Alpha Razor King-Chapter 85: Reconciliation.
**Razor**
I was clearly taken aback by Isabella’s confession. A year ago, I was desperate to hear her say those words to me, and she finally did. Only now, I didn’t know how to respond to it.
"Why?" I whispered to her. "What changed?"
"I realized that I love you after being far away from you," she stated. "I already did anyway before I left."
"Do you know what you’re saying, Isabella?" I caressed her cheek softly.
"I know, but I still want to spend my life with you."
My eyes widened, searching her face to be sure she wasn’t bluffing.
"You don’t know what you’re saying, Isabella. Life with me is not all vanilla."
"I know, Razor, but I don’t care," she smiled. "I love being with you, I love submitting to you, and I love being controlled by you. I tried to fight it, but I don’t want to anymore."
"What happened to you?" I frowned. "You’ve really changed."
"Don’t you like it?" she pouted, raising her chin to meet my gaze.
"I do, but I just feel you’re making a hasty decision."
"I’m not," she defended herself.
"Alright, I’ll give you some time to think about it. Think about if you really want to spend your life with me."
"And if I change my mind?" Her eyes gleamed mischievously.
"Then I’ll let you go."
The smile left her face, replaced with a small frown. "Really?"
"Yes, I’m giving you a choice."
"What about our son?"
I hadn’t even thought about that. "Still stands. You can take him; I’ll come visit him from time to time."
"Razor, I think you’re the one who’s changed."
"Don’t you like it?"
"Well," she fiddled with the button of my shirt. "I do... But you used to love me so much that you’d never let me go. But now..." She trailed off, obviously hurt by my words.
I wondered why, though. Shouldn’t she be happy that I was willing to let her have her way?
"Isabella, that was bordering on obsession. Because of that, I neglected my brother and..."
"It’s not your fault," she interrupted, hugging me tight. "It’s not. I promise you we’ll get Cross back."
"Thank you, Isabella," I pecked her forehead, but she shook her head, unsatisfied. Before I knew it, she brought her face up and kissed my lips hungrily.
Her body rubbed against my chest, soft and delicate. Gosh, I forgot how good it felt to hold my little wife. I pulled her closer, but she winced in pain.
I let go of her instantly, making her raise her brow in confusion.
"Why did you stop?"
"Because you’re in pain," I poked her nose.
"But you usually don’t mind?"
"Well, not anymore."
"I really don’t mind, sir," she said desperately, pleading with her eyes.
"Well, I do. And I’m not doing anything now. Even if we did, you’re not permitted an orgasm. You should be grateful I’m letting you off the hook."
"I guess so," she whined, burying her face on my chest.
"Now close your eyes and rest," I said firmly, holding her closely.

I settled at the dining table for breakfast, a smile creeping onto my face as Isabella walked in, looking beautiful in a lovely red jumpsuit.
She walked up to me and kissed my cheek gently before greeting me. "Good morning."
Felicia’s mouth almost dropped to the floor in surprise, and I couldn’t blame her. My little wife had grown braver, and I was loving it.
She straightened her back and made for her seat, but I pulled her by the arm, making her sit on my legs. I wrapped my arm around her waist and adjusted her to sit comfortably. "Stay here."
"Yes, sir," she replied.
Felicia finished setting up the table, and Isabella reached for her spoon, but I took it away from her and began feeding her. She smiled, clearly happy. She was so cute when she smiled, and I was happy that I was the one responsible for it.
After our breakfast, I followed her to her room where she was feeding our little baby some milk. He had his fill and began to sleep. Isabella laid him down in the baby cot beside the bed.
"Have you thought about the name we’re going to give him yet, sir?" she turned to me.
"Hmmm, I have. What about we name him after your dad?" I suggested.
"Really?" she squealed happily. "We can do that."
"Sure, if you don’t mind," I moved closer to her.
"I don’t," she was almost in tears. "I miss my parents so much."
"Come here," I pulled her into a hug, rubbing her back. "It’s alright now... you’ll be fine."
"It’s all my fault."
"It’s not," I corrected sharply. "If you have to blame anyone, blame me. I failed to protect them. I’m so sorry."
"No, it’s—" she shook her head defiantly. "It’s mine."
I sighed, sometimes Isabella needed an iron hand.
I pulled away from the hug, placing my hands on her shoulders. "Look at me," I ordered sharply, glad that she took the hint that I wasn’t playing around right now. "If I ever hear you say it’s your fault anymore, I’ll flip you over my knees and spank your naughty little bum. Do you understand?"
"Yes, sir," she whimpered, lowering her gaze to the floor.
"Good girl," I nodded, glad that I made my point known. "Now go take a nap. You need it after what happened last night."
"But Razor, I’m not sleepy." She whined.
I raised my brow in question, glad when she ran and literally jumped on the bed.
"You’re grounded, Isabella. You’re not to leave this room until I permit you," I told her. "If you need anything, call Felicia."
"Yes, sir," she replied meekly.
Nodding in satisfaction,I turned and left the room, freezing in surprise to see Kelsey standing there with a cup of coffee in her hands.
"Is there a problem?" I asked coldly.
"No sir," she shook her head. "I went to your study but you weren’t there. I brought you some coffee."
"That wouldn’t be necessary," I frowned. "I already drank some a few minutes ago."
Her smile faltered. "Alright boss. But do you need anything else?"
"No," I turned away and began walking away, but she followed me.
"Boss, did anything happen between you and your ex-mate yesterday?"
I froze, my head turning in a dark scowl. "Are you fucking crazy? Since when did you start asking me silly questions?"
She lowered her gaze instantly, her body trembling in fear. "I’m so sorry sir...I didn’t mean to encroach."
"And when did I mention she was my ex-mate?" I asked, but she didn’t respond, suddenly tongue-tied.
"Get out of my face," I ordered, as she quickly ran out of my sight.
Kelsey was definitely getting more annoying. Sooner or later, I’ll have to deal with her.
I moved to my study where Chris and Dean were waiting for me. They got down on their knees and bowed in greeting.
"Raise your head," I ordered them. "What’s the urgency about this morning?" I settled on the couch, picking up my tablet from the table.
"It’s Alpha Carl, boss," Chris began, still on his knees. "He’s called a meeting with the elders after what happened to Alpha Dave at the club last night."
"Pathetic," I ground my teeth angrily. "Aren’t they aware of their own silly laws? That bastard laid his filthy hands on my wife. Of course, I’ll fucking kill him."
"They’re planning to call a disciplinary meeting for you, sir," Dean chipped in nervously.
I laughed, resting my hand on the armrest of the couch. "All this crap because that bastard has got my brother."
I leaned back, crossing my legs. "What about that bastard Tom?"
"I haven’t heard anything about Beta Tom," Chris replied, concern flickering in his eyes. "He’s been unusually quiet, but one of our informants said he was furious last night when he got the news about Alpha Dave."
"He wouldn’t just sit back," I muttered, my mind racing. "I know that bastard very well. He’s going to try and take some revenge." I sighed, hoping to the moon goddess he doesn’t harm my little brother.
Just then, my tablet vibrated. I picked it up, a sudden feeling of unease creeping up on me. Taking a deep breath, I opened the message to see a video. My heart cut instantly to see my brother chained up on the wall, an unknown man standing beside him with a hot poker iron being pierced into his side as he screamed in horror.
I growled aloud, trying to tame the beast in me that threatened to come out. I had to steel my heart to watch the rest of the horrific video.
I flung the tablet on the table, clenching my fist hard. "I swear to the moon goddess, when I get my hands on Tom, what I’ll do to him will be heard all over Upperville, I promise!"
