After Transmigrating into a Novel with My Boyfriend, He Turned Out to Be a Native Villain-Chapter 176: You’re Yu Li?
After coming back from deva, Mu Chengsi’s mind felt groggy. She lay straight down on her bed and slept for a while. The other two roommates saw how tired she looked and didn’t bother her.
She ended up sleeping until evening. When Mu Chengsi opened her eyes, the first thing she did was pick up her phone to check the time. Her body felt a lot lighter.
She pulled open the curtain and got out of bed, rubbing her hair as she headed to the bathroom to wash her face.
Le Yi was wearing headphones and playing a game. Hearing her, she looked over. “Chengsi, you’re awake? Dinner’s already on the table for you.”
“Mm… huh?” Hearing the second part, Mu Chengsi paused. “Dinner? You bought it for me?”
Her gaze turned to her desk, and sure enough, there was a takeout box sitting there.
Le Yi had just died in-game at that moment. Taking advantage of the respawn time, she put down her phone and took a sip of water, answering, “Nope, it was Yu Li who ordered it. We each got one. Saw you were sleeping, so I left yours on your desk.”
“...?”
Mu Chengsi frowned slightly, her tone puzzled. “Yu Li?”
...Who’s that?
Why didn’t she have any memory of this person?
“Yeah, what’s up with you?” Le Yi saw her confused look and laughed. “With that expression, I almost thought you didn’t know Yu Li. No way, right? Miss Chengsi, did you forget your own roommate?”
Seeing her character respawn, Le Yi quickly grabbed her phone and focused back on the screen, but her mouth didn’t stop: “Yu Li said Bo Jingmo was the one who ordered it. Do you think they made up?”
Xiao Jingqu chimed in from the side, “I think so. Seeing Bo Jingmo at lunch, I thought something major had happened. But just half a day later and they’ve patched things up already. Little couples really do make up fast.”
“Who says they don’t? Even ordered us takeout as an apology. I’m telling you, Senior Bo totally lives up to being the campus heartthrob. Full marks as a boyfriend too.”
They were chatting and laughing, completely unaware that Mu Chengsi was frozen in place, body stiff, her eyes filled with shock and uncertainty.
Bo Jingmo too??
They’re still together??
Who the h*ll is Yu Li??
Her gaze landed on the only empty spot in the room. Mu Chengsi slowly made her way over.
If Yu Li really was her roommate, then why… didn’t she remember her at all?
“F**k, dead again!!”
Le Yi cursed angrily as she stared at her gray screen and quit the game in frustration.
Catching Mu Chengsi glancing at Yu Li’s spot, she seemed to remember something and said, “Oh right, Yu Li said she’s not coming back tonight. She also said once you’re awake, give her a call. Might be something she needs to talk to you about.”
“Call? Talk to me?”
Mu Chengsi blinked, then hurriedly grabbed her phone from the bed.
She really needed to find out who this Yu Li was, and why she was the only one who didn’t remember her, when the other two clearly did.
She found the name in her contacts and quickly dialed.
“Doo… doo—”
It didn’t take long for someone to pick up. Hearing the connection tone stop, Mu Chengsi’s heart clenched. She instinctively held her breath, suddenly too nervous to speak.
The girl on the other end spoke first: “Mu Chengsi?”
It was a totally unfamiliar voice… and yet it felt strangely familiar.
Mu Chengsi swallowed, and before she could say anything, she heard a soft laugh on the other end: “So you’re back from deva now?”
Her pupils shrank sharply. Hands and feet went cold.
How did Yu Li know about deva??
She glanced at her two other roommates and lowered her voice: “You’re Yu Li?”
The girl laughed again when she heard that, sounding lazily amused. “Yeah. You’re in the dorm right now, aren’t you?”
Mu Chengsi didn’t know what was so funny, but she frowned and responded with a serious tone: “Who are you really? Why don’t I know you?”
But the girl simply said, “Go to your bed. There’s something I left for you there.”
The bed? She had just gotten up from it.
How could there be anything there?
Still, Mu Chengsi climbed back up, frowning as she searched around. She flipped the blanket back and forth but found nothing.
Was she getting played?
Trying to suppress her irritation, Mu Chengsi spoke into the phone: “There’s nothing here. Are you messing with me?”
The girl chuckled teasingly, “Nope.”
“I just didn’t want you to hit the floor when the memory came back. That’d really hurt.”
Mu Chengsi’s eyes froze. She opened her mouth to say something, but suddenly everything went black, and her consciousness vanished. The phone slipped from her hand.
Thud— Her body hit the bed with a dull sound.
Hearing it, Le Yi looked up with a confused expression.

She started another game, figuring if someone was going to sleep, she might as well put her headphones back on. But just as she was about to, she heard a sudden yell from the bed—Mu Chengsi’s furious voice.
“What the h*ll, Yu Li——!!!”
It sounded like pure rage, but if you listened closely, there was more shock than anger.
Le Yi froze mid-action, puzzled. “Chengsi, what’s wrong?”
Maybe her voice snapped Mu Chengsi out of it, because the girl on the bed fell silent for a moment, then spoke calmly: “Nothing. I was just playing a game with Yu Li and she screwed me over. Lost control for a second.”
“Ohhh.” Le Yi nodded understandingly and laughed. “Didn’t know Yu Li was that sneaky. You should get back at her.”
Mu Chengsi: “………” You think I don’t want to?
Yu Li sat on the sofa, smiling as she heard the furious yell through the phone. She chuckled, tossed the orange in her hand, then caught it smoothly again.
“So? You remember now? See, I was just looking out for you.”
Lying on the bed, all her memories flooding back, Mu Chengsi shut her eyes and slowly reorganized her thoughts. Her voice was unreadable. “You can extract memories.”
Just what kind of power did this person really have?
Yu Li’s eyes curved into a smile, voice full of sincerity: “See? I’ve held nothing back from you, Chengsi. You’d better not make me regret it.”
Mu Chengsi exhaled deeply. Well, at least for now, she had managed to get past Sister Yu Jiao’s situation.
She sat up in bed. Something seemed to cross her mind, and her movement stiffened for a moment, her expression turning odd.
“Yu Li, I want to ask you something.”
“Go ahead.”
“If I hadn’t agreed to help you back then… would you still have taken my memory like this?”
There was silence on the other end, then a sigh.
“You really are smart, Mu Chengsi.”
Mu Chengsi: “……”
F**k. So this woman had planned for both outcomes from the start.
Whether she agreed or not, it wouldn’t have made a difference to Yu Li.
