After Betrayal: Lightning Marriage to Mr. Enigmatic-Chapter 926: Spending Big Bucks
Zoe accepted the card, widened her eyes, and watched him leave without looking back, angrily saying, "Then I’ll max out your card!"
But Harry couldn’t hear her anymore; he was eager to go home, shower, change clothes, and go to work. He couldn’t wait for the boss to already be at the company while he wasn’t there yet.
It was still early, the mall had just opened, and there were only a few customers.
Zoe wandered alone in the vast mall, like a lost soul, pitifully.
But holding the card Harry gave her, she felt happy again.
He was willing to give her money to spend, indicating he wasn’t that cold-hearted. He even specifically dragged her out from home, which was quite nice!
He couldn’t actually not work and accompany her shopping, right?
Even if Harry agreed, his cold boss, Young Master Hunter, probably wouldn’t!
Zoe’s mood lifted, and she earnestly began to pick out things in the mall.
The counter staff warmly greeted her, and Zoe responded with cheerful greetings, bought a new outfit, stepped out of the mall, went to a hotel for a shower, changed into the new clothes, and finally felt comfortable all over.
Then she returned to the mall and continued shopping.
She bought a pure gold longevity lock and a half-kilogram goldfish, painfully paid for them, and had the shopping assistant wrap them before leaving the mall.
She didn’t use Harry’s card; the longevity lock was intended for Isabella Weaver’s baby, and the goldfish was meant for Mrs. Left, which wouldn’t be right to charge to his card as these were her own sentiments.
The new clothes she bought weren’t expensive either, so there was no need to use Harry’s card.
In short, she couldn’t bear to spend his money.
Zoe carried the gifts, happily hailed a taxi, and went to the Moonlight Jewelry Tower.
Isabella knew she was coming and personally brought Grace Watt down to meet her.
Zoe beamed, holding the gifts in one hand and quickly supporting Isabella with the other, "You could have just sent someone to bring me up. Why come yourself? If Young Master Hunter knows, my life won’t be spared!"
As she spoke, she didn’t forget to greet Grace sweetly, receiving a very friendly response from Grace.
Isabella just laughed, indeed a bit afraid of Harry Hunter.
"Don’t worry, I’m here; no one would dare touch you."
It was just a normal statement, even with a bit of humor.
But Zoe was almost moved to tears.
Isabella didn’t realize the weight of her words, but Zoe understood very well; as long as she didn’t betray Isabella, Isabella would always protect her; no one would dare harm her.
Her humble, timid life was all changed because of Isabella!
Zoe’s eyes were slightly red, but her smile remained bright, "I bought a little gift for your baby; once he’s born, he can wear it! I hope he’ll be safe and sound, and live a long life!"
Isabella was pleasantly surprised, leading her while continuously thanking her, "Did you go specifically this morning to buy it?"
Zoe felt a bit shy, "Though I’ve been thinking about buying a gift for a while, today wasn’t specifically for that, but I didn’t want to go home. Harry dropped me off at the mall, and having nothing else to do, I bought a few things."
Isabella chuckled, whispering, "Seems like you’re making progress; Secretary Left is quite attentive to you."
Zoe stuck out her tongue, "He doesn’t take care of me at all. I had nowhere to go, wanted to visit his house, but he firmly refused, leaving me at the mall and leaving, so heartless."
She raised the other bag in her hand to show Isabella, "I also bought a gift for his mom, a pure gold little dragon, especially heavy, cost me a full hundred thousand! I went all out, and tomorrow I’m heading to his house, determined to uncover everything about Harry. Wait for my good news, haha!"
