America 1982-Chapter 652 - 152: White Devil
(I won’t write about the details of the riots; in fact, I wrote quite a bit about the protagonist and his group donning white robes and going hunting, but after much consideration, I decided to omit that part. It’s too dangerous.)
In the records, the massive black riots in five American cities have many nicknames, and many lower-class blacks and mixed-race Latin blacks refer to that chaotic violent event as the Five Cities Uprising.
The Koreans call it the battle for the Korean-American settlement in five states.
Speaking of the Five Cities chaos, the main battleground of the riots was actually located in California’s Los Angeles, Baltimore, Miami, New York and Boston. The death toll and the destruction of property, combined with the looted goods, did not equal the severity seen in Los Angeles alone.
At least according to the news, those four cities managed to control the situation with the help of the local National Guards. In Los Angeles, however, the Governor of California took the initiative to ask for federal assistance. The President solemnly declared, in his dual capacity as the President of the United States of America and Commander-in-Chief of the United States Armed Forces, an executive order. This order directed the Department of Defense’s Northern Command to implement a contingency plan devised back in the sixties specifically to deal with domestic black racial riots. It removed the power of commanding the California National Guard from the Governor of California and transferred it to federal control. Subsequently, troops stationed near California joined with the California National Guard to form the Los Angeles Combined Task Force and deployed into Los Angeles to take control of the situation.
The total number of troops included 10,000 soldiers from the National Guard, 2,000 soldiers from the 7th Infantry Division of the United States Army, and 1,500 from the Marine Corps Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. The forces grandly marched into the city to take over key buildings. Soon, Los Angeles lifted the curfew, and banks, schools, etc., reopened.
Moreover, on the emerging internet, newspapers, and television news, there was widespread acclaim for the American soldiers maintaining order, commending the joint forces for their significant contributions to controlling the riots and restoring order.
People couldn’t stop praising Mr. President’s decisive orders, admiring the Governor for seeking help proactively at the first sign of losing control, feeling reassured by the Mayor who quickly declared a curfew and deployed the National Guard to replace the police to maintain order, and taking pride in the local white residents who spontaneously helped Koreans resist the riots.
In the whole affair, only the foolish and weak LAPD Chief of Police eventually resigned out of guilt. BT TV network’s president, who was suspected of using the television station to incite black emotions and promote racial riots; and Earl Rash, a black politician from California, committed suicide by jumping off a building after learning he was about to be investigated.

"According to the statistics provided by the police, the week-long riots in Los Angeles resulted in 82 deaths, including 5 Korean residents, 42 black residents, and 35 Latin American residents," Dennis, after reading the casualty numbers from the newspaper about the riot, looked at the people seated with him with an incredulous expression:
"What The Hell! We only helped those Koreans butcher a few hundred blacks and mixed-race Latin blacks, and there were so many with legal status among them? These proportions are a bit high. Mr. Gore, you need to pay attention to this issue in Congress, or sooner or later, America will be overrun by blacks! I’m not joking. I’ve been with Latin women, my boys have been with Latin women, and we all agree that sleeping with a Latin woman is like poking a hole in the bottom of a garbage bag with a golf club – trash will keep falling out of that hole endlessly. Imagine how terrifying it would be if America were littered with trash like that, and even more terrifying, the government would still not forget to collect a sanitary tax from a good citizen like me..."
"Mr. Herbert, uh... maybe we can talk about something else..." Gore was not quite accustomed to Dennis’s way of speaking, the guy always had a sort of after-high excitement about him, just like now, veering from talking about the riots to sleeping with Latin women, then jumping to denigrating trash and taxes.
Dennis, ignoring Gore’s discomfort, cut him off and continued, "Hear me out, to feel less cheated when paying taxes, do you know what we poor whites should do? Create our own trash. Yes, just go and mess around with some Latin women more often. After you’re done, vanish. That way, when paying taxes, you can hypnotize yourself into thinking of it as payment for services."
"Congress would certainly find your understanding of citizens’ tax obligations suitable for educating American male citizens on their duty to pay taxes," Gore could only shrug and make a not-so-funny joke.
Ted inserted a videotape into the VCR and turned on the television: "Welcome to watch the reality show starring Tommy Hawk. I have to admit, this bastard has always been the best at throwing parties at SSD."
The camera in the scene is seen sweeping over the streets near Koreatown in South Los Angeles, then panning down from the rooftops of Koreatown. On the rooftop, dozens of whites stood side by side with Koreans, wielding weapons and watching the movements on the surrounding streets. You could feel that both the whites and Koreans instinctively kept their gazes on the ground below.
The camera followed their occasional sneaky glances downward, ultimately capturing a figure in a white robe with his face hidden by a hood, standing in front of the main gate of Koreatown. He was directing two similarly hooded companions to hoist the bodies of black people and hang them on the street lights outside the main gate of Koreatown.
Just when everyone thought the man in the white robe would continue to hide his face, he actually took off the hood, turned towards the camera, and revealed himself – Tommy Hawk.
