The news about the sudden death of a prominent family spread across the city and globe, as everyone wondered how an entire family, including their maids and bodyguards had just die mysteriously without a trace.

There was no injury on their body, not a little drop of blood or mark. Investigation’s were being carried out but the cause of their death was still unknown. The results were that, they had died in their sleeps.

That’s the only possible explanation the doctors could give since they couldn’t find anything in their body or blood.

"This is sad. Who could do this to an entire family?" Hughes said as she watched the news on TV.

Penny who was too busy with her phone before looked up at the screen and returned her gaze to her cellphone.

"Thanks goodness we’re no longer in Owlsgrave, with all of this madness, I wonder how I would have slept." Sofie said.

"You’re right." Hughes accepted immediately. She didn’t know how she would have felt if she was still there and this was happening.

The Hutchinson family, are one of the biggest and powerful family in Owlsgrave. No one dared mess with them. Plus they were a part of the secret committee, meaning they couldn’t be harmed and someone had dared wipe the entire family including the guards.

How did the person get past the tight security?

"This means there’s a serial killer, and every household is in danger. Owlsgrave is no longer a safe place." As Penny sat there, her mind lingered to a certain person.

Was he okay too?

If there’s one thing she knows, was that Osvaldo was more than capable of protecting himself, but she still couldn’t help but wonder. She knows she should hate him.

If anyone gets to see her thoughts and the crazy things she thinks about him, they would never believe it. And she couldn’t help it. If only he hadn’t been so stupid to try to kill her children. She felt like punching him in the face over and over and over again.

Xavier stepped into the room where they were and sat next to his child.

"Penelope." He called softly and she lifted her head to him.

"Daddy." Penny called. He had no idea why his heart melts anytime she calls him daddy of father. He couldn’t believe he had a child, and soon, he’ll have people calling him grandpa. Xavier smiled.

"What is it?" Came Penny’s words.

"Everyday, I fell so proud that I have a daughter." He pinched her cheeks.

"Then you don’t know how happy and proud I am to have a father like you. Although, I wished I had met you earlier." She hugged him. Her eyes moistened at she hugged him, little tear drop staining his white shirt.

"Me too." Hughes who had been keeping her Miss Penny company smiled at both people. She took felt like crying. She didn’t know Penny from anywhere until her master, but Penny had a good heart.

She had one of the purest heart she has seen, even more than her master Osvaldo’s mother.

Hughes helped herself out of the room before she burst into tears. After not having anyone for years and had cried and suffered alone, Penny was now surrounded by one of the best people on earth. She had a father who could kill himself for her, she had brothers who were ready to go to war for her.

And she had a sister, who didn’t want to see her suffer a day in her life. She also had and uncle and Aunt who loved her like their own. Her entire family loves her, and Penny was grateful for that.

Everyday she looks at her new family, her heart wells up for joy. Her children are going to be born into this love and happiness. She was ready to give them the life they never had.

"I love you too." Xavier said lifting her up as he wiped her tears with his thumb.

"I know you’ve seen the news." Penny nodded at her father’s words. It was really heartbreaking seeing such thing happen in Owlsgrave, but there was nothing she could do.

"Because of that, I, your uncle and Aunt have decided to leave for Owlsgrave today. We have a lot of businesses we need to take care of." Penny frowned at his words.

"You promised to be here for a week. You only just came yesterday."

"I know and I’m sorry. Your cousins will be coming too. That news has destroyed businesses too, and unfortunately, ours have been affected." Xavier said.

"But not to worry, once everything is settled, we’ll be back. You’ll still have your cousin and Hughes here with you. That way you won’t be bored." Penny shook her head like a little child. She didn’t like that. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

She wanted everyone with her this time. They have all been her rock since they arrived. Penny knew she couldn’t go back yet, not when Osvaldo was still around Owlsgrave. Who knows what next he’d do to her children.

"We’ll be back, in maybe a week or two. We won’t take long."

"You forget that I’m also going to be staying with my granddaughter too. You have nothing to fear Penelope. Your grandfather’s here too." Penny smiled as Darlington walked in.

"We have also decided you’ll have a bodyguard. A special bodyguard that would protect you while they’re not here. A trained professional." Penny blinked at his words.

"Why do I need a bodyguard when we have guards around. They’re more then capable of protecting me." Penny laughed.

"We know that, but the last time I was here..."

"I was bored and decided to go out." She defended herself.

"That’s our point. When next you’re bored, rather than a weak old housekeeper like Hughes, you’ll have a strong man go out with you. That way, he’ll protect you from harm."

"No one is saying any harm will come to you, but having your bodyguard is a plus." Xavier added.
