Though Yan Wanning never had any hope from her husband to begin with, she still felt her eyes turn red in anger and grief when she heard him scold Bai Meiyue like this. Tears as big as pearls started to fall from her eyes as she looked at the intercom and listened to the things that were coming out of her ex-husband’s mouth.

Bai Qingshi was not the only one who was yelling and shouting curse words. Meng Anzhi was also among the survivors and was also pointing at the door and scolding Meng Suisui and Meng Qibao, who were standing outside and trying to stop the crowd from rushing in.

Wang Ba’s expression was mutinous and Wen Mian looked at the crowd with a hint of disgust in her eyes. She parted her lips and coldly scolded the crowd back.

"You jerks! You only know how to cry and beg! Why don’t you do something worthwhile instead of begging?" Meng Qibao screamed as he pointed at the crowd. His eyes were red as he could not listen to Meng Anzhi scolding his sister anymore.

With a nerve pressing against the skin of his throat as if it were about to explode, he scolded Meng Anzhi fiercely, "You took all our supplies and gave them to these people! What gratitude!? The crying, screaming and begging made Bai Meiyue annoyed. Her headache that had calmed down after resting for a while started to throb once again. The more she listened to their begging, the more annoyed she became, and in the end when Bai Qingshi started to drag her mother down along with her, nothing but anger remained.

She turned around on her feet and then headed towards the back of the corridor, where there was an emergency exit. She took out the card key that she always carried in her space pocket and opened the door before pulling it open.

"Where are you going?" Lei Qian was also keeping track of the situation. Because he was worried about Bai Meiyue, he asked Wan Guo Fu to connect his surveillance camera with the one in Bai Meiyue’s corridor. When he saw the woman walking towards the exit, he knew that something was cooking in her head.

She climbed down the stairs and rushed to the bottom floor, where the zombies were still active. She hacked and cut down the zombies before scooping out their nuclei and then chased them into a corner such that they were forced to go upstairs.

However, these zombies were not terrifying. One of them was a kid, while the other one was a cripple. Neither of them had any threatening points other than their sharp, jagged teeth.

"What are you trying to do?" Lei Qian saw Bai Meiyue chasing the two zombies upstairs and was stumped. He had helped her clear up the zombies on the floor, but now that she was scaring the two zombies to escape upstairs, he had no idea what she was trying to do.
