Abyss Summoner-Chapter 200 - 97: Abyssal Blood War (Part 4)
In the canyon.
The stench of the Inferior Demons and dark creatures intertwined, countless severed limbs, blood, and entrails scattered everywhere, making the place resemble Purgatory.
Hundreds of Inferior Demons attacked the Snake Demon's lair.
Although Inferior Demons are mostly used as cannon fodder, their true strength is not weak. They're just a bit lacking in intelligence, but once they go berserk, even their overwhelming stench can make other creatures dizzy.
The battle was fiercely intense,
both sides were engaged in a melee, the demons' insane nature quickly ignited by the bloodshed.
The Snake Demon does not fear battle; in fact, it commands an entire canyon thanks to the spoils of war.
Bloodshed.
For any demon leader, it's a common experience to grow and gain power through slaughter, never fearing any challenge.
But now, what struck the Snake Demon as strange was that these Inferior Demons seemed to be its subordinates!
A massive question mark hung above the Snake Demon's head.
These creatures, who enjoy feasting on rotting corpses and are exiled to nearby swamps due to their smell, are only awakened to fight during battles.
Yet now, this group of mindless beings, living entirely in their own shadows, launched an attack on the main camp. The Snake Demon was completely puzzled; this was something it had never encountered before.
In this battlefield, where it's either you die or I live, every demon and every dark creature fought with madness.
An Inferior Demon had just smothered a Kobold in its arms, only to be torn apart by two Timid Demons that sprang from the side, spilling its rotten blood onto the ground, which then corroded and blackened the earth.
Madness!
Blood is the demons' stimulant. Witnessing the slaughter, the ferocity of both factions was completely aroused, turning frenzied.
The Snake Demon no longer hesitated, diving down to carve a bloody path, instantly slashing through the bodies of five Inferior Demons, wielding two Abyssal scimitars that almost blocked all assaults.
The betrayal of the Inferior Demons fueled its fury, so much so that it showed no mercy and commenced a bloody massacre to teach this group the outcome of betrayal.
"Roar..."
A dragon's roar sounded.
The battlefield paused for a few seconds in shock—there was a dragon nearby?
A one-meter body charged forward with immense power, and although small in size, its aura was akin to a Demon King. With dozens of arms hanging from its body, it attacked even more terrifyingly than the Snake Demon's swift blade.
As dozens of fists reached out, the surrounding area became a vacuum, with Kobolds, goblins, and Timid Demons knocked back, vomiting red viscera upon landing, clearly beyond saving.
The Little Empress's eyes flickered with scarlet rage. Not satisfied with just killing some low-tier demons, it bared its teeth like a small tiger claiming sovereignty, roaring towards the Snake Demon.
Its dragon wings started to tremble, hurling fists as powerful as mountains, with wind fierce enough to cut faces, crushing towards the Snake Demon.
The Snake Demon remained in a daze, the dragon's aura possessing an intimidation capability that could potentially stun its target.
Without giving the enemy a chance, the Inferior Demons darted out, squeezing all potential out of themselves. The Little Empress sensed the Snake Demon's potential threat, knowing that if it managed to recover, it could bring disaster, so it had to be killed while it was still bewildered.
By surprise!
Throughout its growth, it learned the meaning of these four words. The Little Empress appeared in front of the Snake Demon in an instant. By killing it, the army would collapse instantly!
The Little Empress spread its wings, looking from a distance like a meteor falling, carrying an unparalleled aura, impossible to resist merely by physical strength.
In the next moment, its demon-blood-stained fist shone with a blinding black light, earth-shattering!
"Puff puff puff!"
The arms on the Little Empress's body suddenly swelled; the once pale muscles rotted instantly, sprouting pus-filled lumps. Then several arms lengthened and thickened, each muscle contorting madly, like writhing corpseworms!
"Die..."
The Little Empress roared in a hoarse voice, its arms enveloped in a dark, icy aura spreading out rapidly, breaking the bounds of space to reach the Snake Demon in an instant!
"Hiss hiss..."
Faced with the threat of death, the Snake Demon finally reacted, hurriedly raising its arm to block, but the opponent's arms were overwhelmingly powerful, its formidable strength fully displayed, the Snake Demon unable to withstand!
"Boom!"
Shattered!
Faced with this terrifying, unmatched strike, the Snake Demon stood no chance, its radiating aura nearly extinguished. Even though the Snake Demon was not weak, faced with such obliterating power, its body defenses were utterly demolished, serving no purpose!
"Puff!"
The Snake Demon spewed blood wildly, its internal organs suffered unprecedented severe damage, shattered, and the blood it spurted was even mixed with fragments of internal organs!
Its face was covered in blood, and its chest was actually caved in...
The Snake Demon's advantage lay in its swordsmanship and speed.
But the Little Empress moved like flowing water from the moment she appeared to her charge, giving it no chance to prepare. Almost instantaneously, the Snake Demon took a dozen blows, its internal organs smashed, with no chance of survival.
Utter defeat!
The Snake Demon hadn't even reacted before a wave of intense pain hit it, and suddenly, its eyes turned blood-red, feeling as if they could melt everything around.
Strong feelings of unwillingness filled its nerves. It hadn't even used a fraction of its strength, and this immense unwillingness became a venomous curse, making it die with its eyes open.
"Puchi."
In the end, the Snake Demon fell, its body torn to pieces, as if forcibly ripped apart, its internal organs having long been displaced.
The low-tier demons obeyed the Snake Demon's orders through telepathy. Now, realizing their leader was killed immediately, they were thrown into chaos, unable to fight effectively.
In fact, by this point, the battle was already over. That's how it was with blood wars in the Abyss; once the leader falls, it's a sudden blow akin to a torrential downpour to the demons!
The battlefield situation changed; the dark creatures who were fighting hard gave up the battle and fled into the distance.
More and more dark creatures abandoned the fight, starting with just a dozen, then hundreds of them fled simultaneously.
The next step was the roundup operation.
The dark creatures were subdued. Besides those killed in battle and escape, nearly six hundred slaves were captured. These fellows, without any loyalty, betrayed the Snake Demon, surrendered to the Little Empress without even a second thought.
Recruiting subordinates was this simple.
There were no sophisticated plots; it was like two bully kids fighting, and whoever wins gets to be the leader.
Another ten minutes passed.
The battlefield was completely calm. The subordinates of the Snake Demon stood aside, appearing exceedingly nervous and terrified. Some kobolds expressed their respect by prostrating themselves on the ground.
The Enchanting Demon stepped out from the corner.
She too looked somewhat fearful; she had just witnessed the Little Empress tearing apart the Snake Demon with her own eyes. The Enchanting Demon didn't believe in love; she just wanted to cling to the strong.
The Enchanting Demon was skilled at using her advantages.
At this point, upon seeing the Little Empress's appearance, she was momentarily lost, then hurried two steps forward, speaking in a soft and gentle voice: "Master, I am your most loyal servant. I am willing to do anything for you."
"Ka!"
However, just as the Enchanting Demon finished speaking, a strong sense of suffocation suddenly came from her neck, and she could feel a large hand gripping her.
Why?
The Enchanting Demon's eyes widened in extreme panic. She didn't understand why after she expressed submission, she was still not spared.
The Little Empress's eyes swept across the Enchanting Demon's body, her voice cold and utterly devoid of emotion: "Master… do you also call that name?"
IQ has not yet matured.
The Little Empress's thought patterns were extraordinarily large; to her, any word implying ownership referred to that man.
She wouldn't allow any creature to vie for favor, any attempt on her master needed to be immediately strangled.
"Kacha!"
The next second, the Enchanting Demon's neck was directly snapped.
Yet another High-tier Demon fell, causing another disturbance among the demons.
.........
Abyss.
Valley of Poison.
A huge change occurred in the originally peaceful valley; the sudden arrival of a strong figure not only controlled the Inferior Demons but also toppled the Snake Demon's power, becoming the new master of the valley in one stroke.
Over a thousand dark creatures obeyed its call, making its renowned name resonate in the ears of even more powerful demons.
Nothing could stop its rise.
Even the demons privately gave it a new name, calling it...
The Bloodthirsty Queen!
