" Who are you?" Emily asked angrily.

" Don’t you even recognize me? " The woman stepped closer to Emily, hatred in her eyes, "You’re the reason I was deported. I am a slave to Dyson because of you. Now Dyson is a rogue, and I have to hunt for him like a dog. You ruined my life, Emily, and I want you dead."

" You’re hurt. I’ll take you to the hospital for treatment." Klaus ignored her resistance and carried her toward the northern border.

At that moment, a jeep crossed the northern border. The jeep pulled up alongside Klaus, and Marx pushed the door open and jumped out.

" What happened? " Marx looked at Klaus and Emily in his arms in confusion." I thought you were going after Dyson."

Klaus said to Marx, " Emily was attacked and I’m taking her to the hospital. You leave the car with me, and you and the others will continue to follow Dyson. I’m sure he’s close by."

" Okay." Marx said, holding the passenger door open for Klaus.

Klaus gently placed Emily in the passenger seat, then buckled her in.

" Klaus, I’m fine." Emily said with a frown, " Let me out of the car."

Klaus ignored Emily as he got into the driver’s seat, then started the car and drove straight into the northern border territory.

" Klaus, I’m from the south. " Emily said hurriedly," I can’t go into northern territory."

Presently Dr. Stephen sterilized and bandaged Emily’s wounds. He then took Emily to the exam room for a thorough physical examination.

After Emily had completed her physical examination, Dr. Stephen asked her to wait in the lounge, as the results would not be out for about twenty minutes.

Emily sat down on the sofa in the lounge and waited in silence. At that moment the door to the lounge opened, and Emily looked up to see Dolly standing in the doorway.

As Dr. Stephen was about to leave, Dolly suddenly called out to him." Dr. Stephen, right? " Dolly asked politely.

Dr. Stephen looks down at the test report in his hand and then says to Emily, " The test report shows that you are three months pregnant."

"What? " Dolly replied, "Are you sure?"

"Yes. " Stephen replied in the affirmative.

"Oh, Jesus. " Dolly snapped to her feet, she looked a little overwhelmed." Oh, Emily."

"What’s wrong with you Dolly?" Emily looked uncertainly at Dolly.

Dolly takes a deep breath and then says to Emily, "Emily, the baby in your belly isn’t Elijah’s, it’s Klaus’."
