Addicted After Marriage: Marrying My Abstinent Boss-Chapter 200: Both Die Together
Zane didn’t dare to act against anyone because he didn’t know if Tim had told anyone about this matter or left any inappropriate photos or videos.
If he did something to her, it would surely bring a lot of trouble in the end.
Or, if he really did it, what then?
Sophia Lowell would definitely leave him, leave without a second thought.
"Zane, I don’t blame you for this, and I won’t tell anyone..." Tim said softly, "You’re already married, Sophia loves you very much. No matter what, Sophia is my sister, I won’t bring this matter..."
"Shut up." Zane didn’t want to see her hypocritical expression.
Now he didn’t dare to mention Sophia, much less easily show his emotions.
"Don’t mention Sophia in front of me! You dared to let Shelley get into my bed, how could you not have the guts to do this?" Zane said with a sullen face.
Ethan sneered.
Tim seemed to sniff a foul odor from their faces full of contempt.
She sneered in her heart, mocking her own self-importance.
She thought Zane would at least handle this matter quietly and soundly, but he went to such lengths.
He didn’t care about the ins and outs of this matter at all; from his eyes, one could see that he just wanted Tim dead!
What kind of grudge was it that filled his eyes with murderous intent?
"No need to waste time here. Keep her here, watch her for a month, and then we’ll know, leave two bodyguards to keep an eye on her, don’t let her die," Ethan said succinctly and chillingly.
Zane glanced at Ethan, who usually seemed gentle and refined, and was surprised to hear such words from his mouth.
Tim looked at him with disbelief.
Ethan was barely in his twenties, and yet he was so cold-blooded?
Keep her locked up here for a month, what do they want to do?
Are they going to imprison her?
"Ethan, Zane, you can’t do this to me! I didn’t do anything! You were the one who climbed into my bed, and now you want to push the blame onto me!" Tim practically roared, "If Sophia finds out what kind of person you are, would she still stay with you?"
Zane’s cold eyes lifted slightly, a chill seeping from the corners, his icy gaze falling on the haggard woman.
He slowly stood up, lifted his foot, and walked toward Tim.
Tim hastily scooted back, her trembling hands propped on the sofa, her body shaking uncontrollably, lips pale, stuttering, "What do you want to do..."
Before she finished speaking, Zane knelt on the sofa with one knee, one hand gripping her neck fiercely, the veins in his arm bulging with exertion.
Tim was forced to tilt her head back, the back of her head slamming hard against the sofa, making a dull thud.
All the words she wanted to say were choked in her throat, her face turning from pale to rosy, and finally to purple-red.
Even her breath became faint.
Tim’s hands clung to his wrist, hitting him hard, trying to pull him back to reason.
She really shouldn’t have mentioned Sophia at this time.
Sophia was his life!
The people next to her remained indifferent.
They knew that even if they killed someone now, they would still be able to leave safely.
But, whether this matter would be spread by others was still uncertain.
They were afraid that if Tim had external help, if something happened and this matter couldn’t be contained, it would be out of control.
Tim stared at this emotionless man fiercely.
It seemed like they had never been together before.
This man looked so unfamiliar, she didn’t even recognize the man in front of her.
Even if he changed, he couldn’t have become so inhumane...
"Zane..." she squeezed out two familiar yet strange words.
Zane snorted coldly, the strength in his hand increasing significantly.
"My wife is Sophia, you better engrave this sentence in your brain. Last time I was merciful and didn’t act against you, this time do you still dare to touch my bottom line?"
"It’s been a long time since I’ve had such an adversary, Tim. You’re the first woman to make me angry, and I’ll let you feel the consequences of angering me!"
"I’ve endured till tonight; it’s my limit. Since you refuse to reveal the truth, don’t blame me for being rude!"
Tim wanted to explain, but she couldn’t even make a sound.
She only felt that everything above her neck was numb, her eyeballs instantly covered with red threads, the severe blood congestion making her dizzy, as if she would faint in the next second.
And then she fainted.
Only then did Zane slowly release his hand.
He clapped the dust off his hands, picked up the cup of water on the table, and splashed it on her face.
"..." Tim, like falling weightless to the ground, suddenly had feeling.
She took big gulps of fresh air, large tears rolling down.
She clutched her chest, the pain in her chest stemming from her heart. She was extremely grieved, this man really didn’t have a bit of pity for her, not even like a stranger.
She even thought he liked Sophia because Sophia carried some of Tim’s temperament, at least because of a trace of resemblance they were together.
But now, it seemed wrong.
There was no compassion in his eyes.
At least as far as she was concerned, there wasn’t.
She had seen the look Zane gave her on Sophia.
It was a face full of love, with a smile hanging on it, eyes filled with tenderness, even his hair exuded strong affection for Sophia.
"With all the evidence gathered, Zane, do you really want me dead? Must you pin this on me?" Tim defended herself.
Zane couldn’t be bothered to argue with her, "If you’re pregnant in a month, both of you will die!"
He said this to Miles Lockwood.
Miles nodded, his gaze falling on the nearby bodyguards, who also nodded.
Tim’s emotions, just stabilized, were like being on a drop tower, ready to be pressed and suddenly crashed down anytime by him.
"No..." she hurriedly stepped forward, grabbing Zane who was about to leave. As soon as she grabbed him, she fell to the ground, perhaps because she hadn’t eaten all day, coupled with the pressure on her, her whole body soft and boneless, the last bit of strength pulling on his pant leg.
"Zane, you can’t be so cruel to me!" she cried, tears streaming down.
"What? Are you so sure you’ll get pregnant?" Zane sneered, kicking her away.
She staggered, her forehead hitting the side of the coffee table, a warm stream of blood slowly flowing from her forehead, across her exquisite chin, dripping onto the white carpet, forming a drop of incongruous bright red.
"You better pray you’re not pregnant, otherwise, I’ll make you experience a fate worse than death for the rest of your life!"
Zane was about to leave when he seemed to remember something, turning to her and saying, "It doesn’t matter if you get pregnant, we’ll do an amniocentesis then and we’ll know if it’s mine."
He scoffed, turning to leave.
Tim’s face turned pale, her mind a blank, limp on the ground.
Why would Zane say that?
He knew he wouldn’t make a mistake, he was dead drunk, half an hour wasn’t his limit. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
For a woman, it would take several minutes just to take off his clothes, let alone get that part of him up for action, even Sophia might not be able to do that.
Moreover, when he woke up, even the trash can was clean.
If she were clever enough, she’d certainly keep the battleground’s remnants in the trash can from the night before and then make him responsible.
But why did she run?
Playing hard to get?
But this was her room.
