He walked out with the USB.

The treant looked at him leave and turned to an unassuming instrument. He then continued to lower his head to dissect.

There were close to a hundred monitoring screens in a secret room in Cloud Peak. What happened in the lab was shot by the hidden camera. A person in black downloaded the video and after telling the guy next to him, he walked out quickly.
