A Wolf's Howl, A Fairy's Wing-Chapter 599 - A new area
The following morning, Erik slowly opened his eyes to look up… at a clear blue sky. "Eh…?" he immediately uttered a confused sound and quickly lifted his head to look around with a worried gaze.
Fortunately, he immediately realized he was still in the master bedroom of his dimension, except the usually dark stone ceiling now showed a very different image…
He looked at his sides and noticed Emily and Astrid were still sleeping soundly while clinging to his arms, so rather than assume the worst and wake them, he slowly lowered his head back into the pillow.
He decided to call out to the administrator of this structure within his dimension. "Elora…?" he muttered through their bond, confusion in his tone. "Why has my ceiling turned into a morning sky…?"
"Hehe, good morning, love," came Elora’s loving, but unhelpful response.
Erik sighed and pursed his lips. "Good morning, little Ember…"
"And, do you like it?" Elora then continued, proudly.
Erik remained silent for a moment as he looked up at the ceiling curiously. Since he’d been a little worried before, he hadn’t yet really had the time to properly inspect it, but now that he did, the level of detail was impressive.
Clouds glided past the blue background, and a soft morning sun shone down on his naked body, giving off a warmth he could actually feel. It even smelled faintly like typical morning air. The only thing missing were some chirping birds.

"I suppose it’s impressive…" Erik shrugged through their bond, seemingly unimpressed.
"You suppose?!" Elora immediately interjected, indignantly. Over in the core room, where once Eira’s core was located, and now Elora’s imitation core took centre stage, Elora looked up at the ceiling with narrowed eyes, as if glaring at Erik from a distance. Her hands were stretched out and interacting with the core.
Grinning, Erik continued. "….but that’s just what I expect from you, Elora. After seeing your illusion sigils, this just seems a little tame. Your problem is that you’re too impressive!"
In the core room, Elora’s lips parted and closed a few times. But then she finally scoffed and pouted, despite the proud grin that quickly reestablished itself on her lips. "Slimy bastard…"
"Anyway…" she continued, quickly moving on when she noticed Erik’s smugness.
Her tone took on a hint of melancholy. "Since I can’t merge with you for a while, I wanted to make the dimension a little more friendly to long-time occupation," she shrugged lightly. "Some of the girls, especially little Alice, have also mentioned they were starting to feel a little stuffy, so I dove a little deeper into our home’s many built in sigils… and here we are."
"I see," Erik nodded, looking up appreciatively at the blue sky. "It does make the place feel a little less claustrophobic."
"Right," the fairy nodded, her pride returning before she appeared to think of something. "Oh! Remember how this structure possesses areas that even I can’t access because they’ve been locked behind a rank requirement of the dimension master, aka, you?"
Instantly, Erik’s eyes began to shine. Back when he first created his dimension and absorbed this place into it, the structure had revealed a new area that held a powerful training sigil, helping them tremendously with reaching new understandings of their affinities.
At the time, Elora discovered there were more of these areas, which meant… "A new area was unlocked when I reached the third rank…?" he asked as a curious grin spread across his lips.
"Hehe, that’s right!" Elora giggled playfully. "And you’ll love this one even more than the first!"
Erik immediately parted his metaphorical lips by engaging their bond, when Elora was ahead of him. "Unfortunately, I believe you’re supposed to meet Naeku right now, aren’t you…?" she grinned mischievously. "I suppose this will have to wait a little while… Oh, but it’s soooo amazing, too! How terrible for you!"
A wry smirk spread across Erik’s lips. "I love you too, evil woman," he sighed and shook his head.
"Hehe, don’t worry, I’ll keep it warm for you," she giggled unapologetically. "I want to be the first to try it out with you!"
Erik’s curiosity immediately started burning, but he wryly suppressed it again, knowing he had some things to do first. "Alright, alright, you’ve delivered your evil speech," he sighed reluctantly. "I’ll see you after I’ve discussed marriage arrangements with Naeku…"
With that, he left behind a giggling Elora and broke off their conversation. He planned to get up immediately, but noticed Astrid and Emily were beginning to stir at the same time.
"Good morning, girls," he greeted them gently while rolling off the bed.
"Good morning," they both yawned out of instinct… but then the events of last night came back to them and they reacted instantly. They sat up quickly, Emily’s larger breasts shuddering enticingly, while Astrid’s stayed firm, and looked at each other.
Astrid grinned widely at Emily, and the goth narrowed her eyes angrily in response. No words passed, but Astrid and Erik were both waiting for Emily’s first words.
Fortunately, they didn’t have to wait long.
"Hmpf," she grumbled and stopped glaring at Astrid, instead dropping back into the bed’s pillows with an aggrieved pout, arms crossed under her naked breasts. "Just don’t think you have any authority over me now!"
"Hehehe," Astrid grinned and chuckled with a hint of relief. "Don’t worry, I won’t! I hope I didn’t go too far, either.’
"It’s fine," Emily grumbled, clearly still a little annoyed, but overly so. Then, she suddenly grinned and glanced at Erik. "Daddy’s done much worse to me in the past, hehe~~"
Ignoring her last comment, Erik nodded with satisfaction. "I’m glad there’s no hard feelings…" At the same time, he pulled a casual but elegant silver and amber outfit from his storage and put it on.
"There’s not… I may have even enjoyed it a little…" Emily grumbled when she glanced at Astrid.
Yet, seeing Astrid’s smug expression, she immediately looked back at Erik again and sat up excitedly. "But now I want to try it, too!"
Chuckling, Erik nodded. "Sure… but you’ll have to decide on your target, alright?" He glanced at Astrid, "I doubt Astrid will agree to let the roles be reversed, and you can definitely forget about Elora. So that just leaves Emma, the servants… or Naeku."
