After work, start to speedrun the other world-Chapter 623 - 250 Ending_3
The now-mature Goddess of Life can face anything with ease; it is nearly impossible to overpower her. However, if one targets the Goddess of Life from the past and maintains actions below the threshold of offense, she may silently permit Ahtal’s endeavors.
Once Ahtal earns the utmost favor of the past Goddess of Life, he can then make a move on the mature version of the Goddess of Life.
Directly seizing the primal beauty and maternal essence.
...
...
The flames flicker.
The history belonging to humanity burns away, while the fire of the King of Ash keeps burning backward into the past, reducing every trace of the old world to ashes.
It is as if a long reel of film is slowly burned from the ending back to the opening, erasing its stories entirely.
And then, there is nothing.
In the void world, a flame flickers, casting light on Ahtal, who sits in the emptiness, one hand resting on his knee as he gazes at the flickering fire before him, lost in deep contemplation.
Here, there is neither the past nor the future.
[Host, aren’t you going to create a world yet?] The system’s voice echoes in his mind, snapping Xi Mu out of his thoughts. He asks the system:
"System, have you fixed the interface?"
[Of course.] The system’s voice becomes cheerful, [Now I can lead you out of this world anytime, Host.]
"Is that so." Xi Mu rises to his feet, and the flickering flames in the void extinguish along with his movement, plunging the world back into darkness.
"In the beginning, the world was empty." The Genesis Prologue resounds softly, and the void world begins to transform.
"Until the Creator descended, igniting the primordial flame."
Light abruptly bursts forth, like a blade slicing through the abyss, birthing a world that surges toward an endless, distant future.
Thereafter.
The Creator cast the death of the old world into the new, observing as life emerged from the death of the old world.
It was the Goddess of Life, a being seemingly the embodiment of the concept of perfection in femininity, who walked alongside the Creator through the solitary world.
Wherever they passed, life sprang forth, and civilization began to germinate, giving rise to concepts such as death, destiny, lies, and more.
"Is this the myth of creation?"
On the chapel pew, a little girl gazes at the blindfolded nun beside her and asks: "Are we all the descendants of the Creator and the Goddess of Life?"
The blindfolded nun strokes the little girl’s head and replies, "We are all children of God and thus should have faith in Him."
The little girl scrunches her face and says, "The Goddess of Life must have been very busy giving birth to so many people."
The blindfolded nun chuckles faintly and replies, "The Goddess of Life doesn’t need to give birth; she merely waves her hand or exhales lightly to create life."
She then adds a sentence.
"Though she does indeed have a child she has nurtured, it hasn’t been born yet."
"Sister Nun, have you ever seen God?" The little girl suddenly asks. Upon hearing this, the blindfolded nun pauses her hand stroking the child’s head, then softly says:
"I have seen Him before, but He is gone now."
The little girl looks confused.
"God disappeared shortly after creation." The blindfolded nun explains, "It’s like going out for a stroll and coming back after some time."
The little girl appears uneasy and asks, "How long will He be gone, then?"
This world was created by God Himself—if God leaves the world, isn’t that equivalent to abandoning it?
"Once God’s child is born, He will return." The blindfolded nun explains further. She isn’t sure when Ahtal will come back, but she confidently states that once Ahtal attains omnipotence, He will return.
This timeline... remains uncertain. But as long as Ahtal reaches omnipotence, it is possible He could appear in front of her in the very next moment.
...
...
Outside the world.
Xi Mu takes one last glance at the world he created, then calmly withdraws his gaze, intending to move on to the next world.
But just as he turns around—
"Teacher, why have you come out?"
"As your master, I can’t rest easy when my disciple embarks on a journey." Hecate’s refined and graceful face reveals a soft smile, "So I exerted a little effort to break through the world’s barriers."
She approaches Ahtal and tidies his collar.
"Disciple, make sure to stay safe."
