Absolute Death Game-Chapter 451 - 48 Evil God_2
However, with a formidable enemy in front of him, Xiao Buli didn’t have the luxury of time to admire or study these zombies. Seeing something emerge from the crystal coffin and knowing it was effective, he didn’t care what type of zombie it was. He took out the Refining Ghost Copper Pot and Giant Spirit Scepter, a combination he had devised to strengthen the three Magical Treasures when he initially crafted them. There was nothing particularly interesting about the zombies themselves.
Xiao Buli’s True Qi circulated as he cast a Yin Transforming Skill and an Enlarging Technique on the freshly summoned Black Evil. With the addition of these two powerful BUFFs, the Black Evil hadn’t taken more than a couple of steps before its body suddenly swelled, transforming into a three-meter-tall colossus with muscles as hard as steel.
The cooldown period for the crystal coffin was up at this time. A vortex of dark mist swirled as an Iron Corpse, its body shining with a metallic luster, stepped out from the coffin. It seemed that the type of zombie the crystal coffin produced was random.
With the three Magical Treasures in hand, Xiao Buli felt greatly assured. He no longer joined the melee but hid behind the crystal coffin instead, casting Mysterious Ice Slash or Sunfire Spellball towards any Serpent Demon that approached the edge of the pit, fending them off temporarily. Then, whenever a zombie emerged, he would throw two BUFFs on it. Fortunately, the crystal coffin emitted an aura of ghostly energy; although the Serpent Demons knew Xiao Buli was behind it, they hesitated to engage, and the zombies fearlessly confronted anything in their path. Completely obedient and unbeknownst to fear, the zombies would even build a mound of corpses if Xiao Buli so desired. Without a word, they jumped into battle with the Serpent Demons. The Iron Corpse, relying on its natural armor, ignored any semblance of technique or strategy. It simply grabbed a Serpent Demon, oblivious to the screeches and scratches it made on its body, and savagely ripped the creature in two—one hand on the head, the other on the tail.
The Black Evil was not to be outdone; with its razor-sharp claws and teeth, it pierced the heart of the nearest Serpent Demons with ease. With a single pull, it tore the bodies of the Serpent Demons like old cloth.
In just over a minute, the rim of the large pit had gathered more than a dozen zombies. Flailing their limbs and exercising their strengths, they completely surrounded the pit, preventing the crazed Serpent Demons from advancing a single step.
Xiao Buli could finally rest easy, knowing that no Serpent Demon would disrupt the Lava Giant Python’s process. He watched these nightmarish killers with satisfaction and observed each zombie’s capabilities, quickly discovering their specialties.
For instance, the relatively short red Blood Corpses could absorb life through their attacks. Even though they were just over two meters tall after the enhancements, which seemed dwarfed by the towering three-meter-tall zombie behemoths, as the Blood Corpses killed more Serpent Demons, they grew larger. They were now a head taller than the other zombies.

Then there was a Green-haired Zombie covered in green fur. Its attack strength didn’t seem very high, but it constantly emitted corpse poison from its body, which looked like a fog. This poison differed from that of the Serpent Demons; while both were toxic, the corpse poison was evidently more potent. The Serpent Demons enveloped in this poison could barely struggle at first, but eventually, they lay gasping on the ground, unable to move. The worst part was that this poison didn’t kill them quickly. The Serpent Demons occasionally writhed or twitched, their ferocious faces contorted as if trying to squeeze off their own flesh with their facial muscles, sending a clear warning to other Serpent Demons to keep their distance from the Green-haired Zombie. Those Serpent Demons lying on the ground were like a sign that read, "Stay away, living beings."
Though the zombies had the upper hand, their attacks were one-on-one, lacking any AOE skills. Xiao Buli watched for a while but soon grew bored. He began to cast Mysterious Ice Slash and Nine Heavens Thunder Fire Sword towards the densely-packed Serpent People. Meanwhile, the ten zombies took care of any escapees. This formation was like a death sentence for those Serpent Demons being harvested.
"If I were you, I wouldn’t waste my Physical Strength like that. Are you sure that’s all the Serpent Demons there are? What if your True Origin Points run out?" the Heart Demon, seeing that the situation had stabilized, seemed dissatisfied and interjected.
"Shut up!" Xiao Buli shouted, his motions growing even faster, as if to prove his point in defiance of the Heart Demon, which seemed to be the nature of his relationship with it. After about ten more minutes of frenzied slaughter, the bodies of the Serpent Demons quickly piled up around the area.
After another Mysterious Ice Slash, Xiao Buli suddenly felt weakened. His True Origin Force was nearly depleted after the continuous battles. Looking around, the figures of the Serpent Demons were now few and far between, and of the ten zombies, more than half had been visibly damaged. The Black Evil, which was one of the first to appear, looked the most wretched, half of its body seemingly torn to shreds by claws of the Serpent Demons, with pieces of flesh hanging from what should have been its arms.
The Long-armed Zombie, having the least defense, had its chest clawed through, and a head with a DEBUFF indicating ongoing damage, clearly suffering from multiple poisonings. However, it seemed the general situation was under control.
Xiao Buli sat down cross-legged, put away the crystal coffin, Magic Wand, and other Magical Treasures, and began meditating to restore his Vital Energy absentmindedly.
