupid! You have no idea what I really am!" I shouted back as I let my power condense even further, causing space to break and quake further.

Seeing this, I had an idea. Probably a very stupid idea but I was going to do it regardless of the danger.

Laughing like an inane and insane warlock, I focused most of my power, harnessing my demonic heritage and poured all the energy into the cracks forming in space.

*CRACK!*

The sky shattered and a heinous and sinister red light poured through as the pained screams of trillions of condemned souls and the grim, enamoured laughter of those who inflicted the pain rang out throughout the entire realm.

I saw as the black orb that incited darkness tried to fight the ever-cracking sky, but that too was soon shattered, dispelling its darkness and being replaced by the imposing and tarrying hue of the dark side of the Sin of Lust.

And then, demons started to fall from the sky.
