Blood-red lines spread across his palm and then vanished.

Li Luo suddenly experienced a strange, new feeling. He could tell that he could control the Six-tailed Heavenly Wolf according to his whims. If he so wished, he could even severely injure the wolf.

This made him certain that the Lifebound Seal had been implanted onto the Six-tailed Heavenly Wolf. "You'll accompany Senior Hongyou and protect her for a while. I hope that you'll be happy when the Dragon Race grants you an opportunity. We'll meet again in the future."

When the Cloud Heavenly Emperor saw that Heavenly Emperor Zhen had finally resolved all of the troublesome issues, he smiled. "Everyone, since everything is ready, let us begin the process of distributing the crystal resonance's energy."

The faces of Li Luo and the rest instantly lit up. The real highlight was finally about to begin.

The Cloud Heavenly Emperor waved his hand, and violet clouds condensed all around him. Then purpl lotus platforms appeared beneath everyone's feet.

When Li Luo sat down, he then turned his head to see that Lu Qing'er was similarly seated, but her eyes were tightly shut, as though she was in some sort of half-slumbering state. Between her smooth eyebrows lay the Apex Resonance Crystal Core, which emmitted frigid and mysterious waves of energy.

"She is in a special state and is being protected by the remaining power of Golden Dragon Mountain's Heavenly Emperor Lu. We cannot interfere," Li Jun explained when he saw Li Luo looking at her.

Li Luo nodded. Lu Qing'er's Permafrost Sacred Seed had probably awakened, and its tyrannical energy would cause Lu Qing'er to experience explosive growth. However, it would also come with the huge drawback of blocking off all her emotions. Perhaps when she opened her eyes once again, if she even recognized him, they would be nothing more than the most ordinary of friends. No, perhaps they wouldn't even be friends, as she wouldn't need them.

While he was lost in a daze, the Cloud Heavenly Emperor raised his hand, and violet streams of light pierced through the void, streaming into the depths. After which, the star-like crystal resonance was carved into pieces. Finally, boundless amounts of crystalline light shone out, turning into beams that shot outwards.

The torrents of crystal light contained the purest resonance energy. In fact, ancient talismans condensed within the streams of light as a result of it, vaguely visible to the naked eye.

After the crystal had been split up, the torrents of energy roared towards the group below.

Li Jun glanced at the gorgeous waterfall of energy pouring down upon Li Luo and said in a serious tone, "Li Luo, the crystal resonance's resonance energy is boundless and vast. If you want to refine and absorb it all, you'll need a significant amount of time. After this, I'll return to the World Border and your Great Ancestor will have her own region to watch over. Thus, I don't know when we will meet again. Hopefully, you can take this opportunity to grow as quickly as possible. The divine continents may seem peaceful, but we are on the crux of catastrophe. Heavenly Emperor Zhen nodded in agreement. "I hope that when we meet again, you'll have reached the end of the Path of Ascension."

"I will do my best. Thank you, Ancestor and Great Ancestor, for your protection." Li Luo bowed respectfully.

He knew that Li Jun had risked a lot to rescue him with his true body. Even his Great Ancestor couldn't help the Ancestor all the time. Thus, if he encountered danger in the future, he would have to rely on his own strength to overcome it.

The deluge of crystals rained down upon Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e, enveloping their bodies. When the energy solidified, it encased them in crystalline mountains.
