An Aura Farmer's Guide to Another World-Chapter 30: Lick my Toes I am the Demon King
Chapter 30: Lick my Toes I am the Demon King
"Stay right there and don’t move." Grak pulled her wooden club back, ready to throw it.
"Are you forgetting something?" I asked.
I placed my hands on the throne’s surface. Despite my six-foot height, its colossal dimensions made me feel as small as a three-year-old.
"What?" Grak asked, her patience waning.
I crossed my legs and tilted my head slightly. Raising my right hand, I gestured towards my temple. "Can you not discern the color of my eyes?"
"They are blue, so what?"
"Let me guess." A slow, razor-sharp smile crept across her face. "You are stalling for time."
I laughed, ensuring my voice resonated throughout every corner of the throne room. "It seems like you have remarkable growth in all the right places, boobs, ass, and even your thighs, except for one place, your brain."
Grak let go of her wooden club. It shot through the air, aiming for my head. With a simple yet calculated tilt, I dodged.
’CRACK!’
The club slammed into the throne’s backrest, sending a deep, resonating thud through the chamber.
I dusted the debris that fell on my shirt and glanced at Grak, her face burning with anger.
"Let me educate your tiny brain. Blue eyes are a mark of Divinity; they represent the reincarnation of the Demon King."
Shazog, who had been standing patiently next to Grak, abruptly stepped back. She raised a hand to her mouth, her gaze shifting to me with wide eyes filled with astonishment and disbelief.
"I once heard that the previous Demon King had blue eyes," she muttered, her voice barely a whisper, almost to herself. "Not sure if it’s connected to this."
Grak scoffed, her tusks flashing as she turned her glare from me to Shazog. "He is clearly bluffing. You always fall for silly tricks."
Shazog, ignoring Grak’s scoff, reached a hand behind her back and brought out a clunky, blocky radio transmitter. She fumbled with it for a moment, nearly dropping it as she worked to steady her grip and hold it securely.
"Let us contact Lana," Shazog said, her voice trembling as she glanced from the device to me. "She will guide us on what to do with him."
Grak cracked her knuckles and started walking toward me. "You do that, I’ll teach this piece of shit a lesson while you’re at it."
Observing her as she approached me, her face still contorted with rage, I casually used one of my legs to hook the heel of the boot on my other foot, kicking it off with a soft thud. I then extended my now-bare foot towards her, wiggling my toes.
"Are you coming to suck on my toes as your new king?"
"You bet I would master." She responded sarcastically.
The grin on her face and the way she cracked her knuckles tell me all I need to know about her intentions.
’She is going to beat the living hell out of me.’
"Stopped right there, on second thought, I will let you off the hook for today, I forgive your insolence."
Grak kept closing the distance between us. "You can’t say that, my lord, it’s my duty to suck on those toes and I’m going to make sure they get the full treatment."
I raised my hand and extended it toward her, my expression devoid of amusement and my eyes now serious.
"If you keep disobeying my command, I’ll have to punish you."
Grak disregarded my warnings and continued advancing toward me, with only one and a half meters between us. I addressed her once more.
"If you come any closer, I’ll shatter every bone in your body."
Grak laughed for the first time, her Orc teeth exposed to the hushed atmosphere.
"I wonder what a weakling like you cosplaying as the Demon King could do."
The moment those words escaped her mouth, I snapped my finger, and the castle’s self-destruction mechanism was activated.
As the mysterious lady had promised, a black gravity bubble emerged from the center of the throne on which I was seated, enveloping the entire castle.
For a brief moment, I perceived a sound like that of a high-voltage wire, and what followed was a catastrophe of unimaginable proportions.
Everything crumbled to the ground, forming a thin membrane resembling a sheet of paper. The towering structures that reached meters into the sky collapsed onto their foundations, their impact reducing them to dust.
All the various compartments that constituted the castle were pulled down to their foundations and obliterated.
Of all the areas, the throne room was hit hardest. The collapsing roof struck both Grak and her sister. I, however, was miraculously shielded by a transparent force field.
"I warned her against approaching any further, but she ignored my warning," the words slipped from my lips.
Seated on the throne, I surveyed my surroundings, but everything had vanished; the only sight that met my eyes was the vast expanse of the Red Sea. I watched as ripples formed and crashed on the ground where the castle once stood.
"What have I done? It seems like I have entered into a pact with the devil."

’Psssshhhhh!’
A loud, piercing whistle shrieked from above, signaling a pressure release, followed by a heavy puff of steam.
A rope ladder abruptly descended, landing in the dust beside me. Looking up, I saw a figure in a green kimono, silhouetted by the moon.
The lady descended the ladder and stood before me, with two horns protruding from her forehead, pointing directly at me.
With measured steps, she walked up to me as I remained seated on the throne.
"Your eyes were not blue the first time we met."
She gently placed her hands on my chin and moved them closer to my eyes. Leaning in, she lifted my eyebrow and gazed intently into my Ocean eyes.
"Follow me," she commanded. "The council will decide whether to halt your execution or proceed."
Rising to my feet, I followed her, climbing the rope ladder and stepping into the airship.
"Maybe, just maybe, I’ll live to see another sunrise."
