Chapter 503: Chapter 503: Rabbit Blacksmith

Su Jiyai sat upright as the system’s voice continued humming with energy.

[Let me introduce your new helpers. They are:

A Blacksmith

An Alchemist

A Cooking Robot]

Su Jiyai tilted her head. "Helpers? Wait, wait—like real beings? Or just AIs?"

[They are semi-autonomous constructs, host. Each begins at Level 1 and can be upgraded with crystals or mission points.]

Her eyes narrowed with curiosity. "Mission points? What’s that now?"

There was an awkward pause from the system.

[...All the missions you completed before, but never received proper rewards for, have been automatically converted into mission points.]

Su Jiyai blinked. "Huh. You’re saying all those things I worked hard for and got nothing from... now count for something?"

[Yes. In total, you’ve earned 10,000 mission points. You may use them to upgrade your helpers.]

Her eyebrows rose. "Wow. You’ve gotten... kinda better, huh?"

The system made a buzzing chuckle. [The Administrator finally acknowledged how powerful you are. Reaching Level 5 is a big deal—only 10% of Task Executioners ever make it that far. Congratulations, Host.]

Su Jiyai smiled faintly. "Hmph. It’s about time people started noticing."

[With 10,000 points, you can upgrade one helper to Level 5, or upgrade all three helpers to Level 2.]

Su Jiyai tapped her chin, thinking hard. "Hmm... I think I’ll upgrade the Alchemist—"

[Host, it is advised to test all helpers first before making that decision.]

Su Jiyai paused. "You know what... fair enough. Let’s see what they can do."

[Summoning Blacksmith.]

Suddenly, with a tiny pop of blue light, something appeared in the air in front of her.

A rabbit.

Not just any rabbit—this one had silver fur that gleamed like polished steel, round black eyes that sparkled with intelligence, and a tiny leather apron strapped around its middle. A small hammer was strapped to its back, and it was holding a pair of welding goggles in its paw.

Su Jiyai’s jaw dropped. "What the heck?! Why is the blacksmith a rabbit?!"

The system’s voice buzzed with amusement. [This rabbit is very powerful. Once it begins crafting, its entire appearance changes. Don’t underestimate it.]

Su Jiyai raised a skeptical brow. "I wanna see it, then. What do I do?"

[You must first offer a metal and then state the type of item you want crafted. The Blacksmith can also display weapon recipes. Just ask.]

"Alright then." Su Jiyai turned to the rabbit. "Can you show me the list of weapons you can craft?"

The rabbit twitched its ears and stomped a foot.

Ping!

A light-blue panel flashed into view in front of Su Jiyai, filled with glowing weapon icons and names. Her eyes widened.

[Weapon Recipe List - Blacksmith Rabbit Ver. 1.0]

C-Rank (Advanced)

A-Rank (Rare)

S-Rank (Epic)

SS-Rank (Legendary)

SSS-Rank (Mythical)]

Su Jiyai gasped. "You can make SSS-Rank weapons?!"

She immediately clicked on the highest tier, unable to hold back her curiosity.

The panel reshaped itself, displaying a beautiful array of glowing blueprints. Each weapon shimmered with raw data and unique design traits.

[SSS-RANK WEAPONS:

Celestial Fang – A dual-elemental blade that adapts to fire and lightning.

Void Piercer – A spear that can ignore armor and drain the enemy’s energy.

Phoenix Recurve – A bow that generates its own flame arrows...]

Su Jiyai’s eyes sparkled like a kid in a candy store.

"This is insane... They all look incredible!"

She looked down at the rabbit, who was now chewing on a metal scrap like a carrot.

"...So if I give you the right materials... you can actually make one of these?"

The rabbit blinked, then nodded solemnly before shaking its head.

Su Jiyai stared at the rabbit, who had just solemnly nodded... and then shook its head.

She blinked, confused. "What’s that supposed to mean? Yes, but no?"

The system chuckled lightly in her head.

[The blacksmith means that while it can craft SSS-rank weapons in the future, it can only forge up to E-Rank weapons for now. Its current level is too low.]

Su Jiyai sighed in defeat, slumping a little. "So I get a cool rabbit blacksmith that can’t make cool stuff yet. Great."

Still, curiosity pushed her forward. "Fine, let’s test its skills first. I’ll choose something simple. How about... an E-Rank hammer?"

The rabbit perked up instantly, tapping its paw in the air.

Ding!

A crafting panel popped up in front of her, showing the hammer’s blueprint and a list of required materials:

[E-Rank Weapon: Basic Iron Hammer

Refined Iron x5

Treated Wood Handle x1

Basic Binding Thread x3

Forging Flame Core x1]

Su Jiyai leaned closer and scanned the list.

"Huh. I’ve actually got all of that." She turned to the system. "Can you pass these materials to the blacksmith?"

[Do you wish to use regular points or mission points, Host?]

"Points," she said immediately. "Those are just regular convertibles. Mission points are rare, and I’m not wasting them on an E-rank hammer."

[Confirmed. This purchase will cost 486 points.]

"Do it."

The system gave a soft chime, and within seconds, a small pile of materials materialized beside the rabbit.

The moment the last item hit the ground, the blacksmith rabbit sprang into action.

It zipped around the workshop space, which it had created on its own in the air, faster than her eyes could follow, grabbing materials with precise motions. Sparks flew. Its hammer glowed faintly. The forge roared to life with blue flames licking the air as it worked.

Su Jiyai watched, utterly stunned.

The rabbit’s movements were a blur—swift, practiced, elegant. Despite its small size, it moved with the confidence of a master craftsman. Within less than three minutes, the sound of a final strike echoed, crisp and clean.

Clang!

The rabbit wiped imaginary sweat from its furry brow, then proudly hopped forward and dropped a shiny iron hammer into Su Jiyai’s hands.

It was simple, but solid. Well-balanced. Smoothly finished. The leather grip felt comfortable in her palm.

"Whoa..." she muttered. "That was way faster and better than I expected."

Sure, it was just an E-Rank weapon, and she already had a triple-S one tucked away in her storage ring, but still...

She glanced at the system shop in the corner of her screen and blinked.

E-Rank Hammer — System Price: 5,000 Points.

Her mouth dropped open. "Wait... what?! I just made this thing for under 500 points!"

She stared at the rabbit with fresh eyes, like it had suddenly turned into a mountain of gold coins.

"If I use this guy properly, I could save so much money..."

She took a deep breath, calming herself.

"Okay. Okay. This is good. But I’m not letting my excitement get ahead of me."

[Do you wish to store the blacksmith for now?]

"Yes," she said firmly. "Store it. We’ll work more later."

The blacksmith rabbit gave a satisfied twitch of its nose and vanished in a soft swirl of blue light.

[Now, summoning the Alchemist.]

Before Su Jiyai could fully reset her thoughts, another ripple of light shimmered in front of her.

This time, when the light cleared—

Her breath caught in her throat.

A tall figure stood before her, dressed in dark forest-green robes lined with glimmering gold patterns. Long, flowing white hair cascaded down their back, tied with silver vines. Their eyes glowed faintly violet, brimming with calm intelligence and a trace of mischief.

The alchemist’s skin was smooth and almost translucent, like porcelain, and around their waist hung dozens of tiny potion bottles, herbs, and shimmering vials that clinked together gently as they moved.

Su Jiyai blinked hard. "...You’re... the alchemist?!"

The figure bowed slightly, their voice low and melodic. "Indeed, Master Host. I am here to concoct whatever your mind can dream of... as long as you provide the ingredients."

Su Jiyai stared for a solid five seconds before muttering, "Okay, now this one looks like they walked straight out of a fantasy movie..."

She glanced up at the glowing system panel again. "System... why is the alchemist so ridiculously good-looking?"

[The Alchemist is a specialized, highly sensitive support-type construct. They were designed to appear pleasing and calm to assist hosts with stressful crafting tasks.]

Su Jiyai crossed her arms. "So you’re saying it’s meant to be easy on the eyes to help me relax?"

[That is correct.]

"...Well. It’s working."

She cleared her throat and stepped forward. "So, what can you do at Level 1?"

The Alchemist raised a hand, and a soft green panel unfolded in the air.

[Alchemist Recipes - Level 1]

Basic Health Potion

Basic Mana Potion

Minor Antidote

Basic Energy Bar (edible)

Stamina Restoration Paste

Beginner’s Fire Resistance Balm

Su Jiyai’s eyes scanned the list and then flicked to the bottom, where it said:

Higher-tier recipes will unlock as the alchemist levels up. Custom potions are available at Level 4. Toxic brews and combat formulas at Level 5. Soul-bound elixirs and evolution serums at Level 5.

She sucked in a breath.

Evolution serums?

Custom potions?

She looked at the alchemist again. Her hands twitched with excitement.

"Oh yeah," she muttered. "I definitely need to see what you can do next..."
