Accidentally Reincarnated in Cultivation World-Chapter 381: The Japanese Robotic Cat
"For you to appear here, there must be a reason," Hundun said, its formless presence giving subtle pressure.
"Grand Controller."
It deliberately used the alias of the Heaven Tribe’s envoy, clearly to establish their relationship.
Like Hundun itself, this being was only a fragment of a far greater existence, constrained within the sealed domain of the Land of Mortality.
Yet even as a fragment, its presence cannot be ignored.
"Would you believe me, if I said I came to kidnap this child?" The Grand Controller replied lightly.
Hundun’s aura stirred, as the cushions in the room were pressed by invisible weight.
"Please spare me these tasteless jokes," Hundun said coldly.
"And state your true purpose."
The Grand Controller fell silent for a breath longer than necessary.
"But, what if that is my true purpose?" he said at last, his voice dropping dangerously low.
Hundun’s presence pressed upon him.
"Nobody has truly killed a member of the Heaven Tribe since the Beginning of Time Immemorial," Hundun said slowly.
"But do you really believe that is the whole truth, %#$@%!?"
The true name slipped out.
The Grand Controller’s eyes narrowed at once, the humor vanishing from his expression.
Though his existence predated Hundun’s awakening, Hundun itself was an Unkillable Absolute Being, born directly from the Dao.
Age alone meant little between them.
"You’ve never spoken so openly before," the Grand Controller said.
"Is this child truly that valuable to you? ...Or are you deliberately provoking me?"
He paused, then added with faint resignation, "You do realize that technically, I am the Vice Leader here."
Hundun did not answer immediately.
Instead, its attention shifted, past the Grand Controller.
Toward Yu Xuan.
The young man stood engulfed in ethereal, formless flames, The First Spark of Heaven, as his body and will were being tempered.
Seeing this, the Grand Controller spoke again.
"I see, you intend to use the Future Blessing Ceremony after all. And judging by this reaction... his qualifications are far above average."
Hundun remained silent.
The baptism continued.
With this Spark, Yu Xuan would obtain the minimum qualification required to face that sealed existence without his mind collapsing outright.
Without it, even stepping into its presence would shatter his sanity as that being originally did not exist within the Heavens.
And should he perform well during the Future Blessing Ceremony... the awakening of his Supreme Will would become almost seamless.
Hundun watched quietly.
After all, even though every challenger before Yu Xuan had ultimately failed their mission, none of them had truly lost anything valuable.
Those who survived carried immeasurable karmic ties to ancient existences, as future paths widened beyond imagination and most importantly.
They no longer needed to fear conspiracies from these existences.
Because the ones who might plot against them.
Were sealed here for unknown time period.

Yu Xuan found himself in another world.
Or rather, another familiar world.
Above him, the constellations of Earth hung quietly in the sky.
Beneath his feet stretched the familiar jade staircase, each step pristine and cool.
At the top, the same garden greeted him once more, filled with those impossibly beautiful flowers he had seen when he first arrived here during the Martial Ancestor’s Legacy.
At the center of the garden stood a man.
No, him.
Old Yu.
"So this is the second time, huh?" Old Yu said, clicking his tongue lightly.
"Looks like we got dragged in unexpectedly thanks to that damned Tower."
As he spoke, two luxurious sofas materialized out of thin air, complete with embroidered cushions.
Old Yu sat down casually on one and gestured toward the other.
"Sit."
Yu Xuan complied, though his brows were already knit with questions.
"Wasn’t I supposed to be undergoing... whatever those ’qualifications’ were?" Yu Xuan asked.
Old Yu waved his hand dismissively.
"They call it qualifications, but that’s just a fancy term. In truth, it’s nothing more than a method to gauge your true potential and more importantly, to keep your mind from collapsing under things it’s not ready to comprehend or so, that’s what they think."
As he spoke, two buckets appeared between them — UFCs from the cultivation world, steaming faintly.
Yu Xuan glanced at them, unimpressed.
"Nah. Give me ice cream. The one with chocolate chips."
Old Yu paused.
The buckets vanished. A bowl of ice cream appeared instead, generously loaded with chocolate chips.
"Yeah, add more chips. Like, a lot more." Yu Xuan continued seriously.
Old Yu stared at him, long and hard, with an expression that clearly said: Is this really me?
Yu Xuan took a bite, eyes lighting up.
"You know," he said thoughtfully, "if we started an ice cream business in this world, with my Creation affinity, wouldn’t I basically be the ultimate labor force?"
He paused mid-sentence, spoon hovering.
"...Noo. Bad idea. Terrible idea. This idea should die."
Old Yu didn’t even bother responding to that.
The light humor faded, and Yu Xuan’s expression turned serious.
"So," he said, looking straight at Old Yu, "why did you pull me here?"
Old Yu looked at Yu Xuan’s seriousness.
Then his expression turned solemn.
Almost... profound.
He leaned back slightly, folded his hands, and spoke in a slow, deliberate tone.
"I called you here to ask for your opinion on something extremely important."
Yu Xuan straightened subconsciously.
"About what?" he asked.
Old Yu nodded gravely.
"...What do you think about that Japanese robotic cat’s actual age?"
Silence.
Yu Xuan blinked.
Once.
Twice.
"...What?"
Old Yu maintained the same serious expression, as if discussing the fate of the cosmos.
"You know, blue, round, no ears, even Time travel. He pulls impossible items out of his stomach pocket."
Yu Xuan’s mouth twitched.
"...Are you talking about Doraemon?"
"Yeah," Old Yu replied casually.
"Why not? Even I get bored sometimes, you know."
Yu Xuan stared at him.
He had expected revelations.
Secrets about his bloodline.
Explanations about his system.
Warnings about this sealed realm.
Instead, he got this.
A dark aura seemed to gather behind Yu Xuan as he slowly narrowed his eyes.
Yu Xuan badly wanted Yu Zhen’s Judgemental eyes now.
If looks could kill, Old Yu would have been erased from every timeline.
Old Yu, however, remained completely unfazed.
"Don’t look at me like that," he said lightly.
"And jokes aside," he continued.
"I genuinely didn’t expect you to be baptized by the First Spark of Heaven."
