Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion-Chapter 189 - 188: The eldest prince
The three-day agreement passed quickly as Dared made his way to the Ardonla Galaxy. He had to travel from the core of the multiverse to a universe at its very edge, using one of the assassin organization's spaceships.
It was built for speed and stealth, and Dared arrived just in time.
Space tore open as the jump was completed, revealing a sleek black spaceship, a dozen meters long, appearing in the void.
Inside, Dared gazed out. Stars were scattered everywhere, and ahead, a bright solar system shone.
Nearby was a massive star—young, but enormous. Orbiting it was a single, gigantic planet, more than ten times the size of Jupiter.
"Is this where the trial will take place? If so, it's so small..." Dared thought, watching various spaceships jump in. They arrived in the thousands per second.
As he got closer, he realized the entire area was crowded.
He didn't need to guess to know that the planet was already full. He was right—both on the ground and in the skies, humans were everywhere.
He noticed that those outside the planet were at least planetary level. He could sense many terrifying auras—some, he guessed, at the galaxy level. After all, he himself was a planetary warrior.
Stepping out of his spaceship, it instantly shrank into the bracelet on his right hand.
He stood in the void of space with the others who had arrived before him. He wasn't a social person, so unlike others, he didn't engage in conversation.
Time passed bit by bit until, finally, after an hour, they felt space around them solidify. Breaking through space was difficult; even with a spaceship, it was impossible now. Time was up. The Dreadborne Organization clearly wouldn't tolerate latecomers.
Dared was glad he arrived an hour early. No matter where you looked, bodies were everywhere—millions, maybe more. The number was staggering, and Dared wasn't surprised. The Federation's reaction to the Dreadborne proved how terrifying this organization was.
"I'm glad you're all here..." a voice echoed everywhere as a massive human face not clearly seen materialized above them.
Whether they were inside the planet or outside it, everyone could see the projection, regardless of strength. It was as though they were meant to witness it.
"I am the weakest general of the Dreadborne Organization. I'll be welcoming you all. My name will be revealed to you later. Welcome to the trial of the Dreadborne Organization. Only by passing will you join us. If you don't, you will die. The fact that you're here means you've already made up your mind—no one is leaving. Either you survive and join us, or you die," the male voice declared.
At first, everyone thought they had misheard.
What did he mean by "die"? What organization would dare to make such a claim? Among the participants were not only citizens of the Federation but also individuals from powerful and weak families across the multiverse. Some of their families could shake a galaxy, and the strongest among them could make the Federation restless.
There were members of the Federation's aristocracy, including the top five aristocratic families and even the royal family—yet the Dreadborne dared this?
"Aren't you afraid of our backing?" one being, radiating a high-level galaxy aura, asked the question on everyone's mind.
"We honestly don't give a fuck about your backing. Since you've come here, you came to join us—whether you're a spy here to leak information, or you're after strength, power, or influence. It all depends on whether you survive this trial. As for the organizations or families you're from—they must already be prepared to lose you. Even you, bastard prince," the voice responded coldly, causing all eyes to turn.
Though the person was concealed, the extraordinary aura around him was impossible to miss.
A man with a black scarf covering his face stood quietly. But at the mention of "prince" and "bastard," minds raced. Many members of the royal family were present, though none from the direct bloodline—until now.
Among the five princes, only the eldest was considered a bastard, born out of wedlock. His father refused to acknowledge him; if he did, the prince would die. Still, he had been given the title of prince—no power, just a title. Yet no one dared to touch him or speak against him, for if he died, the family behind him would fall too.
He was, after all, a prince of the Federation of the human race. That title, distant and symbolic, was still sacred. And yet someone here had dared to insult him—it was the weakest general of the Dreadborne Organization.
What kind of organization was this? Everyone was stunned.
"Prince or not, I'm just here to try my luck. If I die, the royal family won't pursue it. I swear this on my life," a voice rang out.
Everyone immediately knew it was the prince. He removed the scarf, revealing a handsome, elegant face with extraordinary charm. But the only thing weak about him was his aura—it was far below planetary level. Every other prince or princess was at least planetary, but he wasn't. Not even close.
He stood on a hill within the planet. He couldn't even fly yet.
Everyone was stunned, then amazed by his words. He'd essentially cleared a path for the Dreadborne Organization—if they called him a bastard, if he died, the royal family wouldn't retaliate.
After all, the memory of what happened to the assassin organization was still fresh in everyone's mind. When they attempted to assassinate the prince, they were nearly wiped out in less than an hour.
So surely, the Dreadborne would give the prince a pass, right? If he joined, they'd be closer to the Federation and avoid becoming enemies. Even granting the prince a high rank would be smart.
Just having him would be a form of protection from the Federation.
"No need. It depends on your luck. Even if you die, they wouldn't dare to retaliate," the voice laughed...
"The royal family would disappear," the being said coldly, making everyone gulp in fear.
What kind of crazy organization were they trying to join? Most now regretted it—except those determined to grow stronger, no matter what. Among them was a young boy in one corner, grinning.
"This is it… This organization is the one… Fascinating," Dared thought. He felt a rush of excitement—his blood quickened, his heart raced, and he clenched his fists.
Before him appeared a pop-up display:
